Almost the same here.

My main account is an EU account and my plus is on a seperate US account (which I only us to download plus games).

 
One test:
 
Play online in two consoles with the same account. in the first a phamton account, the resell in the other console. if one is locked, the online access makes license checkout.

Account 1: Demo of Citizens Of Earth. PS+ trial membership, all settings for auto download/backup turned OFF- Works

After sleep mode- Works

After shutdown- Works

Try turning auto update on and leaving in rest mode for 12+ hours
 
I don't know if this is possible but here is a idea i had.

If it's possible to monitor the outgoing and ingoing internetsignals from the ps4 and compare it with a license check of a phantom.

You hook it up to pc  via router maybe? Then go on a phantom account and check what internet information is being sent and recieved.
Then leave the ps4 in rest mode for a long periode of time and check if the signals are also sent in rest mode. 
Could be Sony is now license checking all accounts on a ps4.

What is the word on the other gamesharing forum that is mentioned here from time to time

Probably not, considering it isn't happening to everyone

 
2 of my 3 phantoms are now locked. They weren't a couple of hours ago. My most recent phantom which I added 2 days ago had a passcode on the account. This PS4 doesn't have my main as primary on it, so no Plus features should be enabled. I feel for you all who lost big money phantoms. All 3 of mine only totaled about 10 bucks, so it's not a huge loss like some of you have experienced.

My setup is as follows.

Start download of phantom.
Sign out of PSN via Network/Account Manager
Turn off PS4, not rest mode
Turn on PS4, Main is on auto login

So far, no locked phantoms.

Granted I haven't bought a phantom since 2.50

If I had to guess Sony may have done something on the backend that clears the first activation (phantom) license. Be it intentional or not, who knows!

This is how i do it too

 
I just sign into phantom. Start download. Sign out of phantom and sign into my account. Wait for download to finish and play. I only have two phantoms but they are still working as of tonight. Tlou and risk.

Why turn it off after starting download? If your main automatically comes up, instead of choosing power off, choose log out of ps4 and it'll automatically take you to your main

 
All my phantoms are gone too, they were working an hour ago and I shut the ps4 down completely as I have been the past few days. I lost so many games, a good amount of which I bought in the past month

This is the end of gamesharing. I'm fucking pissed. It looks like Sony has caught on and is manually banning accounts (it was only a matter of time with how many people were just carefree about spreading info on how to create phantoms thinking there would be no blowback if the wrong ppl found out - this caused an uprising in people selling accounts on ebay and such)

If this was a hardware/software thing it would affect everyone at the same time, wouldn't be just randomly doing it for people relating to shutting down the console a certain way or anything. I mean, it's possible but incredibly unlikely it's a software thing, I think sony is just manually doing this.

Anyone who this hasn't affected, disconnect your PS4 from the internet if you want to save your phantoms.

All 13+ of my phantoms still work, no rest mode although I did use it once after playing bloodborne. 

They might be just going down a list and I will get hit soon, hopefully not though.

I believe what is fucking up phantoms is the automatic save upload. 

Prior to losing my phantoms, I had notifications of failed upload attempts, so me being smart went into the PS+ cloud and deleted older saves/games in order to create more room for my newer games ( bloodborne, BL THC ) and the following morning my phantoms didn't work.

I'd advise on turning this feature off, as I believe this is what is causing it.

Not sure how it's linked to gamesharing but it's the only explanation as to why I lost my phantoms

yeah my evolve update failed to download today, so deleted the game as i didnt enjoy it

disabled auto save uploading and auto downloading updates

I haven't lost any games and I have my automatic downloads and uploads turned on, always use rest mode, and have used suspend/resume. At this point, I just view it as random.

 
Guys, Sony has an story of being a mf in the past. Back in the days of the CD piracy, they put a rootkit in every CD. Now I am sure after this update, they turned the ps4 in an always on digital media device. So they can validate often the licenses of the games. This is happening to only a few because it is a testing, but they probably go over everyone who had phantoms and deactivated them remotely.
At the end, they have their right to do it, because we "said" we were going to use our license in other system, but we were trying to keep alive the license in the previous one. So the bad guys here are us. The bad thing is that this is a shaddy matter and nobody is going to complaint with Sony directly.
So the only solution I see is to go offline to save your games and start trading accounts like if they were DVDs, deactviating from the console and transfering the rights to another user.

Sony is going to stop getting money, but it seems they dont care.

This is crazy, because I had the feeling they were promoting the GS with things like the crossbuy on the las COD and Destiny, which was the paradise for a lot of people. But things turned out now.

Lets see whats their next move

It is the same over there. A few people have been reporting lost shares, but most have not.
