1) 60fps is nothing new, you could achieve that on PC years ago. If you ever played fighting games competitively you would know and understand frame data and how it works and why 60fps isn't that much of a contributing factor to how good a game is. Let me tell right now that I don't play a game because it may run a tiny-bit smoother or look a tiny-bit nicer. I play games because the gameplay is good and competitive and/or atmosphere is good and occasionally I play games solely for trophies.
2) Fast trophy syncing speeds and menus don't justify a $500 price tag. The DS4 is a small improvement no where near a masterpiece. The best controller for games is an arcade stick for games that support it like shoot em ups, fighters and etc.
3) Playing mobile indie games on PS4 isn't really an arcade experience.
4) PS4 has yet to release any heavyweight exclusive title besides maybe KZ SF.
It's no surprise that the PS4 isn't pulling weight just yet, it's only in year 1 and it takes a few years to flesh out the power and exclusives that make the console worth the money to buy.
And lastly, I am surprised anyone would question my experience with gaming if they looked at my trophy card. Not that it matters but I've been playing games since I can remember and every 3-4 years I build a new PC for school (now work) and gaming purposes. I follow gaming and the industry very closely... oh and this is my current set up:
