I never tried Fallout 3. I thought maybe I needed to play Fallout 1 and 2 first, but I guess those are not even on Xbox.

What about New Vegas? Is it suggested to play that before/after Fallout 3 or 4?

New Vegas you can play whenever. You'll get a little more out of it if you play 3 first, but after you play New Vegas you'll probably not want to play 3 because 3 is a worst game story-wise.

And you'll probably not want to play them back to back. They're just too big for that to really be much fun.

I've never played Fallout 3. And I have it on disc and digital. The thought of this huge, open world game consuming dozens of hours has been my main deterrent from playing. Same mindset with Skyrim, Borderlands, Dark Souls, GTA V, Dragon Age, Lost Odyssey, Saints Row IV, etc......The backlog is huge my fellow CAGs

I didn't like it either. The doomy atmosphere and the endless yellow/brown sludge of the graphics made it feel really oppressive-- which I realize is partly something they were going for, but for me it didn't make it fun to play. Also I hated the UI and a lot of the gameplay mechanics like weapons degrading and needing to be repaired were just super annoying to me. It's a little weird because I loved Skyrim (and to a slightly lesser extent Oblivion) and I realize that the games are all very mechanically similar. So I actually think that the streamlined/updated UI and less oppressive atmosphere of Fallout 4 might just do the trick for me. I'm looking forward to it.

 
Those that were complaining about CAGs being rightfully upset with receiving a partial GWG freebie remind me of the people who go around saying "WHO CARES?!?!" as they raise their hands and roll their eyes. There's obviously people who DO care as they voiced their dissatisfaction and induced change since the VIP Pass became free. Those individuals probably don't comprehend the larger picture as others have pointed out, that it can become the norm going forward and gimp other freebies. Who knows, it could actually be a game they one day care about that hasn't been spliced into pieces and have those "complainers/whiners" to thank.

Unsung heroes remain unsung I guess. I for one, would like to commend those who had a voice and shared their displeasure with the crap business model Codemasters/Microsoft snuck in. I truly believe us speaking up and something as simple as expressing your opinion on the internet led to this change.

Dark Souls isn't really big. It's just connected so well that it tricks you into thinking it's a much longer journey.
 
Anyone here ever use Banana Play Store to purchase XBL cards (or the such) before? They seem to have some good reviews, but was just curious if any CAGs have ever used it?  12 months of XBL for $33 seems like a steal to me though! Here's the link that I was using?

I've only been on Xbox Live since around this time last year but I still haven't played a game online against anyone yet. Hence, I didn't get pissed about Dirt 3. Just chucked it into the backlog as I have with most of the other GWG offerings.

If people didn't complain, eventually we'd get a game with singleplayer removed.

Fallout and Battlefront next week. Still need to play Halo 5, but always rented out. The first episode of Ash vs. Evil Dead is free to watch with the Starz app on Xbox One. Not bad for a pilot. Some really good practical and cg effects. Then there is plenty of worse than Syfy (Is this really how they've been spelling it?) Channel cg that makes the rest look bad. I'm hoping that was just a pilot thing and it gets better later. Watch the "making of" at the end. Only 2 minutes and shows how some of the effects that I thought were cg, were actually practical and looked really good. Story is bad and acting is purposefully cheesy (or at least I hope it is purposeful).

Ever see Evil Dead 1 or 2 or Army of Darkness? I haven't watched ep 1 yet, but I had an idea it would cheesy B movie style like the original movies cause that was it's schtick, partially because the first two were B movies.

Yeah, took them hours to fix because it was done on purpose and therefore was easily "fixable." It wasn't a mistake which would have taken longer to find and fix. A day of people being upset about an issue and letting them know that the consumers didn't approve was what it took.

For reference, AT&T had the 535 for the pay as you go plan for $9.99 not long ago. Not sure about the differences, but judging by model numbers I believe the 535 would be seen as better. Should be more sales on this level of phone in the upcoming shopping season. That said it's just ten bucks either way and the 520 would be a good way to play wp games cheap, too. FYI, 535 has 512 mb in the at&t version while other carriers have 1gb.

Anyone know where to find the leaderboard for GS on NXOE? That was actually one of the features that I liked having front and center on the old UI.

Not trying to be offensive with this comment but since there is a 100 player limit on the Halo 5 Spartan companies if any of you that are in it have traded in the game or never plan to play again if you could drop out of the company. I would really like to keep it a list of people who are in CAG and have the game to keep it an active community.

Not long until Black Ops 3, for us in Italy the midnight launch is just over 25 hours away. Can't wait for this one, Treyarch seems to keep on delivering, so I've also got my digital deluxe version pre-loaded for tomorrow. Can't wait.

Holy shit, I looked at my tracking for codblorps - 14 lbs. Makes me wonder how much it would cost to ship if I sell it. I want it, but it's not sensible currently. Not when there's Fallout next week.

In for Warzone as well. Be nice to get good use of the legendary dmr I've got.

I booted Gedemer today since he got rid of the game. Had a request from somebody wanting to join - so we are still at 100.
And I, too, am keeping it forever. I'd be down for Warzone anytime (tonite, Friday, whatever). I'm on most every night around 10pm EST.

EDIT: Me and MrshllJcb aka studentoftruth play several times a week. Phil and Larry are usually on when we are playing. We have sent them many invites - neither have accepted. One day. One day.

Can any Silver members confirm that Infinity Runner and Volgarr show up as half off, or some other discount, for you?  Major Nelson's blog marks them as on sale for both Gold and Silver, and the Sales and Specials page marks them as a Spotlight Sale, but Infinity Runner's page shows me "Enjoy your special Gold member discount," which usually indicates a Gold exclusive price.  I got Volgarr as GwG, so I just see already purchased there.  Thanks.

 
Forgot to cancel my PS4 Juggernog from Target that I got in case I couldn't get the X1 Juggernog and I finally scored a X1 version from zoolert from Target so now I have 2 Juggernogs coming and I have to take one back lol
