You can use it with both games but you'll have to delete the data from one game before moving it to the other game.

Amazon and Nintendo don't really love each other very much, so don't count on the 3DS' popping up there.

It ws shortly after the 3DS launched. The issue with it scratching the screen was what caused the rift if I remember right. They've had other disputes with Nintendo over defects on other systems previously though.

No, I'm at work so I can't be on the internet at all times. If I saw it, I would have preordered since I have GCU. Sucks, it's busy season for us so until March or so, I'm in the office 12+ hours a day.

What'd you miss at GS? I probably missed that too...

Ah the MM new 3ds xl. Had it in my cart but then took too much time wondering why I would ever need a new 3ds. Luckily the GS manager pulled through and basically dropped everything he was doing to get me a pre-order.

They're gonna do pre-orders at Nintendo World and have stuff there. Want me to keep you in mind in case I can grab a spare?

think it's safe to go to sleep now? I missed out on preorders for wave 2/3 no way i'm missing out on wave 4. They will sell out a LOT faster though. As soon as I go to sleep amazon will put their preorders up

This is what I've been thinking all day. It was only by pure luck I got in on the MM 3DS today, so I feel like all my good luck is spent.

Take this for what it's worth, but this happened to me last weekend, and I see it as confirmation of TRU stocking Pit and Captain Falcon tomorrow.

I have been placing preorders at multiple stores and cancelling them once one store came through. My Captain Falcon orders all processed around the same time, so I couldn't cancel any and ended up with 9. I went by TRU last Saturday night to return the 3 I had come in from there. While I was doing so my girlfriend went to the back to look at 3DS games.

Right after the return process started the electronics employee took all three Captain Falcons and went to the back of the store. I finished up my return, and my girlfriend overheard the following between he and another electronics employee.

He walked up with a shocked look on his face and showed the first Captain Falcon, set it down, and repeated for the next two. The second employee told him to just put it in the back with the rest of the stock. By this point I got back to the electronics department as well. I then overheard the two talking about how they have no idea how I could have gotten my hands on them already, because their street date is the 15th.

It doesn't confirm whether or not stores have stock, but it's definitely worth checking out tomorrow if you have a chance to go by.

It would figure that I work tomorrow, and won't be able to personally visit my local TRU until the afternoon. Looks like I'm going to have to call in a favor with an amiibo..er...amigo... of mine to check for me. I want mah Pit!

 
Ooo today's going to be the 15th and I'll be going past a TRU a few minutes after they open.  Of course knowing this area that will be too late.

 
All I want from Wave 4 is Pac-Man and Wario. No interest in the others. I'll most definitely get Toad from the Super Mario series, but I'm on the fence about the others. Not sure I care all that much about different poses, but I will probably need more than one of these characters so that I have one w/o Smash data.

I am starting to feel that way, haha. I don't mind collecting them as I like supporting Nintendo. I really have no interest in Luigi (I have him unopened), Mario, Peach, DK and Kirby (these four are coming in the mail, which I am not thrilled about) along with a Pikachu (in the mail) that I don't mind.

I have started opening the ones I have and the only one I was iffy on was Diddy.

I have so much ordered for wave 3 due to how hard wave 2 was to get. I was hesitant on King Dedede and Sonic (never been a Sonic fan), the rest look nice to me.

Ike looks nice and I had no idea who he was
Shiek looks good
Toon Link I was more thrilled about than regular Link
Mega Man looks good
Bowser looks good

The four exclusives even look good.

I see wave 4 and I like the way they look. If I can get them all pre-ordered from BB, I may keep everything.

Got my pit and captain falcon from TRU today. Still need to check if I was charged for them or not though.

With the marth reprint, I can actually collect the whole smash series should I choose to. I'm only missing the common ones at this point and have all of wave 3 cept rosalina pre ordered. Should probably buy Mario, peach, luigi, before they get swapped out for the Mario amiibo series

I'm super-disappointed in the new Mario Party line of amiibos.  I've seen figures of those characters posed in those exact same ways several times already, especially Bowser, Peach, and Toad.  The Smash Bros. line had the allure of unique poses and characters that had never received toys before.  Sad to see such a lazy follow-up line.

They are already commonly mistaken as "The Mario Party Amiibo's" but they are actually the called "The Super Mario Series" in the direct. They just happen to show them and go "Hey, they work with the new Mario Party 10 btw". With that being said, that means they can allow a whole slew of different Mario Game characters like Birdo or maybe even the Koopa Kids.

TLTR: They are not Mario Party Amiibo's

Maybe in the down the road we'll call it the "SMS Wave"

Where did this come from? The Super Mario Series was dated on the direct as March 20th so we know the date on them. The SSB wave 4 being split between March and May?? I have not seen this anywhere and the Japanese and European directs had dates of April 24th for them...I cant image the US getting them before them, especially not a month before.

I realize this, but I figured it was the least-confusing way to phrase it, as they were being pimped alongside Mario Party 10 in the Nintendo Direct video.

Figures of the Koopalings would be fantastic. The Furuta Choco-Egg figures that they made for 'em in Japan are some of the best Mario toys that I own.

What I'm terrified about is the possibility they release amiibo of all the minor parties like Koopas, Dry Bones, etc (thinking Mario Kart roster here).

In all honesty if they really wanted to make money they would have something a long the lines of Pokemon Amiibos and drop the price and or put an entire evolution series in one pack and sell them. Example Charmander, Charmeleon, and Charizard in one pack and sell for like $14.99 or something.
