This may show my age but Has Been is a must listen. Ben Folds and Shatner are gods on that album.

Yes, Shatner can't sing, ha ha ha ha.

Has Been is still an amazing album. And once you pay attention to the lyrics and realize the songs are really, really personal, it gets even better. Or sadder.

I agree completely. I'm guessing Ben Folds involvement kept this from being a parody of The Shat's earlier "music".

Parody? I mean, when you listen to his, say, Rocket Man, you start by laughing because, Ha! It's Kirk and he's just talking. But that laugh is just at first. His spoken-word presentation of that song actually works. What he's done with other songs works. His vocal patterns are unconventional, but they seem to fit quite well in this context.

It took me a couple of listens and a few more Google searches to realize that “What Have You Done” is about the horrifying death of Shatner’s third wife, Nerine. She was an alcoholic, her drowning in their pool was ruled an accident. “What Have You Done” recounts finding her body, which left Shatner helpless: “My love was supposed to protect her. It didn’t. My love was supposed to heal her. It didn’t.”

I thought "What have you done?" was Shatner's commentary on Yanni Crappuccino's relentless Poopies bundle bowel releases
 
I thought it was a parody of Linkin Park's "What I've Done" inspired by the fact that Linkin Park's one was made around the time they started to suck.

Yea, a new one and just one rerun at a time would be nice. I was actually looking forward to today's reveal and we get this shit. On another hand, they've got to run out of repeats at some point, so hopefully we'll see some better stuff soon.

Uh, well, no, not really. We've seen this arc before. Where it usually ends up is that they figure out that they've run out of stuff they can repeat, the schedule they're currently operating on is unsustainable, and they go back to an intermittent bundle release schedule.

They've literally done this before. But they could always go 180 on us and start doing a Groupees-IG scenario--load up bundles with whatever hot garbage has just come out on Steam or on Greenlight (!) and start churning out the crap bundles by the bucketload.

Who knows?

 
You know, that T-shirt actually looks pretty good. Not $75 good. But if that tier was $20, I might seriously consider buying just for that shirt.

I'm missing The Crew [base]...

Speaking of the monthly bundle... Has anyone gotten the new subscriber price on their normal account? (I have till this month. Cancelling and subscribing again isn't working this time.)

I got it without cancelling and subscribing up through last month. This month I didn't get it. That fits the wording on the coupons I had in that the last one without the "new subscribers only" text was used on the May bundle and all I have left have that new wording.

Yeah, this was the first month they didn't give it to me... Its also the first month I won't buy the bundle since they started the coupon.

It's a bit of a hassle, but if you use multiple (new) accounts to buy bundles on, you can sub to the monthly and make use of the new subscriber coupons.

But if you do that.. make sure not to forget to unsubscribe after each month.

What Motoki said. Plus, it's a pain to have the DRM-free downloads in multiple accounts. That's my main issue with doing that, and I know it's probably the same for Motoki.
