Knack PS4 is on sale at BBY this week for 20.

Would y'all think this would end up as a PS+ free game at some point soon?

The reviews don't seem good enough to spend 20, unless people here have had a massively different experience.

Launch game. Not great reviews. Need something to give away free for PS4.

No one said there wasn't going to be multiple stops along the bad decision making express. I should probably have just buy some of those GS grab bags and get their CC while I'm making poor decisions.

If anyone didn't know, currently there's a promo going on that if you play Fat Princess phone game (for both ios and android) till level 15,you get a free code for the ps3 version.

I owned it originally on the GC, but I only went midway before moving on to other titles of the time. I bought the HD remake when it came out, and played it through to the end. So I have experience with both versions.

It's a very good title, I would rate it a solid "B", 85/100. Not as good as the best "Zelda" games, but a good solid title. Some opinions are way over the top, but at it's current price, it's a no brainer. I've spent way more, for way less. LOL

Some people love it, but it definitely got wrecked by reviewers. Why not just give away a $20 psn card for whatever you're doing? For about the same money you could also give away minecraft or marvel legos PS4.

It's not the sort of game that is conducive to the typical review rush for a console launch, so the repetitive combat is something that would be really bad for reviewers but just fine for normal people that can play it at their own pace. I enjoyed the game quite a bit as a launch title.

Well let's hope the Halloween sale drops during this promo since I'm not $35 short of the $100 mark.  And yes, I bought Time and Eternity and now will probably end up playing it before every other better game I have in my backlog. :wall:

I'm only at $5, and I had every intention of hitting $100 if there was even a half decent sale by bolstering with some psp and dlc games on my wishlist. I want a big sale. Sadly, nothing for me during this flash sale because I'm officially done buying for my ps3.

I made a thread for weirdos like me that got a PlayStation TV that want to know which compatible Vita games have issues and which fully support DS3/DS4 for improved controls in those games.

 
I know it's still pretty early in the production cycle, but I was wondering if there'd been any comments or hints as to whether or not Mortal Kombat X will be coming to the PS Vita? Doesn't seem like Injustice or Mortal Kombat 9 did all that well on the Vita, so I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't port MK X over.

I like it a lot for games that I either don't want to play on Vita (Ratchet & Clank Size Matters) or can get expanded controls on PS TV (Minecraft), but I'm hoping for more Vita devs to update their games for PS TV since it doesn't seem like that many will do the work. I know EA won't bother for Madden NFL 13 or Need for Speed Most Wanted, but I'd like to see Sony make sure that Uncharted and Wipeout get updated for it.

Did you get rid of your PS3? I only ask because it seems like some of those games would already be avail on the PS3, so I'm not sure why you'd want to play them with your PS TV.

How well does remote play work with the Vita TV? I tried some Destiny on my Vita the other day, but for some reason it was a blurry, low-res mess. I have a pretty good router, so I'm not sure what the issue is.

Nope. I got a PS TV mainly so I could finally capture some of these Vita games along with being an easier way to capture PSP/PS1 content.

For that example, Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters is only on the PSP. I edited that post so that it's specific about the game I'm referring to.

I'm picking one up for myself for/by xmas. I will finally retire all the crap I bought for my psp to get it on the tv that never actually worked that well. Very excited for the basic functionality (ps1/psp/vita) but will also take advantage of the remote play. I had to move my ps4 last night (guests over, wife too tired for shadow of mordor controller clickity clack) and i don't want to have to do that.

I doubt Uncharted will get compatibility. On one hand, it's a major property... but on the other hand, because it was a first party launch title they really went overboard using all the various tech in the game, and I think it might just be too hard/complex to fix. The boss battles, for example, would potentially require an overhaul.

 
I need some help deciding between Hyperdimension or Deadly Premotion. I am aware the games are mediocre, but I can't decide which one to get. I like the premise and am the target audience of Hyperdimension, but on the other hand I think I'll like the campyness of DP. Thoughts?
 
Deadly Premonition has been cheaper very recently while Hyperdimension has never been this low before. If you think you'll like the premise of Hyperdimension, check out Seha Girls on Crunchyroll for free.

I actually got it for the same reason but the cursed HDCP doesn't have the option to be turned off on the PS TV and I heard HDMI splitters don't work either?

If you got it to work, I don't suppose you'd be willing to share how you did it?

I highly recommend against it. The final portion of the game is an absolute mess and killed the entire game for me. Tyler mentioned above that it is very heavy on the exploration, which it is, but there are so many different hidden walls and paths that were difficult for me to even see. I found myself finishing it with a walkthrough and constantly thinking how the fuck would anyone figure this out? Also I understand the hidden paths and walls are supposed to be difficult to see, but Knytt underground is extreme. I got it for free or really cheap from PS+ and I regret putting the time into finishing it.

PSN really needs to have a sidescroller flash sale, 'cause after Castlevania: SotN I've been itching for more.  Bugs me Capcom didn't have any Megamans on sale during that.

 
I just can't pull the trigger on Hyperdimension Neptunia. I kind of want it but then at the same time, I don't want it.  :whistle2:k All I've bought so far is Time and Eternity. I might just hold off until a  :pray: Halloween sale. I would have bit on Hatsune, but that's still too much.

Speaking of sidescrollers, I know it's somewhat dated, but can anyone vouch for Bloodrayne Betrayal? I just remembered about the flash sale ending this morning and am trying to figure out my last minute purchases. Lol It looked pretty great from the trailer on PSN.
 
I've only spent $20-25 far. I just picked up Battle Princess of Arcadias and Code Veronica this morning. I have everything else I'm interested in from the flash sale.

Not sure if the sale is still live, but I loved Bloodrayne. The combat takes a little bit of practice but eventually it flows super smoothly and is extremely enjoyable. There are a couple frustrating platforming sections later in the game, but besides that it's a great experience.
