CAGiversary!
Just found this coupon in my PUR account (active offers). Good on games with TIV over $2.00. 12/1-12/31.
lol You can't even do that since it only applies to games with TIV of $2 and up.So if I trade in 5 games at Gamestop, I'll get $11 instead of $1?! Oh boy oh boy oh boy!
I love keeping all my games, but Gamestop doesn't even try to entice me to change my mind on that.
I think he meant that trading in $10 worth of games (5 x $2 each) would yield a bonus of $1 (from PUR). With the promo, he'd receive $11 instead of $1 as a bonus.lol You can't even do that since it only applies to games with TIV of $2 and up.
This is good if you want to move best buy credits to GameStop. Buy Wii u games, specifically super smash. I'll be doing this to get gas and kindle cards.
Plus with GCU I'd rather keep my credit at BBY.biggest problem is since their alleged "trade in values are better now!" upgrade, trade in values are almost always better at best buy for newer games. I've got a few extras of stuff to trade in, was gonna go to best buy but looked up the GS values for giggles. Assuming PUR Pro and GCU
Dragon Age 3: best buy is $40+4, GS is $30+3
GTA5: BB is $44, GS is $38.50
COD:AW: BB is $44, GS is $38.50
in fact the only game that came out higher at GS is Smash Bros, ~$30 at BB and $38.50 at GS. So even with a $10 coupon I'm still far, far, far better off going to Best Buy.
To me though that indicates next year Best Buy is going to have to drop trade in values, they are just being too generous.
NO. NO. NO. It means GS has to bump up their TIVs to be competitive. To me though that indicates next year Best Buy is going to have to drop trade in values, they are just being too generous.
Pretty much get paid to rent games because of GCU. If only the casuals at Gamestop knew this. Id love to see someone pull that off at Gamestop without selling preorder DLCPlus with GCU I'd rather keep my credit at BBY.
For all the games you mentioned, if they arebiggest problem is since their alleged "trade in values are better now!" upgrade, trade in values are almost always better at best buy for newer games. Are we sure that the two promos will stack that way? It could be just base plus 10% purFor all the games you mentioned, if they areor
you still get the guaranteed $40 (+10% of base if PUR Pro) at GS.
Yes, we're sure. Are we sure that the two promos will stack that way? It could be just base plus 10% pur
I also got that Buy 2 get 1 Free coupon...that accessories part is very interestingThanks OP. I had this coupon and for some reason I have a B2G1 coupon that expires at the end of february. Does anyone else have this B2G1? I also have the B2G1 coupon from renewing that expires at the end of January. The two coupons are worded differently. One specifically indicates that it's b2g1 on games and accessories.
so this is the 50 bucks we get in deals every month LOL
Were they all traded under the same transaction? The system must have known to not give the extra $2 promo to the $40 gamesYeah it looks like the $10 bump coupon doesn't stack with $40 min. I traded in 8 games, 3 of them were under the $40 min promo and the other 5 (older PS3/Wii U games) all got the $2 bonus promo, and all of course got the 10% PUR Pro promo.
Lucky for me I bought 8 games instead of just 5, although I dunno what would have happened if I brought in 5 or 6, would it have added $2 to each of the non-$40 games or just not allowed the $10 coupon through...
Agreed about used controllers. I've bought and seen other used controllers at gamestop that were converted to preowned. I bought a street fighter X tekken fightpad that was brand new, but tagged as a preowned wired 360 controller. It's ymmv, but we should keep a look out for converted accessories that are still in original retail packaging. Anyone seen anything good lately. I know there was a decent conversion last week of a few Collectors edition games, but I didn't ask about accessories.the b2g1 coupons have included accessories for a few months now. in fact i believe for a very short window it even included consoles, so you could buy three PS3 or xbox 360s and pay for two, although they shut that down very fast.
but seriously, would YOU buy a used controller? it would be caked with cheeto jizz and mountain dew sweat
I never said they would stack...and no they won't. You have to do the math if you're trading in one of those $40 games. You're losing $ on them alone with this promo, but they may help boost your lower value games. Are we sure that the two promos will stack that way? It could be just base plus 10% pur
In fact I would pay extra, that's why I'm Gamestops biggest fan.the b2g1 coupons have included accessories for a few months now. in fact i believe for a very short window it even included consoles, so you could buy three PS3 or xbox 360s and pay for two, although they shut that down very fast.

The two groups that don't even keep up with PUR coupons and such.Soccer moms and kids will love this!
really, i an suprised you havent been s*** yet for your **************************************Gamestop is just trying to help us all move to digital. We should thank them!
I support them paying me for games I get for cheap. Nuff said. Here is proof Gamestop is an evil company.
I just checked my PowerUp Rewards account and look at the exact balance:
Keep that in mind when you support this company.
