yup, I won't get the season pass immediately but i'll keep an eye on it. It's basically like Battlefield Premium, and i'm guessing it'll also go on sale like premium does.

 
The NXE is a mess. I disliked the old interface, but this is a huge step back. For cheap ass hoarders like us the my games list is no different, except now it's harder to find. I wish you could at least sort the games by completion percentage, but the side scrolling through 100+ games is full retard.

Crossing my fingers for Wildenstein at $5 in tonight's sale.

I do agree that that the games list needs to be modified or recreated. As far as finding it though, I think you can hit your right trigger and it takes you to your pins, which (at least in my case) has the games and apps app pinned there in the first slot.

I'm just hoping for a good sale tonight. I'd love to get Dead Rising 3 Super Duper Omega Alpha Something Something Something DLC for less than 10.

Agree. I was disappointed to see that they had done very little to change how My Games and Apps looks. At least give us a few grid-based options (two rows of tiles, three rows of tiles, etc.)

I heard, but it was strange to me that it showed up on xbox.com and not TA. I thought TA scanned xbox.com. When there are issues with GFWL games where achievement pops are issues you always check xbox.com to see if it really popped and TA wouldn't catch it until it was on xbox.com. TA has scanned me three times since then and the achievement I unlocked an hour earlier in Project Spark scanned.

When Project Spark changed their achievements I had a bunch of those "Done!...Unlocking.." ones, but they slowly popped.

Yeah, I'd like some sort options or filters, like separating games on disc and what can I play off the HD without getting my ass off the couch. I have hundreds of 360 games on disc. It would be a headache just to flip thru them like this to get to the ones on the HD. At least mark them so I know. How about tags for friends. It would be nice to tag people with games I play with them or if they're from CAG or TA, etc or sort them so I could find real life friends easier than alphabetical searches. Favorites is a start.

That's all I've been getting. I've done it 4 times hoping it'll be something better, but I just keep unlocking the Vengeance Assault Rifle Skin. I think other people at GameFAQS have been saying they've unlocked armor. I might try it with a different gamertag e-mail and see if I get something else.

Hm. I haven't had to use my email or gt. I just loaded it up and "watched" the videos. I'll let you know if I get something else. Armor would be MUCH better.
 
Don't care how much the SP is, I'm keeping my SW:BF digital pre-order. The stuff in the demo was a lot of fun and there were plenty of modes still locked. I'll get the SP down the road or when the gold edition comes out in a year. Preordered RotTR, too. Will probably pick up BlOps3 at some point when the disc gets cheaper. Otherwise, it's just DLC and date night cheap buys for me through the end of the year.

And with Halo 5, Battlefront and Rise of the Tomb Raider quickly approaching, I gotta chill.

I tried playing split-screen with my cousin in Borderlands 2 and Gears Remastered a few weeks back and it felt so awkward. I can't play like that anymore personally. Stay your ass at home and jump online with me so we can both have a full screen to ourselves. If I had kids I'd probably have to make an exception though.

Also, did you see the trailer this morning?

I just know Microsoft knows this is a make or break series so they are dumping cash into it.
 
Almost never pre-order anything anymore but I think I am going to do Halo 5.  With the free map DLC and its most likely long term trade value it seems like a safe bet at $48 +$10 cert at BBY.

I just got 100% in it a few weeks ago....I'd say you gotta play it for yourself to really know for sure. Everyone told me it was the worst thing since terrorism but I ended up finding some enjoyment in it. Take that with a grain of salt though, because I also love shit like Deadpool and Ryse, two games which get a bad rap all the time.

Don't expect the story to make 1/8th of a fvck of sense, though. I beat the game twice and still had no idea what was going on at the end.

They fail often on PC I've heard, but I've had mine on Xbox One for over a year with no problems. Most of my friends have the same one as me and got from the same sale with no issues either.
 
Yes, I'm excited for Halo 5. Not just cause I'm a fan, but the game was and looks fun as hell. Also, I could give a shit less about split screen. It's an oit of place concept that I no longer need or want. I'd honestly would rather sit at home, in my boxers, and not have to entertain people.

In stress testing seagates have a higher fail rate (meaning your data is gone and it won't store things anymore) Any hard drive can fail but when they ran them under pressure Western Digital seemed to do better than Seagate. All hard drives with moving parts will eventually fail.

Eh, I've used them almost exclusively because of price and never had one fail. If you look at site's that actually know what they're doing and try to do simulations between them the WD drives come out a little better but they're usually close enough that it falls into the range of doubt from small sample size. WD usually has the better warranties and better reputation though and Seagate usually goes for price. Both companies have basically swallowed all competitors over the last 5 years so you're not even strictly getting what you would expect based on the label these days.

Any important data should have a redundant back up on a different device and game saves should make use of the cloud storage.

I agree with the beginning but completely disagree with split screen being an outdated concept, if anything it's more relevant these days. I have a wife who games, my cousin plays with his oldest daughter all the time and I'm certain more and more families have more than a single gamer and would probably enjoy playing with one another without buying a second tv, system and game.

I'm going to go ahead and jinx us and say I want this as well. I just finished my DR3 Apocalypse Edition from BF except the last episode of the season pass glitched and I need to do a speed run thru that one again to finish it.
 
Its outdated cause it ruins the full experience of newer games. You cant have 1080, 60fps with using the full screen.

Sucks you cant get another console/tv, but I'd rather have gaming companies focus on making the best game possible and not ruin the integrity of the game by forcibly adjusting things to make split screen work.
