Might be cheaper if you have some way of taking advantage of the upgrade option. I'm assuming that the purchaseable upgrade for Minecraft PS3 digital just adds the PS4 version's license to the account, right?

Rumor is if you have a PS3 Disc + Save file you can get the PS4 upgrade for $5.00

I am going to Gamestop tomorrow and buying a used copy to try this out.

If it doesn't work, game goes back to Gamestop.

If it does work game will still go back to Gamestop (If I don't need the disc).

Anyone else want to try this and hook me up with a free phantom for borrowing my idea?

 
The idea does work. You can have either the disc or the download, sign into that account with the game save, then go to the PS Store and buy for 5$

 
Is this game already available in the UK/EU market right now?
Have seen a few on my PSN friends list from that area, playing it at the moment.

I got it for my little brother as he is a fiend for it. I got it through the store by downloading the demo, then in the game upgrading to the full version - I'm in Australia.

So the only way to get full access to it, is via a demo upgrade.

Allegedly Don't Starve: Giant Edition is free on the Vita PSN Store.

Even if you didn't purchase the game (Or got it from PS+)

I can't confirm as I got it from PS+

But i did download it on my Vita for free. Not sure if it's due to Plus though.

Most likely the same scenario as with God of War Collection.

I don't have a Vita anymore (sold it), so can't test it as well.

Dang, Velocity 2X has a nice soundtrack....and the gameplay is fast and furious, yet simple.

Never played the original one (if this is a remake, sequel or something), but it's a great add-on to the PS Plus library.

Gotta get the OST into my tab/phone for workouts!

EDIT: It's available on Music Unlimited, sweet...

I have SS dlc on my main from preordering Hohokum. I'd rather get a game thats on sale and just add both of those to the account, but I'll sleep on it I guess for now. And to settle the uncertainty, you are right. You cant purchase an amount under $5 using a CC.

You wanna take both resells? The issue is I was gonna share this game with a friend of mine but I'll inquire if he really cares about playing it. If not I have no problem shifting to a phantom.

Either way, splitting $5 to fund the account is still cheaper than buying the game outright.

The other way to run a PS3 group is to have 1 resell that pays for half the share and then three phantoms at 1/6 the price. The resell pays more initially, but owns the account themselves.

You still phantom the first two like normal, then do the reset. The third phantom will download along with the resell, but once they are finished, the resell will change the password and essentially lock them out of the account. After the six month period, the account can be reset again and it will just be the resells to do with as they please.
