I picked up an extra copy of the Caped Crusaders. Cost plus shipping to members here, although I might not be able to ship it out until later on the week.

I picked up three copies of Caped Crusaders, with my home store having five when I left there this morning.  Cost + shipping to the regulars around here and I think I have three single-movie cardboard boxes I can use for shipment from stuff I've picked up from Zavvi, plus (I think) a bubble mailer outside of the box. 

May not be until Fri that I can ship them out, as I'm waiting for some other stuff to show up that I need to send off  via the post office.

Found a batman steelbook at my store mixed in with the regular copies. Was going to pick it up because I'm a steelbook fan, but I actually like the bright colors on the regular slipcover more.

Think it's safe to sit on Polar Express for a sale price? Feel like a lot of these tend to hang around for a while and end up being $5 or so.

Hard to say. Like Nothing371 said they (the other Christmas movie steelbooks) were kind of hard to find last year during holiday season (especially the Christmas Vacation steelbook).

 
I suppose at best I should at least wait to see if they're included in the 15% off sale in three days. If it really sells out by then or even after then no real big loss.

I made it to Target today to run some errands, surprisingly I saw 5 there, are people getting fed up with these DC steels or is the stock getting mixed since they share the same DPCI?

You're quite welcome.

I think the main issue I think that I've seen in stores not getting them in-stock or being slow to stock. I know for JL vs TT, my store didn't have them on Tuesday, though later in the week, they did have them.

Also, since it's not available for order online, that's always a PITA. Not sure if the SB and the Amaray versions share DPCI numbers or not, as I didn't see Amaray versions at my store when I picked them up.

 
Going to try my luck in store for a copy of Sausage Party.  Was waiting for them to possibly offer a gift card on the website, but then it went OOS.

Also, there is now a slight discount on the Finding Dory steelbook at Target.  Its now down to $27.99 but should still come with the $5 gift card making the real price $22.99.  The in store price at release is supposed to be $27.99 so buy now from the website if you want the best price.

Canceled my old one, made a new one with the $5 GC. I'll see if I get stuck with the "we canceled your GC, though discount your order" situation yet again.

 
Also, picked up four more Caped Crusaders SBs if people still need them.  One's already put aside for another CAG, though the other three are available if people can't find one locally.

The store I went to had three Amaray case ones in front of the four SBs, which was pretty shitty of how they stocked it.  The Amaray one has a different UPC than the SB version, though they both resolve to the same DPCI.  Also shitty of you, Target, no reason they can't have different DPCI numbers.

The only positive of both versions using the same DPCI is if the regular version goes on sale, the steelbook should as well. But yeah, searching for store stock of these things is a headache because of it.

Now, it's just a matter of seeing if they drop in price.

 
Don't forget, 15% off steelbooks today in-store at BB. 

Most of the SB we've bought in the past month or so have dropped in price, before the 15% off in-store, like X-Men ones dropped to $12.99 as an example. 

 
Just a heads up, I went to BB to get a price adjustment on a SB order I made last week and they weren't showing up in the system for 15% off.  They looked further in their system to see if there's a list of applicable titles and in their internal version of the ad, it only showed the 3 SKUs that are on the ad (previous X-Men, Deadpool, and Fight Club) so he wouldn't give me the price adjustment.  He showed me the screen and that really was all that was listed.  And, I know some people will say it's probably because he didn't go through the entire checkout process but I also bought X-Men Apocalypse right there and it didn't ring up with an extra 15% off.

So, if anyone is able to get a price adjustment or discount on any titles that aren't the three shown, congrats!

 
Gonna try and get 15% off the Polar Express SB in a few minutes here. Hopefully they will just see it on my phone and accept the sale price.

 
I was able to get my three online orders that were within my Elite+ return period adjusted in-store, though it was a huge PITA since the system didn't have the 15% discount in-store at the register.  It needed manual price changes for all of the items, though I was able to get the 15% off the online prices. 

Worked out in the end, though was almost too much of a PITA to want to deal with again.

Man, all steelbooks are welcome, but for my own personal reasons I am getting a bit tired of them releasing new steelbooks for stuff that I already recently bought the slipcovered standard versions. Happened with The Martian Extended, The Revenant, It Follows, Catch me If You Can, and now Christine. I will likely end up double dipping if the price drops below $10 though (like I did with It Follows).

I couldn't find any mention of the sale online and the cashier/employees were oblivious of any sale. Tried showing them one of the steels that were on discount and they said it was just a sale on that particular one so no dice. I gave up on it since I really had no way to prove the sale's existence but bought it anyway in the off chance it goes on sale during BF or after. Can just repurchase it if it does.

Of note, they did have Home Alone and Christmas Story SB's at that store which I -thought- was mentioned to be last years? Are they rare or?

 
Plenty of Sausage Party steelbooks at my closest Target.  I think most stores got in between 8 and 12.  If you go today you really shouldn't have a problem getting it.

 
Anyone else in here need a Caped Crusaders steelbook?  I have three left and wanted to see if anyone else still needed one before taking them back to Target.
