A: Since it has been converted to pre-owned, there's no easy way to track down one. Your best bet is to go into your local store and ask if they have it in stock.

I want to thank this thread just looked up destiny ghost and found one in stock at my nearest store for 360. Funny thing is I put it on hold and mgr called me twice rt away at 9 am (they open at 10 so def no one is at the store in the mall) urging me to come pick it up this morning.
 
How is the new conversion make inventory go out faster if it's just making markdowns on CEs? We scoop up their inventory coz it's really cheap, not coz its 20% off regular price or something. Tsk.

It's the converting of regular new titles to used. Look at the new section on 360 and PS3 next time you're in a store, it's down by 1/2 of 360 and 1/3 on PS3.

 
Prefer the older way for conversations. This thread was great while it lasted but nothing worth seeing until items drop to 50% off which at that point someone will buy it when they see it in store.

this close to the holidays the soccer moms will probably buy even at only 25% or 30% off especially if on a table in the middle happens at target all the time to

CoD Ghost CE has been sitting at my local store for months. It's at $62 and people have been buying it.

Well if this new way for conversions is permanent not just for the holiday season, I believe it's bad news for most CAGs.

But there's hope:

1. Not all stores update their price stickers all the time. In fact, all stores near me are still marking CoD ghosts prestige as $99, and it will prevent people from buying these CEs.

2. Since the CEs are still in their system, we know exactly which stores have what CEs and if the price drops to the point which we want to buy them, we won't be denied.

3. Most stores near me either put CEs on shelves high up near the ceiling (or in the back), which rarely anyone will check. This is how I got a street fighter x tekken fightstick tagged $18 months ago.

I think the main problem won't be random soccer moms, but SDers. Think about this: if one day MGRR LE drops to $20 and someone makes a thread about this on SD, that basically means "all gone" in a matter of hours cuz they can check availability and place a hold on every single one.

So just a heads-up for people who follow/read this thread. I'm no longer going to be able to maintain the OP. Picked up a full-time job elsewhere and GS doesn't give me hours due to my limited availability.

Not sure if its already been mentioned, but COD:Ghosts Prestige Edition for the 360 was marked down to ~$60 or so at one of my stores.  Dark Souls 2 was also marked down to a weird $54.27 or something (don't remember which platform).  Just figured I'd pass it along.

Why would you call. Of course they wouldn't tell you even if they had it. I call sometimes but just to see if they have an item in stock. If it's Gamestop, unless it's on their site they don't have it.
