The new thread format will be a work in progress but this first post will be the promos that are active and useful information, but also wikified. Is there a high chance these tiv's will drop tomorrow? I wanna trade in some games like sleeping dogs destiny and lbp3 but I gotta move that credit back to bestbuy

I used eBay last month the for the first time in literally years and years. I went with someone with a high rating and ordered a "refurbished Xbox 360 controller for PC from GameStop" in GS packaging and all. But the controller was in awful condition and certainly GS would have never allowed that product. It was dirty and the left stick got stuck. It even came packaged in an empty Crackerjack box padded with a single plastic grocery bag.

When I tried returning it, seller made me take pictures of the bar code to make sure I wasn't scamming. Fair enough, I thought. Then he wrote me back saying it wasn't the same controller (surprise, surprise) and thn called me all these names.

Thankfully eBay was prompt in helping me and just decided to give me back my money. The seller wrote me again "congratulating" me for my successful scam. Ass. He lives in the same state and now knows my address. Yeah, NEVER AGAIN.

However ebay does fail in one category - not being able to leave negative feedback. Maybe that would have stopped me from buying from him.

And now with all these Nintendo scalpers, my hatred for eBay sellers is at an all-time high. If you're a legit seller, use Amazon.

Yeah, I mean eBay, not the sellers. I'm actually primarily a seller on eBay. (A good one, not the lying piece of filth you dealt with.) Early last year I started selling a whole lot. Before that, I sold very little and always used stamps and no tracking. A handful of parasitic trash opened up Item Not Received cases since I had no tracking and before that, I didn't know that sellers could do that. So the bastards gave me a bunch of negatives and opening the cases pretty much killed my Dedicated Seller Ratings. They're currently still in the toilet and there's nothing I can do at the moment to increase them. It resulted in eBay putting all kinds of regulations on my account with, most recently, preventing me from using the Global Shipping Program. I've already sold to some Canada buyers, but I cannot ship to them, putting me in hot water with them. So yes, I loathe and despise eBay itself.

 
I used a 30% extra trade in bonus coupon from my expired PUR account, I have 2 accounts, not sure where it came from, I ended up getting $56 for MK8 and Hyrule Warriors, traded in a PS4 and a bunch of other games to come out with $804 of GS credit, I have a 20% off the purchase of up to 5 items in that account, I plan to try to buy 5x $50 kindle cards with, anyone have this coupon? I don't know where these mystery coupons showed up from lol

So my gamestop credit card transactions finally updated and it shows that I paid $23 for wolfenstein last week and returned it for $42 this week since it's not on sale anymore. Now I only have $23 to pay off since I bought a $42 game before that. Does this usually happen or was it just a mistake the employee did and could I be screwed if they find out?
 
Might have to trade in my PS4 and rebuy next week, $55 for a new system, warranty, controller, TLOU, and a year of PS Plus is a pretty decent deal.

There's no way to switch the extended warranty purchased from PSN. These people talking about warranty are on the Sony 1-year manufacturer warranty.

Would this current 50% system trade bonus be the best way to get ride of my DS Lite? Might switch to New 3DS XL soon. And can trade credit be used to buy cards for PSN credit?

Yes. Right now is your best bet for trading in a DS Lite since promos like this rarely pop-up, especially when the only requirement is to have a PUR membership(Free or Paid). Also yes. Trade Credit can be used on anything in the store.

 
Forza Horizon 2 held today. Considering trading it in because it would be like a free rental that I got to play for a few months but on the other hand it's a fuck ing good racing game and has a shit ton of content, even after reaching the finale.

Dayuuuum. I'm stoked that they sent me an extra 30% trade in coupon now. I only have 1 game to use it on, but I'll still be getting a ridiculous amount for the $10 copy of Alien I bought.
 
I hope the bumps in value last beyond this weekend.  The console promo is just temporary since it's being communicated as such.  I think the games are set like this for now. 

 
Ended up just trading in the not for resale lbp3 for $33. Thought of trading in destiny for $27 but I doubt it would be go on sale for $30 at bestbuy any time soon. I need some time to think about how I can flip that gs credit to bb this week.
 
i havent followed this thread lately, but i wanted to share that i just traded in Tomb Raider definitive edition for xbox one for $15 base, when i know it was only $10 base a few days ago.  Well worth it, especially with the 360 version free right now.

also worth checking half price books and even disc replay.

Picked up Twlight Princess at half price for $12 which is $22 at GS

Picked up a copy of NCCA 14 at disc replay for $20 and its worth $33 at GS

 
You may want to hold on to your copies of NCAA Football 14 until football season. I sold a Xbox 360 copy a few months ago for ~$80.

I have a $20 off used game in my active offers and a $10 off used game in my active offers of my other PUR account....havent  redeemed points this year.  Anyone have any idea where those came from?
