LEGO Deals 3

I found one LEGO Chima racer for 50% so maybe some where 50%. The woman behind me grabbed the Chima thing. The guy in front of me bought two swamp helicopters and two friend polies they are sticking out. I didn't see what the Friends one was. I should have gotten his number. He's probably (and sadly) only slightly older than me and I'm in need of a LEGO sugar daddy.

I bought two LEGO luggage tags for 88 cents each. A Chima flashlight keychain for $3.50. There was a Chima clock for $17.50.

I finally found something decent at target. I snagged a few of those 4 minifigure cube sets that come with superboy/green ninja ect.  If anybody wants to trade for one let me know.

I need one but I would only pay cost + shipping + some extra.

My Target haul this morning.

Sudds Backwash says you are wrong:

From LEGO Movie Creative Ambush set released last year, the bi-plane looks kinda like it was a saloon (I base that on the bottles and the dartboard and the swinging doors...and the piece that says Saloon):

I want that set, I need a bartender for my saloon....

They had one of these for $19 at my local Target today fyi.

The Chima was only stuff left at my Target and it was at 50%.

The polybags I saw in Target's Valentine's aisle were a police pontoon chopper and the Friends smoothie cart.

Picked up 4 series 13 minifigures at target...found the 4 I was looking for pretty easy, Goblin, Fire Wizard guy, Carpenter, and Hotdog man. I had only planned to get the goblin and wizard, ugh. Also, they fixed the GL price mistake online and surprisingly its now back in stock.

Stopped by at Target and found a UCS X-Wing for $140.  It was an online return.  $133 after Red card.  Even the cashier said "That's a good price," and the woman behind me in line said she considered buying it too.

Suck it, Lego store!

Interestingly I was at TRU yesterday and they had four boxes of series 12. I should have looked for pig suit guy.

They also had Chima base 70134 that has 684 pieces for $45.

Ours a while back had a Tower of Orthanc for 150 or something like that but I was between jobs and it would have been a random purchase since we don't collect any LOTR stuff.

I would have picked that up in a heartbeat, I found a Death Star like that.

Was it the crocodile one? i've been waiting for the rest of the TRU Chima stuff to clearance. Are these nationwide or store by store?

I was just thinking of karkyco and his return/rebuy antics.  I haven't seen him in a while.  I think we also chased away that guy that was helping the kids at the TRU build a mech event.

You mean the nice guy that inspired kids with no imagination to build while the TRU employee abandoned the table? I'm still here, not sure how or why a pedophile like you would chase me away. I've made a post here and there, didn't know I needed to post weekly. In other news, that same TRU that I used to get all the leftover pieces from builds at is closing down. Now I'll have to find another store that has really low traffic where I can get away with it.

Had a couple good finds today with Target clearance.  Got an Emmet's Construct-o-Mech for 50% off at $29.98 and Hulk Lab Smash for 50% off at $24.98.  I'll admit, I did buy Hulk Lab Smash mostly just for the minifigs.

Karkyco is still around. Saw him post recently.

That's why I buy most of my Marvel/DC sets. I don't care about any comic book base or vehicle, other than maybe the Blackbird, and I didn't even want that Lego set that much.

Thundercats base though...

1. He probably still around. Keeping to himself. Or in jail because that shit isn't allowed at most Targets.

Also the lion base is $48 on S@H in case someone needs to use rewards or something.

Karkyco's got the flu. But his return-rebuy game is still infuriatingly strong.

In other news, the Legos are all but gone from the clearance aisles at Pasadena and Culver City Targets; for those folks in Southern California. I managed to snag a few Chima Legend Beasts for $4 each. But it looks as though other CAG or soccer moms grabbed up all the bigger sets at 30% off. Nothing's dropped out of the system yet at these locations that I can tell, so return-rebuy is technically possible.

There was a target I wanted to go back back too, they only had stuff at 15% and 30%, they had a lot still but not worth the trip. I did want the hulk lab smash or any Lego movie sets but didn't luck out.

Buyer beware with Amazon Warehouse.  I purchased the Dolphin Cruiser for my daughter for XMAS back in August. I was saving for XMAS, so I didn't open. On XMAS day, we opened it t build it and someone sliced open the two bags that had the MINI figures and stole them.  Who does that?  Who goes through that level of effort for a few minifigures.  Luckily, everything else was there. I contacted Amazon and they gave me a full refund and I Was able to keep the set also.  So, I got the Dolphin Cruiser for free.  Contacted LEGO also and explained the situation and the are sending out the figures (supposedly in transit).  So be sure to open ALL Warehouse packages from Amazon.

On a TARGET note, nothing in my area LEGO wise.  A few Ninjago ships (both were half off).  I'm not sure what ones, but the sale prices were $30 and $50 respectively.

MANY people do, first time I heard that happening with Friend mini dolls though. I bought a LotR set and built it just to make sure it was complete.

Yeah I've bought a couple of marvel sets that were missing the figs. The tape didn't even look messed with.
When I was still at TRU, I started to see they were taking apart the boxes where the cardboard seperates, taking the sets and replacing with random pieces and glueing it back together. Not even touching the tape. You couldn't tell from outside of the box, but once opened, you can see the extra glue inside.

You stopped working at TRU? I hope all is well with you!

20% Off TRU Clearance coupon ends today. I'll swing by to see if they have anything worthwhile.
Crap, TRU took the 4x4 Crawler off of clearance and just marked it down to a regular price of $165. Thought I was going to get a second one there for a minute.

Does look like you can get the Hobbit Barrel Escape for around $24 after coupon though which isn't bad.

Does the Galaxy Squad sets count as clearance? They are 'on sale' for 30% off and the one near me today has a few big ones.

fucking people these days. I noticed one today at Target while looking for LEGO clearance (none BTW). Someone took the Guardians of the Galaxy 6 inch figures that have the Build-A-Groot parts in it and replaced the Iron Man one (Groots Leg maybe) with a Hulk arm or something green. My son noticed as was like that's not a Groot part. People these days.

Anyways, got my LEGO mini-figures from the missing set. So LEGO came through. I wonder how many people abuse that online on their website. Hopefully LEGO is a bit more strict.

Anyone notice if the Star Wars Cantina set on sale yet? I'm hoping to get it 50% off :)

Thank you!

I went on saturday after this post. While not Lego, I picked up the Halo Mega Bloks Scarab set.

Originally $250, shelf was marked at $199. Took it to the front, it scanned in at $149, and then I got 20% more off!

$119 that that monster of a set was a steal in my book. While not Lego (I have TONS) I do love Halo, and the Forward Unto Dawn is one of those prized possesions. (so much so that I built one out of Lego and have them displayed side by side).

Nice deal! I have a few mega bloks halo set but I didn't know this bad boy and the forward unto dawn ship were made. Now to decide if I want to go get that scarab. Are there any other halo mega blok deals going on?

Friends sounds great, grocery store, limo, bus.

Chima is over in the summer.

Scooby Doo is real.

Massive City set (Like $175) that has 14 mini figures and a LEGO store.

Jurassic World is insane expensive.

For some reason you can't take pictures. I don't get that being in three weeks we will from the NYC Toy Fair.

Sandman Ambush (7603?) – Minifigures include Spider-Man, Iron Spider, Sandman, Rhino to in a larger brick-built Rhino.

I'm annoyed that they're tempting me with Starfire and Beastboy in the Jokerland set, which will probably be $139.99-149.99.

There's already a Cyborg in one of the January sets. Robin obviously already exists.

All that's left is Raven.

And I hope Carnage doesn't look as stupid as Venom.

Well shit, looks like with current conversion rates Jurassic World is gonna run over $400 for the complete series.  I'll still buy 'em all, I just wish it had been a little cheaper...
