So anyone try out Lego Worlds yet? Any opinions? Glad its not full price but i'm still hesitant because I'm not sure how much there is going to be to actually do? I recall that being said about the PC version.

I didn't even play past the first part of the campaign. After the first tutorialish level ended I tried out the multiplayer. Unfortunately for that tutorial level I accidentally shot at my own guys a lot, the friend-or-foe markers over their heads only seemed visible when my health was low. Multiplayer I just didn't feel either, but at least I could tell who I was shooting at. :p Maybe its a time period thing.

Edit: Update: My boys, this is ridiculous. First I used the support option under my movie order. They kicked me from microsoft support to xbox support. The Xbox support guy was great and was able to verify my order and everything but he told me I needed to contact the microsoft store (he even kicked me a one month gold code). Now those guys I actually had to call and they can't locate the promo or my orders and now they're gonna call me back. fucking hell guys, I just wanted to buy MVC3.

Got Ghost Recon Wildlands Gold for $60.15 at Target today.  I like the intro video giving a nod to OGR.

(bought Wildlands Gold PS4 and XBO + Forza Horizon 3 UE, used B2G1 and Cartwheel, ended up being $191.xx, then returned PS4 and FH3 and got $131.xx back)

It was a strange demo. I get that they were going for this tongue in cheek video game joke with the whole thing but it certainly wouldn't sell anyone who wasn't already interested. Frame rate was all over the place too and the camera has issues so hopefully that stuff gets ironed out. Otherwise I liked the moves on display and are still optimistic that they're on the right track if the world is engaging. Still a strange demo though.

I saw and played all I needed to know that for myself, the game is awesome. However, I can see how it would be much less appealing if you were playing solo as opposed to with a coordinated group.
 
Got wildlands before leaving for work, so it will be installed when I get home. Will probably be swapping between that, for honor and fallout shelter (just got interior decorator! 5 achievements left) until Andromeda comes out. Speaking of which, I also got my mass effect cards against humanity pack today. There are some funny cards that will be a nice addition.

I didn't really dig the new Zelda. It's pretty, and it sounds good, but I dunno. Just doesn't feel very Zelda like to me. Don't get me wrong it's a great game, but I don't see how all these guys are like 10/10. The stamina system is tedious to force foraging, both climbing and swimming are annoying. (I need to get over there, better brew a stamina potion, oh I am out of mushrooms? better go find some) Also the shrines are a little pointless. I have only done 8 and gotten to the first city, but i'm not really dying to go back and find some more shrines so I can spend 3 minutes to walk to the end with no worthwhile rewards.

After seeing all the reviews tho, I think I am the only one with this opinion, so I am happy it's getting some love.

Zelda had just gotten a little TOO Zelda with Skyward Sword so I think the 180 is very refreshing, the OoT formula was really getting stale in some ways for the last couple mainline games.

I really don't think stamina is that big a problem unless you're climbing a lot and not reading the landscape ahead of time. Shrines get better once you are farther in, more involved and complex puzzles, sometimes with multiple steps. I think the first few are gimmes just to train you on how they work. I disagree that they do nothing though, they clearly are designed as a replacement for finding Pieces of Heart, while being more engaging than the usual bomb a wall or something trivial of past games. A lot of the other design choices make sense to me, the durabilty means you don't just rely on one sword or even weapon type all the time, and makes powerful weapons feel that much more cool. The MUCH higher difficulty, along with crafting for food/elixers makes the game feel totally different from the cake walk that literally all 3D Zelda's have been, while not feeling like a poorly implemented attempt like Wind Waker HD's Hero Mode. I think the most refreshing thing is the ability to truly experiment with the environment and that it often works.

As for Lego Worlds, having played it on Steam I recommend it if you want to build with Legos, but not if you're looking for Minecraft-like survival. $30 is pretty steep for my impression of it, but its not bad.

Just got back from BBY, went up to the pickup counter and it turns out they misplaced my Ghost Recon gold edition so they gave me my $5 preorder money back and gave me a free copy of the vanilla version. Definitely wasn't going to turn a free day 1 game down. I'll find the season pass somewhere or trade my Infiinite Warfare season pass for a GRW pass

That's the thing i did not play the beta and have yet to play my Division digital copy so I'm not sure if i will like it.I do enjoy that guys reviews as he's mostly spot on and with Andromeda right around the corner i think I'll just wait for that.

Hard thing to go through and it seems like via corporate lives don't hold any ground unfortunately (speaking from past experience). Hope you find something down the road Kane, a door closes and another one opens up.

Just got my 3 month extension of Groove Music, a deal they had on the dash a few weeks ago. I seriously didn't think I got any confirmation of that until today, via a Xbox live message. FYI, if anyone else tried to get in on that.

I was offered a 3 month Google Music trial for playing Cookie Jam for how ever long I've played it but it said new members only. Thankfully no problem with Groove on that as I cancelled Groove yet the extension brings it up to June - so it says on my Subs info. Still debating which one I like better. YouTube Music knows what I like and you can set it to play just the audio. That's also no ads on YouTube/YouTube Red content...

There's been a 4 month Groove trial on my dashboard for a while. I already have Apple Music thanks to their student deal ($5/month for 48 months) but I think I might check out Groove over the summer to see how it is.

I was considering jumping back on the Groove train, but then there was the 6 months of Tidal for free.

Groove is still nice, in that I can upload all my music to OneDrive and access it through there.

 
Thanks for the FUNemployment messages. It wasn't out of nowhere exactly, had been hanging over my head since November but the people above me liked me and tried to keep fighting it to keep me on board. Luck has run out I guess. Still had no idea it would be THIS WEEK, hoped for a little more of a heads up, but them's the breaks I guess.

Gonna travel to a few places at the end of the month and then see what I can do to get back to work. Since I've been kinda-sorta preparing for a few months now I should be able to make something work sooner than later.

More importantly, can finally finish that last little bit of Mass Effect 2 and then get through 3, then clear out some of the X1 games just sitting there partially completed (Lego Marvel, Transformers Devastation, Doom). And 10th Gen on Titanfall 2 since I'm at 9th now.
