I probably should have argued it, but technically only Luigi is on their "list of qualifying products" for some reason. And honestly, I've been through so much hassle the past couple of days after Target screwed me, $8 shipping almost feels like a friendly kiss.
 
It sounds like a lot of you don't have much experience with TRU.com. This canceling shit is quite normal and it's definitely not a special case due to the amiibos. All I can say is don't cheer until your order status has changed to shipped as they've been known to wait over a week before canceling orders sometimes (said this awhile back but it got buried). Also, I see they raised their shipping prices, no doubt to exploit the Christmas sales rush as it wasn't 8 bucks last week for this crap. Shady, worthless site ugh. Go on their FB sometime, everyone else hates them too lol.

TRU has Luigi in-stock for shipping but $8 shipping is uggggggh... I'll just wait for more stock in the New Year since Luigi probably won't be discontinued anytime soon...

I want to go amiibo hunting today, but my rational side won out. It's a jungle out there today, busiest shopping day of the year (even beating Black Friday).
 
Thank you to those who posted the Walmart links. Just grabbed Luigi, Little Mac, and two Diddy's to get free shipping, one of which ill give to my daughter to open for play. Now I just need to find Pit and hope that those TRU bastards recover my Lucario preorder.

Chatted with TRU to try to get free shipping because of my cancelled order, as told I needed to call. Well, hopefully all these preorders come through for me. Still ticked I missed Rosalina by minutes.

After years of working retail, this is false. No way is today bigger than Black Friday, let alone the day after Christmas.
 
Are most of you guys not from NYC? I'll probably regret it but I'll make you a deal. The Nintendo world at nyc is pit Diddy Kong and little Mac in Stock by a lot. If you want a Diddy Kong or a little Mac and don't want the wait I'll ship them to you for 25 same day. I know I'm ripping you off but I figure it beats hunting for hours

Also last night I preordered all of Wave 3 that I could in store at TRU.  I haven't preordered anything from TRU in years, how does that work exactly?  Do you get an email or a phone call when something comes in?  This is all assuming they don't cancel my orders (BASTARDS).

Toys R Us here on Oracle, in Tucson AZ, just put out pre order cards, literally tore the plastic off and gave me a wink.

Any ways, got pre orders for 2 of each just in case BB doesn't pull through for me.

They also had a bunch of Luigis too but no other wave 2's.

Email, but I don't know how much I'd trust their instore preorders. Last games I preordered there, all they did was take the game off the shelf. Not sure how reliable they'll be with Amiibos. That's why I won't trust any in store preorders, they have a terrible habit of putting everything on the floor first and if they sell out you're out of luck.

Yesterday was even bigger than BF. It took me over half an hour to simply exit the Best Buy parking lot last night. Ain't no way that I'm going out there again.
 
I couldn't find any new amiibo in the north Philly area.
3 hrs of stores and nothing but commons and occasionally a Zelda or diddy.

Philly got picked clean.

Waiting on a reup so I can complete wave 2. Still need a pit and cap.

Off to bed cant wait to read about all the Shit I missed while asleep.
