I've been doing PC gaming since 1995 - so yeah, my collection goes WAY back.

I can get a little more modern - Dear Esther hasn't been on consoles, to my knowledge.

Weird timing on that DLC. I'm excited about a new character, but Jack's kind of whimpy in this first game and I'm not sure that inspires me to play as his body double. I hope they are very creative with his skill trees becuse he seems like a pet character and Willhelm already fills that role very nicely.

Anyone played Gauntlet? How is it? I was a fan of the old ones.

Yeah, it's not as good as the arcade game, but it's a fairly well made game. The Bow/Arrow guy was fun in a twin-stick kinda way.

Having not played the pre sequel...I don't really have much interest in playing as Jack. and his action skill seems... boring

I thought releasing a character first was an odd choice, but BL2 did have Gaige as the first non-arena DLC, so I guess it's in line with the past. I think playing as "Jack" is an odd story choice, but I guess we'll see how that fits in the narrative next week. I do think Wilhelm is my favorite thus far now that I've put time into everyone. I enjoy Nisha more than I thought, more than Sal at least. Athena has a play style that I need to adjust to still with her Aspis usage and all, but looks to be a potentially fun mid-high level character. Clappy...do not like early on. He seems like either the ultimate co-op companion (I Love You Guys), completely schizophrenic (Fragmented Fragtrap) or a complete dud at lower levels (Doomtrap). I'm going back to try and finish Nisha on TVHM then probably try out Jack.
