Generations has been on sale before. I'm considering the Unleashed DLC, but I need to play my disc copy of the game before I buy it. Same with Flock which was on the Capcom Digital Collection disc.

This isn't out of the ordinary for gaming in '06-'07 and I'm confused that you think it is. Higher difficulties are usually locked. Another example is with the Gears of War game, as many fans didn't like that so later ones took the locked difficulty off. It might be a new kind of unsaid standard now. The many things we as gamers, them as developers learned over time.

 
Popped 3 Rare Achievments in Overwatch today. I thought that was pretty cool considering how many people play the game. 2 were from the event the other one was a launch cheevo.

No, most of the modes are variations of a "Push the Cart" mode like Team Fortress, capture a territory, or a combination of both. There is also a 1v1 and 3v3 map that is several rounds of single life elimiation. The current event has a temporary Capture the Flag mode that will probably be brought back permanently. The rest of the variations are usually tweaks to what characters can be used.

There has also been a Rocket League style soccer game, and an AI survival mode for past events.

I think rarity is based on percentage, overwatch has tons of players and many casual so not surprising a lot of non achievement hunters

Congrats, yeah I grabbed an achievement for the Force Awakens table in Pinball FX 2 last night while offline (so I don't know if I would have gotten a rare achievement sound or not lol). Noticed it said 1% of gamers unlocked it while I jumped online to post it though.

There is usually a spot to log in to SR while you're in the checkout process.

Not everything (by a long shot it seems) is shop runner eligible. I checked Metal Gear Solid V:phantom Pain earlier and it was not. I would add it to the stack for under $10. Shipping and tax put it over.

Items that are eligible will show the shop runner icon. Circle looking thing in the listing.

This google search seems to bring the items up. Click on any item to see the circle looking icon I am talking about. I found a few over priced games that were eligible. I bet I never end up using shop runner at New Egg.

The weird thing about shop runner I find confusing is they have games listed on their site and they say they're partnered with newegg and when I click on the game, it tells me to go to newegg to buy the game. Ok that's fine but I thought if I went thru SR I'd get the service of checking out with 2 day shipping cause the url is unique going from SR to newegg. I thought I could check out with 2 day shipping being a shop runner member I guess that doesn't carry over at all.

Thanks for the heads up on the Stocking Stuffer DLC ... didn't even know it was out there.mDid you get it and is it any good? Reviews taking a general "not worth your money" shit on this DLC. Prob shouldn't surprise me with all the negativity surrounding DR4 in general. I think a lot of the haters haven't even touched the game and are pissy b/c the timer and masochist difficulties weren't available at launch. I picked it up for $29.99 after Xmas ... a steal for a game less than 30 days old.

Meh on the update coming out 1/30, though ...
 
DR4 is basically just a zombie killing sim. The story is lackluster. As others have said they've done complete play throughs without dying. You have no connection with the survivors, they just randomly popup and then run away with no back story ( I miss the husband and wife from DR2). The maniacs put up no fight at all unlike the psychos from the past. Plus you can't throw cash registers lol
 
This might be a little off topic, but I just have to give a tip of the hat to MS/XBox customer service. Every time I have had an issue, they have been extremely knowledgeable and got things fixed for me in very short order. On top of that I just upgraded both of my original Xbox One consoles this week to Xbox One S consoles and I had read that you can get a free Kinect adaptor if you owned the original Xbox One and upgraded to the One S so I contacted XBox customer support and sure enough, the CS rep handled everything for me and it took less than 10 minutes for both consoles. I now have 2 Kinect adaptors on the way and it was one of the easiest things I have ever done. So again, just a big tip of the hat to MS and MS/XBox customer support. They do a stellar job on that front!

I think it's $5, but I have the seasons pass so it just downloaded for me. At first I didn't even realize it was a dlc I was just confused why all the zombies were elves. I left it on for the rest of the game so I don't really know what else it adds from the base game. It doesn't really feel like something that should cost money though

I did enjoy the game a lot, bit I was lacking the challenge and charm of the earlier titles. Also as others have said the lack of real psychos and survivors without personalities was a bummer. I have played all the DR games, except for OTR and I'd still rank this up there with the best in the series

Yeah, I have already seen them. They are ridiculously big. Not sure why they were designed that way but oh well. It is what it is. As long as I can continue using my Kinect's, I am all good. At least the size of the actual console itself is significantly smaller. I was actually blown away by how much smaller the S is from the original Xbox One. Its got to be at least 40%-50% smaller.

Wow. Apparently I used the reminder email code last night. Just tried the original code and it still worked! Just a heads up in case anyone forgot to use that Best Buy code. $20 xbox live for $1.50 (tax), I'm happy with that. Maybe there will be a sale worth using it on soon.
