The Minions metalpack at Target now has a 40% off Cartwheel coupon, so you can get it for cheaper than the release price.

The store had a ton of these at release, so there should still be some around the store by this point.

Yeah, I think mine still has some. Like most it didn't have the 3D which is understandable but the novelty curved top ultimately kept me from getting it.

 
Hateful Eight steelbook is now down to $24.99 at Best Buy, which will likely be the release price.  Still $5 more than the standard Blu-Ray.  I miss the days when the exclusives were the same price as the standard releases.

 
In case people didn't see it in the standalone thread, the Deadpool SB is sold out at Best Bu, as the item page is showing "This item is no longer available":

This is what happened with Ant-Man last time, which did come back in stock randomly a couple of times before it released.

Also, Hateful Eight is no longer showing available for shipping, though that's semi-normal since it comes out next week.   Pre-order for in-store pickup are now showing as an option:

My pre-order from 03/06/16 is still showing the $29.99 price, so it's not auto-adjusted yet.  I'd imagine it should by the weekend, Monday worst-case.

 
I'm getting sick of buying stupid cover art $25 steelbooks on release day for movies I want to own like The Hateful Eight.  It might be time to start rethinking this process and cull the steelbook collection.

I walked into a Best Buy on Tuesday and there was no shortage at all of Mockingjay Pt 2 SB on the shelves, so if you didn't preorder it you can probably still get a copy!

Part of that may have to do with the fact they are being assholes about the price.

Regarding the Hateful Eight steelbook, I believe I read on the BR.com forums that it actually may be fairly limited as stores aren't receiving tons of copies (like the Mockingjay Part 2 steelbook).

CinemaNow was sold late last year, I thinks specre was the last one. Don't expect it it to happen again, at least not with cinemanow.

If you liked Django, then you should like Hateful Eight. It's very dialogue-heavy for most of the movie, though no surprise for a Tarantino movie.

Maybe I'm the contrarian but I really enjoyed Django over Eight. Eight just seemed really slow paced to me.

For reference, I still hold Kill Bill followed by Pulp Fiction/Inglorious Basterds as my top three Tarantino movies. All were fairly fast paced entries IMHO.

 
Can any Target employees here confirm the Teen Titans vs. Justice League steelbook actually exists? I'm always impressed with how apathetic Target is in actually selling it so hopefully someone here can actually confirm a sighting.

Just remember with Batman:Bad Blood we didn't know anything, expect speculation, about a steelbook until the ad leaked the week before (online had nothing up)

Yeah, sorry about implying it was out. I thought it was either today or next week but it's longer. I was just hoping someone had access to Target's OMS and could find a SKU or something. If I recall though, I think Target has history of sharing the same SKU which really turns the whole thing into a snipe hunt.

 
I think I am going to cancel mine and just go with the $25 Target exclusive, kind of pissed I cancelled my regular BB copy when they had the bonus 250 reward zone points with it. Getting that for $20 with a free $5 certificate would have been the way to go.

Edit:

Just saw the Target exclusives packaging and it sucks its like a cardboard sleeve so I might just go with the regular edition.
