I would have bought that sonic bundle, but I learned that the new best RPG ever is WWE2k16 last night.  sorry humble you need to make that a better price for the second best RPG ever.

Either that or Eggman is up to his typical bullshit again.

Seeing that bundle reminds me of how much I loved Sonic in the '90s. Man oh man was I a stupid kid. Luckily I turned to drugs so everything worked out for me in the long run.

Sonic was a rather solid IP for most of the 90s so I would say you had good taste as a kid.

Maybe your drug use has you confusing the 90s for the 2000s?

Yeah. Hunted: The Demon's Forge has dropped to $6.50 CAD and Rage is $13, for example, so a 75% discount should offer some great prices.

I've started developing a new game just like this, only the obstacles you have to overcome are buying chewing tobacco with food stamps, watching NASCAR every day, Southern Baptism, and loving your cousin despite the fact that she's 14. I've also replaced the giant spider with a picture of Michelle Obama.

Instead of Limbo, I call it Mobile.

 
Speaking of Bethesda, they basically said a few days ago that Skyrim Remastered is the same damned thing we've always had, Skyrim + the (pretty meh) "HD" texture DLC.

Are they going to fuck us PC users over by not giving us a unique +1 in our Steam libraries?!? :whee:

 
I could be wrong, but reading that and reading around a little, I think the PC Remaster will be more than Base+HD Pack but he was responding to console people wanting a free copy for owning Skyrim.  His response is that this is a new game for X1/PS4 (I guess there is no X1/PS4 version now) and so you're buying a new game.  There's an existing Skyrim for the PC so it's an upgrade to that.  Presumably, if Skyrim Remastered could run on your 360 or PS3, you might get a free copy but that's not practical due to the limitations of the last-gen machines.

So, no, people won't get Skyrim Remastered for free on their X1/PS4 just because they owned it for the 360/PS3 which is what some people were expecting/demanding and doesn't sound very reasonable.

I love how consolists are compalining. Who'd they think make any mods for new one if not PC gamers? And if you don't give it free, nobody is bothering to update their mods.

Two things that 1994 have in common:

1) I've been high since 1994.

2) There's been no good Sonic games since 1994.

Sonic Adventure nearly sent me to rehab. Luckily I discovered candy-flipping that year and I got my life back on track.

Considering the cut and paste job they did on the Steam store page description, to the point of not even bothering to delete the part about now mods for consoles! I'm not expecting much.

The Taco Bell across the border is pretty popular with the Mexican population because it doesn't taste like proper Mexican food. It's different, that's why it's interesting. Even if the HOT hot sauce tastes kinda mild. And I like the Doritos shell.

I doubt it'll be amazing or worth $60 (assuming they reboot the price for the new edition) but we're getting it free anyway so no worries. I do assume it'll be something more than just "DLC+HD Texture Pack". Anyway, the real take-away is that console people are all entitled goobers :nottalking:

 
I can only see out of one eye so maybe I'm way off base here, but it looked to me from what I could see out of my left eye that the comparison video between Skyrim and Skyrim remaster was more than just better textures. Any of you Two-Eyes care to correct me on that?

Is there a trailer where they compare PC to PC? Because all I see is last gen console to next gen. The differences are pretty much textures, lighting and shading. The textures, as Pete Hines pointed out, we already had. PC could always do lighting and shader effects too that last gen consoles couldn't. Maybe they add a few more in for smoke and mirrors, but mainly the console people are going to see the benefits, which is why they are getting charged and we are not.

I think I'll sell my one share of stock they gave me when they started this crap a couple of weeks ago for the $42 it's worth and buy some pizza to morn the loss.
