Anyone grabbing Life Is Strange on Friday? At $4.99 for the 1st episode seems like something that might be worth a gamble. 

 
So this Vessel thing is like YouTube except it's not free ($2.99 a month)? What? Well I got an invite and a free month, maybe I'll check it out. But I'd hate to forget to cancel before the month is up.

What's the deal with this game? I've seen a few people mention it in other threads but I've never heard of it before. So it's episodic. Is it adventure game-ish? I guess I could do a minimal amount of effort and look on youtube, but that's what I have you guys for.

Nice, thanks. So far I've done the first 5 levels of one of the shit-spewing truck missions and the first 3 of a havoc mission. Also one gold medal on a race. Otherwise I've concentrated entirely on the Ronin missions. I only have one left--I played through Good D last night. After that I'll start one of the other gang mission chains.

I do wish missions would disappear after you finished them. Having finished stuff clutter up the map is kind of bizarre.

If you are that close to finishing Ronin, go ahead and do that, that unlocks one of the main character homies on on your cell phone.

 
Derek, Tyler, and Munky, word of warning about co-op and SR4.

Basically the 100% takeover is glitched for me. For some reason as the client, the pledge Rush missions appear on the map still for me in co-op despite being done. So unless I can redo these in co-op and the challenge pops, I'd have to redo the whole game since my stats read 100%

At least I think he is talking about SR4. It might be Gat out of Hell. Hard to tell context where I pulled that from. I assume you guys would know from the words he used. It has been too long since I played SR4 to remember.

Yeah, I just saw that when I checked to see how much of Ronin I still need to complete. That'll be pretty helpful. So far I've used followers on just one of the Ronin missions. Overall the game is pretty easy but the one where you had to shoot down the helicopter took quite a few tries. I didn't realize you were supposed to shoot it down so I'd just sit there and fight wave after wave of bad guys on my own and eventually they'd kill me.

 
I've used the Vita browser on occasion.  I've been on here, gamefaqs and Best Buy without issues.  If I am stuck on a game, it's uber convenient to be able to pause the game and head to the browser to find a guide.  Not sure how well it works with video.  I never used the You Tube app.  It's very rare for me to go on Youtube on anything other than a PC.

When I was on a trip once, I tried to use the browser in the Vita to open up the guide for the game I was playing to switch back and forth like you mention. It didn't work worth a shit. It would not keep the page in memory and would reload and lose my spot on the page every time I would go back to the game. Maybe it was just due to that guide having a lot of images, but it rendered it useless.

That's what I was talking about. It's pretty terrible. The only use for the thing is to log in and accept the usage agreement for public wifi. Which is a great reason for it to exist even in crappy form.

Yeah that service sucked balls. Had a free trial and could barely use it on my phone. I do like that you can use the new service while you're playing games to make your own soundtrack.

I never tried it on the phone but it did have a pretty damn good selection when I was streaming from work a while back. Then my free trial ended and it wasn't worth the high monthly fee to me.

Not sure exactly what that means. Maybe I'm not far enough into the game.

But no way I'll have time to 100% the game before I trade it in this week, so not a big deal to me personally.

Once they add it to the Vita it will be useful when playing games with headphones on. They'd better add it to the Vita!

 
Man this library stuff is tits, I have lbp3, shadow of mordor and tekken tag 2 on hold and I found south park stick of truth and killer is dead today! They have like 300 games with short (1-5 people) wait lists.

And for some reason this library has a 3d printer and a green screen with macs+video editing software available to use.

Our Library only has T and under games and the collection is pretty limited. Like they have Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures 2, but only for Wii U. Still, at least they do have PS4 games unlike Redbox.

Sadly no libraries around me carry games... but Redbox does carry PS4 games here! :p

However game rental prices have jumped... 3.05 after taxes per day! And people thought PS Now prices were bad!

I just don't know how Red Box has any game rental business. I understand the instant gratification piece, but compared to Gamefly prices, it is a joke. I used it once to rent Walking Dead because I knew I could finish it in a day and had a free coupon.

I've used the You Tube app for a couple of the later levels on Stealth Inc. Had no problem with it. Used the browser when I was playing P4 Golden. Had no problem switching (paging?) back and forth either.

Not complaining about the selection as it was quite good. Complaining about how I would try to look at the available music and it wouldn't search at all 41 out of 42 times. You can have every damn song in the universe, but it does me no good if I can't see or listen to them.

Enter a Daily Int’l Tournament and complete the round.



This is the only online trophy in the game and it requires an online pass. To obtain the trophy, participate in the Daily Int’l Tournament and finish the round. It doesn’t matter how you place. The trophy will pop at the end of the round.

You'll need to send me a list of the ones you need and be online at the time. I can only send 5 at one time. If you need more than that, you have to download those before I send the next five. I do not have my Vita with me so it would have to be tonight at the earliest.

I'm in the middle of finishing up Smart As right now and I read somewhere (might have been the trophy guide) that you can register your router with Skyhook under a different city and you'll be able to pull up new challenges without having to wait. I haven't messed with it because I only need a few more to be done with it, but it might come in handy for those that haven't started it yet.
