LEGO Deals 3

I finally found the last 4 Disney minifigures I needed.  I helped some kids in the store find some that they needed as well.  They were very impressed and happy.  They wished me luck in finding the last 4 for myself.            I have a whole box of series 16 that I still need to open.  Anyone have any ideas on how to get William Shakespeare minifigure and Mrs. Scratchen-post cat lady for not too much money?

Target has 20% off Nexo this week.

Also they have 40% off of Dimensions. That makes a Cyberman $3.61 and Doc Brown less than $3. Both OOS online but you might have luck with in store pick up. But this included new sets. So the Ghostbusters Story set is $30 instead of $50.

TRU has 20% off Scoopy Doo, Angry Birds and Jurassic World this week.
Amazon has matched some (but not all) of the Dimensions items at the same price, so they may be a better choice, depending on shipping/pickup options.

Target has the new Dimensions Adventure Time Level Pack (with Finn) and Team Pack (with Jake, BMO, and LSP!) at 40% off.

Awesome. Not familiar with the 2006 one, but this engine looks better but overall seems quite a bit smaller.
734 pieces for $99.99 ? The 2006 train was $90 for 965 pieces, though that one didn't include tracks. Still, why is a non-licensed, non-motorized train that expensive for its piececount? I guess because people really want a holiday train. For me: pass.

(Totally would have, though, if it were a Star Wars Holiday Train)

Hmmm, those prices on the Lego dimensions cyber man doc brown etc., is that via just the 40% off sale price plus the 10% cartwheel on all video games? Or is that via a pricematch plus 40% off sale price? Thee are also some cartwheel discounts on various Nexo Knights for additional savings.

Nope. I always forget about Cartwheel. I hope they have a few sets left whenever I make it there this week to pick up my Dimensions. 38% off a few of those sets is a good deal.

However knowing Target this year there will probably be marked up 20% like they did with the Scooby Doo clearance and the Nexo Ultimate figures.

Didn't realize there was a $50 GB story pack. That seems crazy expensive, even if it comes with more pieces.

Has anyone seen the new Ecto-1 & 2 in any stores? I might just have to order it online.

Lol, same here probably. I thought it was awesome there was a christmas train but the design was really undercooked and the low piece count didn't help. It's made the siren song of collecting all holiday sets easier to resist which is good since my wife and I have been collecting xmas village houses since we've been together which is looking more like a city than a village now.

TRU had it out last month, and I've seen it at both Walmart and Target lately with their new toy area resets.

And I think that GB story pack is $30 at Target this week for preorder.

There is a Lego Dimensions thread in the video games deals section that keeps up to date with all sale prices.

I wish the Cinderella Castle was available tomorrow and not Wednesday so I could scoop it up and build it with my wife on our honeymoon...we'll be passing by a shop on the drive to Gatlinburg, TN tomorrow, but no LEGO stores near there, unfortunately...probably just wait for Double VIP opportunity...

I've seen this at a few stores, pretty lame when 15% off is almost msrp.

I think I might bite on...ahem "Disneys Castle." ;) I typically save up my credit card points(for amazon GCs) all year and get the kids big LEGO sets for Christmas(Palace Cinema, Parisian, Ferris Wheel, Fairground Mixer) at a substantial discount. I might have to forgo that this year and get me *cough* us, the castle instead of going with the Bank and Detective Office.

So, if anyone is interested I've got a sealed silver centurion iron man polybag available for 30 shipped in the US. There isn't exactly a lego b/s/t thread that I've seen...

We use it as a trading thread, everything goes in the LEGO topic. :)

Why is that minifigure worth so much? I remember him coming out (With a preorder?) and it just sky rocketing in price.

It started pretty high. It was selling at around $40 a couple of months ago and it's down to around $35 now.

skiizim, on the .01% chance you're being serious, I'll gladly take you up on your offer :)

Man, everyone loves Barb. I don't think she'd be too hard I just need to dig through my stuff and find the right parts. Papa B might be a little tougher.

I'm annoyed because I'm pretty sure a good hair piece for Lucas doesn't even exist.
1) This is an awesome project. Great work!

2) Check out the CIVIL WAR movie version of Falcon from the Crossbones set--I think that's the only afro-like hair piece I've seen lately. It's much better than the slicked-back hair they gave the first Falcon minifig. Should be an improvement for Lucas!

Okay, I just caught up on a couple weeks of thread. Good LEGOing, everyone. No clearance GB Firehouses anywhere near me.

I drove from ATL to Austin last weekend for a Burt Reynolds Mystery Movie Marathon and to see friends. Of course, I hit AS MANY TARGETS AS POSSIBLE along the way, buying most of the 50% off stuff I could find.

Best half-price finds:

http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Final-Flight-of-Destiny-s-Bounty-70738 (this looks really cool, and I don't care about Ninjago)

http://shop.lego.com/en-US/The-Fortrex-70317 (a giant mobile fortress-tank? the GI JOE fan in me loves this)

http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Imperial-Assault-Carrier-75106 (I found about 4 of these, but only bought one)

http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Demolition-Site-60076 (bought this at Target for $44, totally forgetting that I'd gotten 2x for $25 at Walmart. Duh. Will return this one to Target.)

http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Emma-s-House-41095

and

http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Heartlake-Shopping-Mall-41058 (not half off--I think it was 30% off, but retired? So I snagged it.)

And I got a Gene Belcher POP figure for like $2.68, which made me very happy.

So, yeah...I GUESS I will keep them all? Maybe I return the Rebels ship, since it is pretty common on clearance, and it was still about $60 on sale.

Oh, and bought a few series 16s on the way back into ATL. First one I picked up was a Banana Man! YUSSS.

Brickseek was showing two stores with one The Riddler Chase each on clearance. I went to the one that had it at $5.50, but I couldn't find it at either of the clearance sections, or the toy section. They did have a lot of Elves and Friends sets for $40 and $30. And I also saw 3 of the Star Wars buildable figures.

I'll check the other store that has it at $11 later today.

The NEXO Castle for half off already?! Great find!

I bought the City Police Station for $54 two weeks ago. They had 3-4 and sadly must have updated their price stickers because they had one for $20. Worth a look for the window pieces alone.

I think it's one of those rare instances, I only see one store with that price in So Cal, most stores don't carry it or only 1-2 remaining.

Picked up series 16 wildlife photographer, cyborg and dog show winner today. Just need to grab cute little devil and scallywag pirate to finish the series off.

No clue, but it's a case of LRG is releasing games this week, and I can't afford both right now ._.

That, and my wife already has one stashed aside for herself. I swear I had 2 extra, but I can't find the other.

Does anyone know how accurate Brickseek is for Target? One of the sets has a quantity of 1. I wasn't sure how often they update it. I'm trying to figure out if it's worth getting up early and trying to pick it up tomorrow.

It's hard to say with target. I've seen one in stock and I can't find it on the shelves. You probably have a 50% chance of it being there. They don't account for theft all the time so some items will still show in stock even though they aren't there. It doesn't hurt to ask at the service desk if one was returned recently and not reshelved yet

To expand on Green Guant's previous report:

I got pricematches for 5 different fun packs at extra low target.com pricing. All fun packs in store ring up at $7.19 however the prices on Dr. Who Cyberman, Back to the Future Doc Brown, Lego Movie Bad Cop, Ghostbusters Slimer, and Ninjago Sensei Wu are lower (although I know I and others already got a bunch of these back when some were $2.50 on Amazon and $1.00 clearance at Walmart):

Doc Brown 207-03-2028 $2.93
Cyberman 207-03-2027 $3.59
Sensei Wu 207-03-2026 $4.31
Bad Cop 207-03-2004 $4.55
Slimer 207-03-2035 $5.39

Those prices are before the additional cartwheel 10% off discount was applied, which is YMMV on pricematch. Some other packs are $6.11 on target.com but they're mostly the older ones (LotR, Wicked Witch, Chima etc.) that I again already got cheaper.

I'm at 0% with Brickseek when the quantity is 1 for Walmart and Target.

The Final Flight of Destiny's Bounty was listed as $35. Wasn't really interested in the set, but it was a no brainer at that price.

Now I'm waiting for Poe's X-Wing or the Resistance X-Wing to drop in price.

Going to wait for Double VIP for the castle. It's $17.50 in points.
Same here. I need a couple of weeks to figure out where I'll display and store it anyway. Kinda curious on whether it will be difficult to find though I'm sure in the long run it's a better investment than stocks.

Yeah I've been meaning to take some displayed sets down in general but will really need to do so before getting the castle.
Today I picked up cute little devil and scallywag pirate to finish off series 16

I don't think it will be too much of a problem, $3.99 vs $350 is a big jump for most people, it's not like the Disney Princess sets flew off the floor either(other than elsa during Christmas). The box is probably massive though, like the Hellicarrier and Ghostbusters HQ, I'm going to wait on it myself but something I'm sure to get!

Or even not double points but we will get Christmas sets too, the little free things with $100 purchase. Those are worth $25+. One of this years looks really nice.

That's phenomenal looking. Last year's Gingerbread House was quite good too and so was the train. Did it start with the train in terms of high quality free sets? I might have to start collecting these if so....

Nope, you were very late to the party. Some were better than others. However the Gingerbread House and this years 'ornament' are the best.
