First of all, props to you guys that are able to stalk the Steam discussion boards like that. It seems like someone is always right on top of it as soon as a developer starts slinging the bullshit about not handing out keys.
It looks like I'm in limbo, having bought the game via Indie Gala Monday Bundle 21. I'm glad you all were able to nudge them towards distributing keys to the site, but I'm really saddened that -- yet again -- they choose to go down that road. Further proof that developers mostly make shitty PR people and have no business interacting with the general public. Look at the language he used:
"The following bundles or stores are not awarded with Steam keys"
Well, excuse me, but he's posting in a public forum to people that paid money for those bundles, and speaking to an entity that is not even present (Indie Gala). I am not a bundle or a store, but a customer. If he has a dispute with the store with which he entered into contract, then he should be talking to them directly. Not in a passive-aggressive way on a public forum in which he is holding his own customers hostage. We are not negotiating tools, and I resent being used as one.
I will wait patiently for my keys as the card market tanks. I will idle your stupid game for my cards. Then I will turn them into gems so that (hopefully) he gets zero percent from the non-sale of said cards.
And then I will banish your game into backlog hell.
