It's fun seeing his replies. Other than Phil and Aaron, most people are celebrating the fact that people will finally stop begging for this game.

Although give it until Thursday and the begging for MW2/3 will start.
 
Blops II was the game I was forced to buy as my friends and coworkers all played zombies. We did that for like a month and then they moved on and I haven't played it since lol.

 
I'd love to have BLOPS 2 digitally, but $32 for the game and almost $40 for the season pass is an absolute joke. Especially considering those are the sale prices.

It's showing up $20 digitally for me (I have gold). But I agree $20 is a bit steep, especially when the MW collection is $20 (granted not BC...yet)

For those that care about achievements it looks like the photojournalist achievement for Gears of War 2 has been fixed.  I wouldn't dilly dally on unlocking it though cause who knows for how long.

 
Jesus Christ I am just annoyed with xbox right now... after switching off the PS4 and Xbox one a couple times the past couple months I am just amazed at how many errors I get just trying to play games on the One. Either my games "take too long to start" or "something went wrong" with an update. It's also randomly downloading updates for games I thought I deleted. Just an annoying experience overall that I don't go through at all on ps4. /rant

Yeah I've been getting that "too long to start" error code.  I googled the error code and found a fix.  While your Xbox is on, you have to hold the power button for like 10 seconds until it resets & turns off, unplug the power brick for 10 seconds too, plug it back up and it should work again.  I also read that if you're using an external hard drive, that might cause some issues too.

It fixed the problem for me, the next time I turn on my Xbox but it didn't fix it completely since it happens every other other other time now.  I think it may be my external hard drive.  I may have to unplug and plug it back up too.  I'll see if not having it attached does anything.

Also, what's up with Fable Anniversary? Seems like a no brainier at this point. MS owns the IP and all that jazz. Surprise E3 Fable announcement?

It was fixed back in July 2015, it's probably good now.

I get the error for taking to long to load the game when I have a game installed on my internal memory as well as my external HD. I'd check to make sure the game is only installed on one. It may just be a coincidence, but every time I delete the internal data the game loads right up
 
So I just noticed that on the One there is a My Subscription section, along with the My Game, My Apps, and Queue.  In the My Subscription I see my Gold Subscription, Evolve, Darksiders, and Ryse.

Anyone know how to just get rid of this section or have it not list items that are already listed in the My Games section, or list all my GWG and not just the ones from the last two months?

I got stuck there for over an hour. IIRC, up on the d-pad switches between the rocket launcher and the harpoon. Harpoon the tower and pull it down.

Overwatch PvE event goes live today! Great time to join the game as a solo player. Competitive is a better experience grouped, but everything else is plenty of fun solo.

Played some Necropolis. It's ok, animations are a little janky and I had some framerate issues, but it seems like a competent roguelike. The comparisons to Dark Souls are unwarranted imo. It's more like Ninja Gaiden, but that's also a terribly misleading comparison. It has lock-on combat, dodge rolling, a stamina gauge, and the story is mysterious like Dark Souls. I did not notice backstab/counter attacks, experience/leveling up, I made it through two floors without any boss fights, enemy placement is random (procedurally generated) rather than the environment being used against you, and the art style feels cheap and lazy. I'd wait for $10 unless you're super into roguelikes, but in that case you probably already bought it. ;)

Ugh, please don't encourage tax evasion. I know no one cares about it and you're super unlikely to get caught, but is it really worth risking your xbl account or prosecution to save 10%? Changing regions on the website to get xbone gwg is fine, but putting in a fraudulent billing address is illegal and against ToS.

Haven't been on Overwatch in awhile but is there a permanent PvE "horde mode" type of mode?  Or they only have these limited time events?  I missed the chance to play that Halloween thing, I guess that's been gone and I wish they add a permanent "horde mode".

I do too, these PvE timed events are such a huge dick tease. They're so much fun too.

I remember doing Junkensteins Revenge with a group of guys from TA on its hardest difficulty, so frustrating but exhilarating when we did it.

I think I'm going to pick up Sniper Elite 3, LEGO Avengers Deluxe, Not a Hero, as well as the Goat Simulator DLCs for the kids.  

I thought Uncanny Valley and Rise n Shine looked neat but I can see those dropping in price reasonably quick when compared to my backlog.

I also talked myself out of JC3 because I haven't even touched the GWG JC2.  I can also see that one eventually becoming cheaper as well.

What do you guys think?

 
I want to pick up Vermintide, but no couch co op kills it. My wife LOVES left for dead and I know she would love this game. Is it playable with randoms? Or is it best played with online friends?
