I am only Elite and am getting the free expedited shipping. Supposedly will have my two games on Wednesday.

Probably last year for Elite. I am almost $1000 short and if I buy a TV it probably won't be from BB this year. Nice while it lasted.
My Elite Plus status expires in February (haven't traded in or bought enough to qualify for another year), but there's always the chance Best Buy will give out memberships at random like they've done the past couple of years.

Perhaps. I thought they more or less did away with that last year. If I get it great if not no big deal. I will either buy less cheap games from them or buy them in store only. Shipping kills the deal and all that.

Good find on that Buzzr channel, Tyler!  (also good job getting older yesterday)

I used to watch the shit out of the Game Show Network and it was one of my favorite channels.

Started Monster Monpiece last night and the card game is pretty fun.  I don't really understand what's going on in the main story (and don't really care either).  Seems pretty easy to figure out, but managing all the cards you get can seem overwhelming.

Any of you kool kids interested in playing some Monster Monpiece online this week?  Tried to find a match last night and there was absolutely nothing in any of the lobbies.

Bloodborne DLC reviews:

Destructoid (7.5/10): http://www.destructoid.com/review-bloodborne-the-old-hunters-320746.phtml

I might sound down on a lot of aspects of The Old Hunters, but ultimately, it will satiate most fans out there. The fact that it was supposed to be two DLCs that were merged into one makes sense, as part of it feels like cut content, and the other half seems like wholly original work. While I'm glad I had an excuse to drop into the world of Yharnam once again, there's a part of me that feels disappointed that this will be the last, and only add-on for Bloodborne.
IGN (8/10): http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/11/23/bloodborne-the-old-hunters-review

The Old Hunters is another shot in the arm of the same serum that coursed through Bloodborne’s veins. Though diehards may pillage its secrets quickly, my approximate 15 hours spent delving its depths and gleefully employing each new destructive tool felt satisfyingly dense. The Old Hunters is an impressive return to From Software’s oppressive and rewarding universe, and while it retreads much of the same path, it’s very much a path worth taking.
Gamespot (9/10): http://www.gamespot.com/reviews/bloodborne-the-old-hunters-review/1900-6416316/

There’s beauty in both success and failure in Bloodborne. A one-second lapse in concentration can place you at the receiving end of a fatal combo but if you can maintain a persistent presence of mind, a triple-digit killstreak is not unheard of. Being tested by new foes in these new lands is an unquestionable joy, as is the ability to bring these newfound armaments and treasures into the main game. The Old Hunters is Bloodborne from another time and place, and with more difficult bosses and confounding stories to unravel, it's a fitting complement to the original, gruesome adventure.

Fixed my cart issue. I never sign out of any of my accounts, and apparently adding an item to my cart at home and then going to work caused some kind of glitch from the discrepancy; adding an item to a local empty cart and then syncing with the BB server which showed a cart with an item already in it apparently doesn't work correctly. Figured it out when I noticed my cart was showing 0 items here at work. Once I logged out and back in it refreshed properly and allowed me to add items again.

Still not showing elite prices, so I guess that's just gone now. Dammit.

Did you check Mild's link to confirm your Elite status/non-status?

What game or games aren't showing the pricing for you? I can log in and check. I put the three games I was considering last night in my cart on the phone app. One (Until Dawn) isn't live with the pricing. The other two updated to the BF price but without GCU.

There was nothing that said elite aside from the 3 tabs for My Benefits. It says "Your Status" over my Best Buy rather than over elite. I'm guessing it would be over the elite tab if I were still a member of the elite club.

I'm pretty sure it used to say elite at the top right of that page, in the same area where it says the GCU expiration date. Nothing there now.

I added Dishonored to my BF 2015 list just to have something easy to check, since Vig confirmed earlier that it was at BF pricing for him. It's still sitting at $40. I don't actually want any games from BB, it was just for the purpose of checking the price.

My account shows "Your Status" over Elite Plus, so...

Sounds like you aren't Elite. Join the club!

I guess you aren't Elite or Elite Plus anymore like all us cool kids.

Dishonored is showing $14.99 early access right now. That is before GCU.

Is there any point for a non-PS4, Vita owner to get a PSTV?  Besides to play Vita games in another room on the TV?

Like I can't actually play local co-op on things right?  I'm tempted to bite at $20 so my son can play some games with me, or maybe just to get that last trophy for the Foul Play plat.

I may end up returning mine. I'm tempted to keep it to play some Vita games I'm interested in, but I'll have to buy a memory card and I can't even find the time to play the games I already have. I forgot you can't use the Netflix app on it without hacking it until I was reminded in here, which was the main reason I bought the thing.

You dont need a PS4 to play Vita games on a big TV. They look like ass but if your home why not play on a big screen instead of looking down at a tiny Vita? I enjoyed playing Dead Nation on PSTV more so than the small Vita screen. But no, I couldnt play local co op between my Vita and PSTV.

The PSTV makes even less sense than I realized, and that's saying a lot.

I'm kind of guessing that Zimm may not have a large TV either. Regardless, I always play the Vita while watching something else on TV. It is one of the main reasons my PS TV hardly ever gets used.

You could boost that Monster Monpiece game online by yourself.

My downstairs TV is decent at 37", but I'd probably use the PSTV on the upstairs one thats only 25". So either option isn't that exciting. I usually Vita while watching TV also, which is a PSTV would defeat the purpose of.

Sounds more and more like I don't need one.

I mostly use my PSTV for ps4 remote play. I think I've booted up a vita game maybe once? I mostly bought it for potential vita streaming/recording though, but I haven't gotten around to trying that yet lol.

Mine is connected to the bedroom TV. I pretty much never use it. Some day I will move it to the living room TV and remote play off the TV in the basement (whenever I finally get a large TV for the basement). But for Vita games I haven't played an hour with it.

Last time I hit elite was because my sister bought a new laptop on my account. I think I'll see how that laptop is doing and maybe suggest a replacement.

Yeah I have only played Dead Nation on PSTV so I guess its only good for shit like that.  However I find it amusing you guys watch TV while playing Vita because unless your pulling a Mild and just hitting one button over and over you cant really watch tv and play a game at the same time.  Your missing the action on one or the other since its impossible to listen to and look at two things at once.  I find when "watching" tv while playing Vita I miss everything unless I pause the game when the commercials are over and vice versa.

I do not watch something like TWD or one of the HBO shows while playing Vita unless I am doing a Visual Novel. I'll watch stuff like Face-Off or The Ultimate Fighter or a non-Gator football game while playing a game that needs my attention since the majority of the time I do not focus on those shows anyway.

You have got to stop looking for ways to spend $10-$20 on useless shit and fuck ing buy a PS4!

JRPGS are good to play during TV time. Turn based combat and a lot of generally not paying much attention unless you hit a cutscene. I usually play them while doing other things. Anything action based is a no go though.

Which is my point. You could play on PSTV if you wanted to since your not really watching those other shows anyway. Either way, just saying.
