The Best Buy exclusive Game of Thrones Season 6 steelbook has had a price drop to $44.99 and includes a $10 My BB preorder bonus if you order by this Saturday.

Also, the Target exclusive Secret Life of Pets steelbook now includes a $5 preorder gift card which may or may not get canceled.  Either way, the price of the movie will be $17.99 or lower.

I pre-ordered the GoT S6 SB when the "buy $50+ get $10 GC" promo was going on, so I don't think I'll be double-dipping on that one, unfortunately.

Stupid companies changing series partway through so the earlier ones no longer match. My Card Captor Sakura manga set... Game of Thrones... Target stopping their exclusive packaging for Penny Dreadful on the last season...

Yeah the Game of Thrones sets are frustrating.  I'm still holding out hope that Best Buy does some individual House cardboard covers for season six.

Yeah, it was really well reviewed. I read all their 3D and 4K stuff because they seem the most even handed. They haven't reviewed Beyond but the original reboot and Into Darkness are some their highest 4k reviews as well. I'll have to think about this as buying the 4K and 3D separately could be 40 bucks on it's own looking at the ebay market.

Preacher steelbook is on sale at Target for $32.99 through today and you can use the 20% off Cartwheel to bring it down to $26.39.

Also, I noticed Pokemon Diamond steelbook is supposed to be released at Best Buy tomorrow but is not available for preorder. Guessing it must be delayed but didn't know if someone knew the whole story.

I'm most likely not going to make it to Target at all tomorrow, if one of the regulars here can help me with the Target Batman steelbook it would be much appreciated.

 
My local store had six in-stock of Caped Crusaders SB when I was there around 8:15AM this morning.  I'll try to run by there after work and pick up ones for others if they're still there.   I didn't want to bogart them first thing in the AM.

Same thing goes for other cags I've helped, if I can get my hands on an extra one I'll let you know. Would just be the price I paid + shipping (normally around $2.50-$3.00, ships in a box inside an envelope for double protection). That's IF I can get one for you. I'll let you know!

Edit: Is this in store only or is online sold out? Can't get to target.com right now. And anyone have the DPCI or is the same as the regular version?

It's supposedly in-store only, which is why I hauled ass to Target this morning.

 
FYI, don't know when it changed because it was priced wrong for quite a while but the Ultimate Laika Collection is now showing $45. Grats to all that locked in at $25 and do we know if this is a steel or not yet? Comes out in three weeks and I'm stoked to see the other three films I haven't seen; only seen Coraline which I loved.

 
Glad I went to Best Buy today because 3 of the 4 Polar Express steelbooks had spine slashes on them.  Picked up Home Alone, Star Trek, Polar Express, and Kingsmen.  There was a new steelbook planogram section in the feature aisle. 

I'd go track down The Polar Express right now for $15 if you think you might want it.  They already took down the listing from BB.com.  All of these holiday steelbooks were in really short supply last year and then aftermarket prices spiked hard.  (A Christmas Story, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, Elf)

There were 7 at the Shiloh, IL store at 10:30 this morning. If needed I can try to get one from the MO side of the STL area, but unfortunately I work both of my jobs all 5 weekdays this week so my access to Target will be limited.
 
Crap, I totally forgot about the Cape Crusaders steelbook.  If anyone can hook me up with one, I'd appreciate it.  I also have a spare sealed Killing Joke if you want to do a trade for it.

The only thing that has me worried about this is they removed the "steelbook" and "only at BB" from the listing. If its just a standard release then I would probably go with the 3D version of Kubo since I have all the other movies in the collection.

Took me about 45 minutes this morning but I was able to secure a copy of the new Batman steelbook at Target this morning. They didn't have any new releases on the shelves and apparently the whole cart was missing somewhere. Also got the new Star Trek Beyond steel in the mail - that thing is a beauty. Was only $10 after using a $10 My BB reward certificate.
