Fanatical Thread

Why is there more GOG talk in the BS thread than in the actual GOG thread? Not complaining, since it's like connected rooms in this small efficiency of an apartment we call PC CAG threads.

See, why couldn't you just say that?

I hate a lot of what GOG has done in the past year. They're no saints.
It's what I was saying to begin with.. I never said DotEmu is amazing or anything. I was saying they do similar fixes that GOG does, which is true. Metal Slug worked ok for me when I played with squirrel.. which was months ago.

I'm not sure what the problem with Metal Slug 3 is. Granted I've never played it on anything it originally came out for, but I haven't had any issues with it from what I've played.

I just tried the game with the new patch. It ran perfectly fine until I encountered the first crabs at which point the game started stuttering like crazy.

I want a decent port, why is that so goddamn hard for them to do? They're not even emulating the music processor, they use streamed music... lazy fucks...

it works for me no problems

i bet dotemu sabotaged you with a bad copy because they are horrible

Could it be an issue with 32 bit OSs? You're the only one I've really seen mention so many issues, and that's the only reason I can really think it might be because of.

I'm on 64-bit Windows 7.

I can run the first two Batman games at max settings, 60 FPS, but a lazyass Neogeo port won't run right?

You know Master of Magic? if you don't...

what are

  • Planet Stronghold
It's a sci-fi visual novel/dating simulator on an alien planet with some basic RPG combat thrown in. Features include guy on guy, guy on girl, and girl on girl makeout sessions and some space furries and sexualized robots. It also features people with job titles such as "Private of Planet Stronghold Army" and "King of Humans." As you might guess, the writing is not the primary feature of the game and I have just linked to approximately 50% of the relevant drawn images in the game, so I'm sure you know if you want to play it already.

Images hidden behind links to steam to prove that they're legit and to avoid posting space furry pictures in the thread.

Battle Group 2 was in a Humble weekly

Creeper World 3 was in an Indiegala Monday

Both Eador games were in a Groupees Be Mine

Planet Stronghold was in an early Groupees bundle and a Humble weekly.

There might have been other bundles too, but yeah, all technically repeats from somewhere.

So you're slidecage's butler?

no they were trying to be helpful and i thank them for that. Unlike most of the crap that is still floating around on this once great site.

Was just asking if anyone remember them ever being bundled. If noone answer i would of looked it up before the bundle expired.

Maybe make all of the Wikis on one page so someone could have all of the links to all of the past bundles without having to look though 20 topics. but whatever.

you could have just looked it up instead of flooding the thread with broken English nonsense

and you could just kept your mouth shut instead of posting crap. I dont see why when someone ask a question here people have to respond, Do you think it makes them look cool or something  saying im going to say something smart.  I asked a simple question, if you dont want to answer it then Dont post a comment about it. Simple as that.

This IS Drabe we're talking about. It's kinda his thing.

He is single-handedly driving the popcorn industry.

In all seriousness though, install Enhanced Steam. It tells you all this stuff you keep asking.

Isthereanydeal.com also has a lot of info about what's been bundled before and when. They don't update immediately, though.

While I'm all for sarcasm, tomfoolery and light-hearted trolling, let's keep it somewhat grounded. slidecage, you've been given the tools you requested to search for bundles by several posters. They're the same sites we all use, so I'd suggest you become familiar with them. Let's keep derogatory national status out, any more tension in this thread and the DEFCON level is likely to increase (not by me, but I don't want to see anyone silenced).

Is anything a real alternative to how IGBWiki (and its predecessor) used to be? Something easy to navigate and pretty much complete?

What else big do they have right now?
That's really the only standout. The store has some other WB stuff, but they're mostly the standard discounts.

but do they have neat cards :)
This question did prompt me to re-find that website that shows all of the graphics for cards, badges, emoticons, backgrounds etc because I thought it was cool and useful and pretty.

steamcardexchange.net, Showcase menu and then find a game.

Disclaimer: I'm not a real butler but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express once.

They also have all the wallpapers in HD, which is nice. I love LYNE's, but they're better for actual desktops than as profile backgrounds.

I applaud you for taking a moment to provide him with the tools to look up the information himself. Because hey, we've all been new to a situation before, and we've all needed a little bit of help. Of course, he could have just gone to each game's steam page to check if they had cards. Or failing that, checked the steam market to see if there are any listings for the game. But it always helps to have as many tools as possible to get the job done. So kudos to you for helping another CAG out like that.

Makes me fell kind of ashamed over how I acted. If only I had simply taken the time to help the guy out myself instead of flipping out on him.

Oh wait, I did. I linked him to that exact same website six days ago.

Prepare to flip out on him yourself in six days.

card thing was a joke  since people  always  say  i  ask if the game has cards. I found it after  the end posted it  (though i think it was more then 6 days ago)

Don't listen to any of these other guys, slide, you are a master of humorcraft. Every time you post literally anything, I, for one, am reduced to tears.

From... the laughter. Yeah. That.

But that was in the Humble thread. This BundleStars thread is a whole new world with a possible set of completely different answers to the exact same questions. Silly dog.

Actually I was looking up that site for myself because I forgot what is was and must have slid right past your post in the HB thread.

I went through IndieGala and spent a dollar to get a trifecta of some cheap and promising strategy games. They offered Jagged Alliance and Tropico 3 for a second tier and Tropico 4 and The Last Templar for a third tier. The Kings Bounty type bundles do have me piqued. Anyone have input on them?

Wow. That almost makes me regret buying it with Playfire credit, or it would if there would have been anything else to buy at the time. I'm actually surprised WB is devaluing the game this much this soon. What else big do they have right now?
WB also publishes Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor; and the Batman Arkham series.

Ah, thank you. Yeah, and Arkham Origins stubbornly continues to resist a price point that could interest me. I guess fighting games must not be a particularly popular genre.
Moreso on consoles, but even there, fighters have always been kinda niche, and netherealms hasn't been a popular studio since the original MK trilogy.
