Well 4 has aged just fine the cutscenes are the top of its class. I highly recommend the first one but 4 is a fine starting point.

I'm not particularly interested in Crazy Taxi since I already have it on PC, but am okay taking the hit. :)

Fun racing games are fun. I've never enjoyed the more serious ones, but these all appear to be more on the arcadey side.
