I was really hoping someone would pick up Golds for RPG.  He doesnt seem like a bad guy.  He just needed better communication and needs to be more willing to help others and not just himself.

about what level did you finish at? I'm trying to get a frame of reference for what I have left. I still don't have any flying transportation which seems like an inevitability for this game but it feels like the plot is steering towards the end.

I was in the 70s. And the music for the flying transportation is the best in the game.

 
Despite Mordor and Infamous being back in stock at BB I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger. It would be $38.50 vs. $50 in the PSN store plus resale value but I think I'm just a digital person at this point. It could also be because I already have the $$$ in my PSN account as opposed to spending another $38. Decisions decisions.....Fun times.

Boosting practices aside, RPG is cool. And the whole "easy trophies" thing is fucking stupid. It would be one thing if he bragged about his trophies and acted like he was hot shit, but he doesn't so why attack him over it? I always thought it was a joke but apparently not?

Heads up, Best Buy has Borderlands Pre Sequel for $30 even though it wasn't advertised in any of the ads I saw. Just bought it online for $24 after GCU.

Out of everything on sale for black Friday, this was the hardest for me to pass on. Trying to hold out for the inevitable PS4 release with all the dlc.

It was a joke, but I guess he had enough of it. WTH can one do in a boosting session to piss people off though.

 
you guys like rpg? he mostly just called me a nub and was pretty unhelpful when I needed help with things.

also, why am I awake...I went to bed like 5 hours ago. weird, but im wide awake. I should get up and play far crym

RPG is the guy that would just nag you to get what he needed then either leave or every 5 seconds ask (through messages since he doesnt have a mic) when you would be done with boosting so he could leave.

I helped him get a trophy in Burnout Paradise the other day and once he got it he jetted. He did say thank you though. And I didnt care as I knew he just needed one and I already have most of what I need from playing and boosting with others. I also love playing the game.

The day before we all "boosted" 8 player challenges and since he didnt have a mic it made things more difficult. He kept falling off the road we needed him to finish the challenge and he kept forgetting how to get back up on it. It was rather humorous for a bit. So I can see how he would be annoying due to all these factors.

Um, RPG does brag about his trophies, that's the exact reason I started calling him out on getting so many easy plats, but not being able to handle anything with skill that he couldn't cheat his way through. Also like tyler said, he's super unhelpful and will only be nice to you if you have something he wants. He used to be a cool dude, but then you guys turned him into an asshole because that's what you do to people.

Something I just learned: Stotch thinks he is nice to me.

Also, RPG just needs thicker skin and learn to play well with others.  Therm, E and others get poked much more than RPG and they arent selfish at all that I have seen.  Nor have they tucked tail and run away.

the rift where you climb the eiffel tower in ww2 france is probably one of the better looking things I have ever seen in a video game. they may have fuck ed this game up, but that new engine they've been working on can do some pretty great stuff.

for some bizarre reason I'm getting enticed towards the golds at target, I have 3 targets nearby that seem to have them in stock. what do I do?

DO IT! The Golds are great and $40 is a steal. Also, whenever you post pretty things from Unity I make a mental note to look out for it super cheap at some point.

They include a cable so you can hook the Golds to the Vita and chat through them, if you feel inclined. For $39.99, do it.
 
Only thing I can remember RPG doing to anyone was trolling tyler during the world cup. Other than that he's always seemed cool to me and he's always posting links and trophy information. True, I hardly ever use it, but other people comment on it so it must be useful to some of you.

I don't ever recall him bragging about trophies unless you call him announcing that he got a plat bragging, which pretty much everyone in here does. I'm not saying he didn't, but if he did I must have skimmed over it.

Back from shopping. I got to Walmart around 6:30 this morning and it was dead. I guess everybody went last night. I didn't have any trouble finding anything I wanted, though.

I got Shadow of Mordor for $25 and NBA 2K15 for $35. I also had them pricematch Amazon's price of $14.99 for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. I'm not even sure if it was still that price anymore, but that's what it was when I had that tab open on my iPad yesterday. I showed it to them and they matched it without checking or saying anything.

Then I hit Gamestop with my list for the B2G1 sale. Just about everything I had on there was either already gone, without the original case, or the case was in shit condition. I grabbed Dragon Age Origins and Enslaved. I couldn't find anything to pair with them, so I just grabbed Knack for $16. I might regret it later, but I was feeling spendy and I wanted to get the hell out of there.

I drove by one last night at around 9:30 it was closed. Not sure if it was open earlier or not. I drove by a ton of places Walmart was packed as was Kohl's and ToysRus. Bestbuy, target, and kmart are in the mall and enough back from the road I couldn't see but lots of cars coming in and out of the parking lot. Did stop at a Dunkin Donuts (some where closed but this one was open). Did the drive through no wait. Didn't set foot in a store yesterday. Will be out later this afternoon though as we need a few things for the house but hopefully the madness will have died down by then

Ordered a small dust buster type vacuum and Borderlands 2.5 from my phone right before dinner last night. And ordered a Sharp 50" TV from Best Buy on my phone before going to bed.

Also picked up Shadows of Mordor and Tomb Raider earlier in the week again online.

Just watched the video. Looks amazing. That was one thing I was disappointed about Rouge on--there weren't any epic climbing sequences. Infamous 1's tower really turned me on to stuff like that. Looks like the Eiffel Tower sequence is really easy, though. It's a shame they didn't build any real difficulty into it.

The guy playing the game is a fucking idiot, though. I wanted to kick him every time he used a turret to shoot at the planes but was too stupid to lead them a bit to account for bullet travel time.
