Get PUBG game is great. I'll keep saying it until y'all buy it

Patch didn't fix fps much only on crappier rigs
i bought this cuz GB started playing it. as someone who mostly plays single player games, D3, and the occasional Mercy support in Overwatch, this is a nice change of pace. haven't felt this way playing a game since CS back in the day. so if you're one of those people who cut themselves to feel alive, buy this game.

Ok Redout might be my racing GOTY, or game of last year if you wanna go by release date. Great game, put about 5 hours into it so far. Really like the career mode, haven't touched MP yet. Definitely worth the price it's going for on ebay atm.

IMO it's better than Wipeout 2048. All that it's lacking is weapons, it's focused on racing and not destruction.

Can you buy or use more than one voucher? Maize looks kind of cool and I'd be more interested in that than Redout, but I might be bro-pressured into Redout as long as there are coins to collect during races.

No idea, it'd be odd if they restricted you from using more than one. There aren't any coins lol. You can buy new ships/upgrades/powerups with the money you earn from races though

He's sold out but he might restock later. When I bought mine it was the last one, and then a few hours later he relisted it.

EDIT: He restocked again, 2 left

I wonder whether Techland or inxile is going to be putting Torment on sale on Steam in the next few weeks. I haven't exactly been running out of games to play, but I'm eyeballing that 25% off coupon sitting in my inventory.

Edit. Also for those afraid of thge Humble Monthly comic and that. I beieve it won't alter gaming content.

Yeah, fair enough, but I don't want a slightly shittier game either. I feel the same way about them stuffing the monthlies with demos and DRM free crap too. If it costs them even a penny, that's one penny less they can spend on my videogames! :twoguns:

\o/ the redout bro-pressure train has started

On formula fusion, Ive been eyeing that one too, but its still in EA. I think initially it had control issues but its been shaping up nicely. It also sounds like they eventually want to do VR as well.  At this point though I think its greatly lacking in content, it only has a few tracks (they eventually want 22), and the dev has also been focusing on the console ports, who knows if/when it will come out of EA and be finished

Yeah I read about the lack of content. The one thing it has over Redout is that it has weapons

I picked up Redout yesterday too and it seems neat but I also started playing Hollow Knight and now I can not leave my PC or do anything else because this game is bloody amazing.

Also soundtracks... Hollow Knight has the best soundtrack of any game I have played since Risk of Rain.

So I played literally 5 minutes of Extreme Exorcism (won it in a dev giveaway) and was pretty impressed by the game/concept.  It's a platformer where you have to kill ghosts, but the twist is that every round a new ghost is added that does exactly what you did the round before.  So let's say you jumped to the right platform, grabbed a gun, and dropped to the floor and shot it five times to the left to kill Ghost 1, well that's exactly what Ghost 2 will do next round.  Ghost 3 will then do what you did in round 3 and so on.  First few rounds it's not so bad, but by about round 5-6 it's just a mess of ghosts shooting and stabbing and jumping and when you get killed you have that annoyed feeling because you knew exactly what the ghost was going to do, but couldn't avoid it.  Maybe this concept has been done before, but it's the first time I saw it.  Graphics could be better.  They're like 8-bit retro and don't look particularly good on my ultrawide, but the game was really fun and definite addition to the wishlist or radar for bundle.

The February Bundle included the Hollow Knight demo as a throw-in, yet it still ended up being pretty terrific (XCOM 2, ABZU, Steamworld Heist, Ryse). The September Bundle that included a demo for The Uncertain was also pretty solid (SOMA, WWE 2K16, Banner Saga, Sheltered, Epistory). Some months will be great while others may be relatively disappointing. I don't think some random comic is going play a crucial role in determining that.

As far as game demos I can actually see Humble getting paid to include those. At the very least, they are free. Humble has a very large subscriber list of people who are both very interested in computer gaming and have disposable income. That is worth a fair amount from a marketing standpoint. Maybe someone might give them an issue #1 comic to include for the same reason but it seems less likely. All that said, I doubt it will have any real effect on the bundle quality. I just wish they would stop doing crap like this because you never know for sure one way or the other.

Been playing a lot of Slayaway Camp between last night and today.  Still love that game.  Perfect mix of camp and gore.  If anyone is getting into the game be sure to sign up for their newsletter. You get a free code each month for a free killer unlock and you  get all the old ones you missed when you sign up.

Playing life is strange. God the dialogue is so bad sometimes.

At the end of the first episode it starts snowing, one of the characters goes "how is it snowing? it's like 80 degrees" the main character responds "climate change."

The word "hella" is used frequently

Outside of this the time rewind mechanic is interesting, and I'm enjoying the experience as a whole enough to keep playing. Unfortunately though having okay dialogue is kind of important for modern adventure games

All goes well w/ LiS until Ep 5, IMHO - even despite the minor writing + dialogue issues.

LiS Ep5 has the biggest disappointment w/ its final annoying section of gameplay sequence (you'll see what I mean, when you get there), the actual ending choices, the actual (obviously canon) ending itself & closure since Mass Effect 3.

Wow wtf, we all know there's no such thing as climate change. Oil is the cleanest burning energy, I saw it in a Super Bowl ad so it's hella true. I hate it when these libtards push their commie ideas down my throat, makes me want to punch female protesters in the face and run away. Automatic 0/10, reporting to Playfire and getting it removed asap.

Who even plays those interactive novel games anyway. God wouldn't have made talking if he wanted us to read words and think.

Not sure if this is just a joke or what but the issue is that climate change wouldn't be an explanation for it snowing at 80 degrees not that climate change isn't a thing

Yeah the writing was pretty rough. Precipitation change not Climate change for snowing at 80 lol. Although that is some shot a millennial emo teen girl would say.

It was difficult to get through some parts for me, I finished episode 1 but never started 2. I really liked some parts of it too , but I got about 10 years before my daughter starts talking that way so, I'll wait til then to finish it I suppose.

It was a joke about climate change not existing, but that is actually climate change. Climate change is an umbrella term that includes precipitation change. You guys are free to disagree and believe what you want, though. I'll Mooby the game on Youtube.

Obviously precipitation is part of the climate, but my point was more pointing out the stupidity of the character saying it snowing at 80 degrees is attributable to climate change, since climate change to my knowledge doesn't have the ability to change the freezing point of water.

The dialogue in Ep1 gets pretty dire but they seemed to dial back the cutesie verbal tics in the other episodes.  I gave it a positive review but it absolutely goes off the rails in Ep5.

Thanks for the reminder that I need to pull this one from the backlog. I finished Ass Defect 1 (honestly the character animation in 1 gives Andromeda a run for it's money and you can't go wrong with the Mako rite Gaiz?) and just finishing up Far Cry 4 (which has new innovative game play like shutting down radio towers and taking over outposts.. There is something strangely satisfying about riding an elephant while barbecuing soldiers with a flaming arrow, so 11/10 as the kids say)

LiS sounds like my kinda trains wreck. A Hella train wreck!

Man I can't imagine playing ME1 for the first time in 2017...the gameplay really does not hold up well. It has by far the best story of the series though

The climate is always changing.  The agenda is to brainwash the weak minded that it's somehow due to burning things & flatulence in order to extort money for redistribution.  Don't fall for it, even if it is in a video game.  If you keep up this discussion, TrumpCat will whip out some real science on your asses.  Later hippies.

I had played 2 and 3, never played 1 and wanted to circle back at some point and go through all of them again with all the "needed" story DLC and then start Andromeda.

I still think the aliens/backstory is pretty cool for the ME universe. I played as Commander Asspipe Shepherd, picking the renegade route.

I actually still feel like the game(ME1) was pretty entertaining in 2017, from a character universe standpoint, gameplay got better in the sequels, but I could have a soft spot for the series.

Changing the freezing point of water would change the climate, though. Maybe the character simply has a difficult time with the causal relationship intended by the question "why"?

Yeah, Ep 5 was just all sorts of wrong with the gameplay choice. But on the whole, I *loved* the game. Keep in mind, I dig teen drama and my (old man) head is still stuck in '90's hippie chic so, basically the game was built specifically for me. Everything was so awkward, but IMO, never cringe worthy. I just giggled at it. As a 'video game story', I think it was worthy of a playthrough for most. Granted, it's "ABC After-School Special" level writing, but grew up on that shit so I thought it was all that (and a bag of chips) (cue groans).
