Since I thought the cheap 3DS games thread was a good idea. I thought I would start one for the PS Vita. I will maintain this site a few times a day going forward. Post links up to new deals and I will add them to the OP. Anyhow, here we go:

The HENkaku exploit has been patched with a new firmware update. I'm having more fun with my Vita than I have in over a month, so it's unlikely that I'll upgrade. Just to be safe, though, I've signed out of PSN so Sony can't track my use of the system (and my PSTV). I've also put the lion's share of the legit games that I purchased on my computer so I don't need to bother downloading them from the PS3.

I have a vita tv, just no the memory card for it.

It's on 3.60, but need memory card to use exploit.

PSTV has 1gb of built in memory. Much of that will be used up by the system but you could probably do something since older system games have such tiny storage requirements.

I thought so too, but I heard that the exploit writes to the memory card only.

Apparently it won't work/run on the 1gb internal.

 
We should probably stop talking about modding since that's generally what gets a thread closed down.

Anyone else planning to try and fight for a copy of Rainbow Moon on Friday? I've played enough of it now to think it'll at least be worth owning a physical copy now. I can decide later if it's a keeper or not if I'm actually able to get one ordered.

 
It'll probably be less fighting involved since it's limited to 1 copy per now.

I'm getting every Vita release, so as usual, I'll be awake early next Friday getting myself a copy.

 
Just found Supremacy MMA for a couple dollars. Isn't that one of the rarer Vita games? How would I go about getting a fair price for it? GS only gives $6.60...
 
Scored a NFS most wanted for $5 at Walmart. That and finding a used aegis of earth at gs made my vacation. I only wish I could find a virtual tennis. I saw one at a book off but it was $34.99 was complete. Broke my heart

Same here, but I'm going to have the misfortune of having to attempt this on a laptop using some horrible DSL from a relative's as I'm out of town next week. Not looking forward to those aspects of this at all.

That was the most disappointing collector's edition I've bought to date. Game was rather terrible, and the box was just embarrassing to the point that it is still to this very day hiding triple bagged in the bottom of a box in a bottom corner of my closet.

 
Listing on eBay for Omega Labyrinth $28.17 used.

It's a solid price, and there's not too many left, so if anyone is interested in playing the game, and not spending too much, here's your chance.

And yes, this is that dungeon crawler game people always like to talk about in this thread, but could never remember the name. ;D

Just patches henkaku out. Decided I'm not going to update. I know I'm losing psn access and ability to sync trophies but my psvtv is still unmodded so ill just use that for doing that stuff. Honestly playing old games through emulators has made the vita so much better I cant imagine going back. I'm hoping a fw spoof will eventually come out and restore psn access

Disappointing yes, but people are forgetting that "silicone mouse pad"

on another note, any retailers going to carry Valkyrie drive: bhikunni CE or is it only rice digital? T-T

VGP might end up carrying their own version, but the CEs from Rice Digital are typically theirs.

MGS HD is definitely worth the purchase. If the shipping cost is bothering you, just opt for a store pick-up. Walmart has a fairly ubiquitous retail presence in the United States. Also considering that most retail stores have rid their inventory of Vita games, its not a bad price even with shipping.

It's not aviable in my state for store pick up. So I'm debating if it's worth 5 more bucks.

Well, NISA is at less than 25% on Criminal Girls 2, so I would say due to its nature, Amazon probably wont be stocking that one, so you should grab it while you can.

If I knew the physical copy was exclusive to the NISA Store, I would have preordered the standard one before it sold out. 

I guess I'll just wait to see if the other versions get restocked, don't really want to pay an extra $40 for a LE I don't want.

Worst comes to worst, I'll just wait for the digital version to go on sale or import the Europe version.
