They "like" the video games when you're dating, and when you marry them, the truth is revealed.

edit - Happy Birthday MrD!. How old are you in toaster years?
34, in real life.

I don't know - is there some kind of formula to translate real human years into toaster years?

Ah, that explains it. I was going to ask how you were older than Bobby, since he created you.

I guess.

And I was going to smack you if you went into time travel as an explanation.
I would've used the multiple worlds/parallel worlds of time-travelling theory. ;)

Happy Birthday MysterD!

Glad I updated the old you in my kitchen into a newer model. You still suck though.
Nobody ever said MyD was perfect! ;)

On the contrary, I think you're representative of how real life
actually works.
i disagree. dated a chick that thought my gaming was cute. after we started going steady all of a sudden i gamed too much. she threw my controller through a glass table. yeah 86ed her soon afterwards... ymmv ;)

Just wanted to throw out there: I started playing Borderlands 2 again last Sunday, entering True Vault Hunter Mode for the first time w/my Siren.

Suddenly I'm beyond hooked...the feeling I got from playing BL1 is back. I think I just needed to get into TVHM, as the first playthrough is way too easy. With the bit of added challenge, it makes gear hunting actually meaningful and fun.

I may need a few teammates to hunt down some raid bosses in the semi-near future (next week or so) if anybody's interested.

Chances are, if you're on this site on a routine basis, you do game (way) too much. It's just a question of whether or not you care.

irrelevant. if you met your wife at the strip club you can't get mad at her when she doesn't stop stripping. besides, a true CAG doesn't game, we backlog ;)

I was the same way, so much so that I put BL2 down for a while after my normal playthroughs. If you're liking TVHM and don't mind grinding bosses, you'll likely appreciate UVHM. I'm warning you for the future, BL:tPS in normal is even easier than BL2. TVHM is definitely more challenging, however.

Yeah. My wife just mentioned my gaming and I said "Shit, I wouldn't bitch if you started getting naked for strange men."

Anyway, it worked. I'm going to have a lot more time for hassle-free gaming now.

That awkward moment you you go to buy a game only to realize you already own it.

TVHM is where I consider the game to begin. I wish they'd give you the option of starting in TVHM (maybe give you 25 skill points to start off with) once you've gone through the story campaign with one player.

I wouldn't Peon those bundles if they were on fire.

*sits back and waits for the likes to roll in*

Deadly Premonition is 90% off this weekend.
Deadly Premonition PC is worth the $2.49...

...if you have the patience to mod the game with a LAA program + use DPFix to unlock the 720p res'; save a lot at checkpoint areas (phone-booth/phones in rooms) + can tolerate tons of possible incoming CTD's.

Outstanding game marred with TONS of stability issues.

One of the worst technical PC ports I've ever seen.

My warning + review here on DP PC:

http://steamcommunity.com/id/mysterd/recommended/247660

Killer is Dead is 60% off, but I can wait longer.
I'm waiting on that one to drop, as well.

Yo MysterD...just FYI, the ps3 version is flawless.. no crash, smooth framerate and good HD graphic. :D/

p.s. Red Dead Redemption PS3 version is also flawless :whistle2:

Only a few more until tomorrow here on the East Coast - hehe.
Good, I've still got time for 1 more cheap shot: REAL friends (or even people who actually like you) don't wish "Happy Birthday" because each year you grow older is like some sort of countdown to inevitable death. If any one of my 1 friends... ahem, wished me Happy *wretch* Birthday, I'd punch him square in the armpit and never respond to his text messages EVER AGAIN!

Good day, sirs!

my best friend tells me "f*** your birthday" every year. he's the best ;)

Happy birthday MysterD. Oh, and here's a gift! Free Warlock 2 (in case anyone misses out by not seeing it in the GG thread).

On a related note, Warlock 2's DLC has been completely reworked. There's no more Lord or Great Mage editions, and the in-game store has been closed. After some community backlash, former Great Mage owners should now have the Three Mighty Mages and Spectacular Spell Pack DLC's in their library. GM owners should NOT buy The Thrilling Trio DLC, as you already have that content in-game, even if it doesn't show up as owned on Steam.
