Got copies of bloodborne and ffx from redbox. Both in good condition and not pieces of paper, two less things to grab from bby this year. Also traded in traded in a bunch of stuff to gs with their bonus there's a few things with solid values.

Does it go out of its way to gross you out like their other one did? #selfimpalementthroughtheeye

Brother made this for me, picture doesn't fully do it justice. It's a shadow box mosaic thing with different dimensions, made of little square rocks as pixels.

Lords of the Fallen looks better than I expected, but if the Complete Edition is already $19.99 when it released just 3 weeks ago, there's always the chance it'll be even cheaper later on. :whistle2:k

It's always embarrassing when, at 37 years old, I let a troll get under my skin. I got through wave 10 of a zat horde map with randoms, had the high score and all the medals and 2 of the 3 disconnected. The third one decided to glitch out of the map so he couldn't be hurt and hold the game hostage. I asked him if he wouldn't mind dying so we could move on and naturally I started getting the snarky comments as he slowly picked away at zombies taking over my score. So I had to kill the game (being the host) and abandon those two sweet trophies in the process. Dickwad.

You are more likely to die driving to work.

This Alan dude on Double Dare (the 1970s game show with Alex Trebek) is so strange! But he's good.

Also I had no idea Trebek had hosted shows besides Jeopardy!

You never saw him host Classic Concentration? I used to love that show when I was a kid. The NES version was also fun.

Oh shit I do now. That was the game with the crazy pictures that spelled out phrases right, and they were hidden behind panels or something?
There was one puzzle that was something like snake charmer. I tried to post it once awhile ago because it's a classic blooper. I'll have to find it now.

Edit: It actually wasn't a classic concentration episode but rather a show called catch phrase.

I thought it was that show too.

Pro-tip: Do not search for "Classic Concentration masturbation" without safe search on.

I'm trying to post the clip but I have even less options in windows 10 than I had before. Nothing will post, not even a link.

I probably already borked my character. Put points in charm and intimidate, since I dig playing suave, diplomatic characters in games with dialogue (why I loved Alpha Protocol and especially New Vegas so much).

Frustration, ahoy!

Today's 10 cent rentals: Pitch Perfect 2, Ex Machina, Inception, Groundhog Day, Office Space, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Great Gatsby, E.T., Devil Wears Prada, and Enter the Dragon.

Finished up with the Dwarf normal campaign and stopped just short of the final boss with the sorceress and the Elf.

Elf looks like maybe it would shine better in later modes when you can fully attribute skill points, but it seemed pretty weak and I didn't like that you have such limited arrow ammunition. It's a thief type character and I guess I don't have the patience for that.

The Sorceress is actually more of a dark cleric type character. The wizard has a few utility spells, but is mostly all offense. The sorceress is about equally split between utility and damage dealing. She has the ability to create food which not only heals you, but allows you to overfill your health. She has a shield spell which reduces knock back and limits damage for all allies. She can turn enemies to stone or turn them into frogs, or create a gravity well to suck in enemies.

After not liking the fighter I had a lot of fun with the Dwarf. Whereas the Fighter is mostly helpless after doing his earth slam move while he waits for 10 seconds before he can pick up his weapon again, the dwarf has a lot of other options. His signature move is grabbing enemies and throwing them. If you pump up the power bomb skill, the damage caused by impacts increases and the resulting area of impact also increases. So you can smash your hammer into the ground (which calls down lightning from the sky) and while waiting to pick up your weapon, you can pick up enemies and toss them around for lots of damage.

He's also part pyro as he has skills which generate explosives as well improve their damage. So while waiting you can also chuck bombs or explosive barrels. I mixed a damage up potion with 3 barrels (and NPC allies) and killed the final boss in 59 seconds in normal (the trophy requires 2 minutes) that's 46 seconds faster than the wizard. He also has two defensive skills, a passive skill which decreases how often he is stunned by attacks, and a short buff with infinite uses which greatly decreases damage taken.

That leaves just the amazon to play around with, though after reading up on it I don't think it's something I will enjoy. The lower your Hp, the higher your damage and parrying requires preciseness which I'm not sure how that is going to be possible given how chaotic the screen can get.

I forgot about that. Gross! Don't forget about the car door smashing either. So far no crazy violence. Luke Cage is cool though.

Guess I'll give Office Space another shot. When I tried watching it I think I hadn't really had a job yet and wasn't paying much attention. I'm sure I can appreciate the humor now with my work experience.

I still haven't gotten used to the fact that Amazon charges me tax now. I'll see the price jump at checkout and think "WTF" and then remember. They're still usually cheaper than anywhere else, but it's not as sweet of a deal as it used to be.

Does anyone know how to redeem a Hulu code on an existing account? The FAQ says there should be a code redemption page under your account but I don't see it. My auto-pay is in a couple days and I just got the code so I wanna use it before I get charged again.

I see it on my account page right under the personal information section. FWIW, I have a free account, so that may be why you can't see it.

I think I'm finally going to dip my toe in the Mass Effect waters. I have a dilemma, though. I've seen nearly everywhere (including here) that the voice actress for female Sheppard is superior to the male Sheppard's VA. It'd allow me to play as something other than myself (or what I'd want to be if I were a space marine or whatever), but how could I be a woman?! And what if I romanced a man?
There are lesbian romance options. They're more restricted than the straight romance options, but there's 1 is ME1, 3 in ME2, and 4 in ME3.

3:43 AM and already most of my Black Friday shopping is done thanks to the Early Access deals from Best Buy. So far added 6 games to my PS4 backlog...
Just two more so far for me. New Blood and Mad Max. Will have to scroll through the thread and figure out what that scrap glitch was for Mad Max. If you order from the mobile app it wasn't giving me GCU so had to fire up the laptop to order.

Until Dawn was still full price. Wouldn't mind getting the plat on that and flipping it back but might just try to get it from Redbox again.

I think it was patched, but just in case, make sure to have 500+ scrap when you start the main mission Wasteland Classic (IIRC) in which you have to build a special car to progress through the story.

Not everything I want from Best Buy for BF has its pricing live yet (Borderlands: HC, Until Dawn, and Person of Interest S4 on Blu-ray), but I got Diablo III UEE, Dishonored DE and FFX/X-2, so those are done.
