So I take it now wouldn't be the best time to buy something on their website using a gifcard/trade credit? Can only imagine the order would get screwed up somehow and then I would be out credit... How can a company as big as GameStop have such a garbage website.

I wanna order stuff too but don't wanna use trade credit or gift cards on their website since I dont think they've said only credit card info was stolen and there's no way to check trade or gift card transactions online just balances can be checked I think =(

B2G1 on last gen sale was last week for pur pro members. B2G1 on games for all systems was from renewal coupon.

I may be one of the few, but I wouldn't hesitate to order online.  I've had one issue of them sending me the incorrect version of one of those Warrior games that was a flip to Best Buy, but that was rectified both in-store by trading the games for the correct one, and the online rep sending me out two additional copies.  I've also purchased xbox credit plenty of times.

You shouldn't ever buy stuff on the GS website with a trade card unless you like to gamble.

All I use is game credit on the gs website. I would never buy something from GS.com with cash. I mostly use the trade in credit for flips to amazon , b2g1 free sales or to pick up retro games. I rarely ever use it on preorders due to the horror stories. No issues missing/losing the credit so far, but I would advise anyone to keep track of the trade in credit used for GS online orders. In regards to when I order stuff from gs and the condition it actually arrives is a whole completely different story. My favorite so far is ordering Mega Man Zero and receiving a gba with the label completely vanished and then replaced with a little sticker that has the title written on it. Then thinking oh well I just want to play the game so whatever. I then load up "Mega Man Zero" and learn that its not Mega Man Zero and some nonsense canon fodder. But people have mentioned far worse from gs retro online.

I've spent over $1000 in trade credit on Xbl and PSN credit from the website. No problems ever. They sent the wrong game once though

I've only ever had 1 problem ordering online with credit and it was when I cancelled an order. The money wouldn't go back on my card and I had to call and they still never refunded it. It was only around $30 and it was a couple years ago so I don't care anymore but since then it's all been good *knock on wood*

Out of about 50 online orders, I've only had 2 issues

1- game cracked. Took in store for refund
2- game missing. It was a $3 game to flip so I just laughed

It's not as bad as you think. Just stay away from digital items.

Can anyone that works at GS tell me if the POS displays the number of points a customer has currently after scanning their PUR card / typing in phone number?

I dont work there, so if your looking for specific triggering events or pop ups they might see, I cant help, but I will say, when I had around 300k, almost every time I bought or traded, I got the wow or hey you got alot of points speech, sometimes friendly or inquisitive, but mostly with the obligatory helpful info projected so the whole store could hear, that I could get coupons or renew my pur, or buy cool things with points, having dealt with this so many times, I would shrug it off and told them Im saving up for the masterchief helmet, and thats where the conversation ended.

LOL Thanks. It sounds like for the next few months I'm probably going to get crazy WTF reactions from people ringing my transactions.

I dont think i ever had issues ordering through the gamestop website. Only thing that happened once was not getting charged for my zelda masters edition.

I didnt go hard core this weekend as my main account is still on a trade hold. But used my alt account which got me $600 in credit from running out recently. Got to thank walmart and target cleance sales. The 3 Zoo tycoons for $3 each was a good mvp for me.

Most will have refurbished discs, so you have to test them to make sure they work. I get a disc not readable occasionally.

I made an order late last night on GS.com and I received confirmation of order almost immediately. This morning I got an email from UPS about my shipment delivery being confirmed for tomorrow but I never got that second email confirming shipping from GS that normally comes. Can't access what's in my shipment through the ups app either. Lets hope I get all 5 of my games (2 Dead space 3, 2 Cod BOPs Collection and a Mafia 3)

Went back in and they must of put the game away because I saw an empty space where it was. Decided to just leave. Get them while you can.

I've got $300 in credit from my Switch return, and a copy of BlOps2 and UMvC3 which both have a base of $17.50 ($26.25 each after PUR + Yooka combo). Should I flip 'em now or do you think the trade values are destined to go higher or another 60% promo is around the bend?

I'm not PUR, should I just go ahead and renew beforehand? What games are good for my B2G1 free coupon?

LMAO at the last store of the weekend, for the final few little flips (PS3 MGSV, Telktale Batman) , the dude said they couldn't take any trades today cause their system was down. Having just come from a sister store a half mile away, who also suffered the same issues all GS and GS.com have all day, that did trades just fine, I really wanted to call BS.

Maybe if I lock in trades at 2:59AM and screenshot the MFers I can complain if I show up tomorrow and values tanked, ya know, good till the end of the day today taken literally.

Anywho, turned the $15 Blops, a $19 copy of Titanfall2 from last month and my personal Fallout 4 for about $106 (Return Yuka Lele)
Possibly tomorrow can turn MGS, Batman, and Dead zspace 3 into $46.25 (Return Stardew)

Next month I should really look into getting a second account (family) and using B2G1 for different games on each account, trading the opposite stack into the other account. That way no employee sees "hey man, you just bought Zelda and Bomberman yesterday" because they were bought on Mommy/Daddy/Sarah/Billy's account.

By the way, the cute tatted girl working the store I was at earlier was the nicest and most helpful GS employee I've ever dealt with. No BS, no "where's your case?", no refurb deductions, took the FAQ coupon, and the second nicest/coolest person I've ever dealt with at GS older guy who has no problem with price adjusting crap (like throwing in the extra controller that came with XB1 a month after black Friday) also works at that store. The furthest GS from my apartment is now my home store lol.

24 hours later and the website/app is still not 100% functioning. The website is reachable, but can't buy anything. The app no longer asks me to preorder Battleborn and Uncharted 4, and I can login, but can't shop for games, look up trade values, view my saved trades and so on.

Active offers remains empty, as does recent transactions. And Blackbeard, I dunno about this being the whole new catalog, while the physical stuff is removed, the empty spaces where they'd be are still there.("Merch") Either they still need to update the software to remove categories, or they will eventually be selling PSN credit that way after all.

could be worse .. i got a vita game that said LImited ed... Came cart only used... I email them saying Take down the LE if your going to send them cart only... i get an email they will send me a replacment.... I get the replacment and its cart only... told them i dont want it im just telling them to take it down as LE... I get a email back saying i will get a refund

Well, I'm not seeing an order confirmation and I placed the order 4 hours ago. Luckily I took a screenshot of the order confirmation page, w/ timestamp. Was going to place an order about $100, but I figured I should try a <$50 order first.
