Between PS3 and 360 I've replayed the original Dead Space many times, but realized I've only played DS2 once. I got a cheap copy in anticipation of BC and damn, I forgot how good this game is. It has everything that made the original great, but tweaked just enough that it doesn't feel like a retread.

When FH3 released, you got some free cars based on your tier level when you first started the game. Not sure whether that would still apply for new players or if that only worked during the release window. Every week, beginning at midnight UTC Friday, you can login to the site to redeem an in-game cash reward based on your level.

From a gameplay perspective, there's no reason to play the earlier Forza games, but there are some incentives if you want to stick with the series. There are some issues from a completionist's perspective though, since the delisting of DLCs from FH1 and earlier games make completing their rewards impossible. Unless licensing contract terms have changed, it should be FM5's turn for a digital delisting later this year.

Anyway, thanks for all the perspectives. The only other Forza game I have on my tag is Forza Motorsport 3 so maybe it's fitting that the only Forza Horizon would be FH 3 as well.

What's the cheapest way to date to get the game and all achievement containing DLC for FH3? Base game and the DLC pass? Will the DLC pass include all achievement containing DLC or is it one of those like we've started seeing where it's like, "here have all the things... psych, pay extra for this last one..." I don't have my heart set on owning every car pack unless it contributes to the completion.

Edit: Oh, and of course I'm willing to wait for a sale. Just asking whether it's cheaper to get them separately or as a bundle? (Does the Ultimate edition even include the DLC pass? - Didn't seem clear on the MS description page)

The expansion pass only covers Blizzard Mountain and Hot Wheels, which are the DLCs with achievements. So base game and expansion pass covers the achievements.

I honestly forgot I bought the Expansion Pass and that the Hot Wheels add-on was part of that. Awesome...saves me $20.

A few weeks ago I bought FH2/FM6 bundle on sale for $36 with Gold. I wanted to play that France map and Storm Island, so I went ahead and started with FH2. I think that was a pretty good deal for digital. In about a year when I'm done with that I'll move on to FH3 and all of its goodies. I know I'm gaming behind but I just bought a XB1 last month.

The FH2 car pass was on sale for $5 and I got that. Then Storm Island was on sale for $5 and I got that. I know there are 4 or 5 car packs that aren't included in the car pass, but that's more than enough cars for me. I never get around to driving "all 300 or 400" cars in a car game. 75 to 100 are good enough for me.

FYI, there's​ a new update for Gems of War, adds Guild Wars & new achievements to the mix. I have updates on auto yet that didn't prompt & download until I opened the game. *Smacks forehead

Demon's Crystals is legit if you want a twin stick in the Smash TV/Robotron vein. Smartly priced at $4.99 also, might as well sell a bunch more at that price than $9.99 or $14.99 inferior products have been trending too lately.

Forza Horizon 3 has four new weekend Challenges up.

Some are a bit tricky this time. For Shaking All Over, you'll need to upgrade the Meyers Manx to an A Class or higher. The Rainforest Reveal Danger Sign should then be easy to 3 Star.

For Stunt Double, a Stuntman Skill is an Air Skill quickly followed by a Near Miss Skill. While you can do it anywhere a jump is near a road with traffic, I think the easiest place might be Silver Sands Shipwrecks near Bucket List #11 (if unlocked). Approach the parked car inside the ship from the East with good speed and you'll hit a small unseen jump right before it inside the ship, then barely avoid hitting the car for a Near Miss which should yield a Stuntman Skill. Once the achievement tracker moves, rewind back 3 or more times until you're outside the ship to reset the Skill Chain, and repeat over again until you do 20.

​There's a similar jump near Bucket List #1 in Byron Bay if you approach the parked car from the East and jump the sand dune right before it, but it's trickier to align the jump.

If you're in a Forza Club, you'll probably beat a Rival randomly in anything like a Speed Zone since beating any club members score counts.

 
PSA.  Alan Wake might be delisted after May 15th, due to expiration of music licenses.

Those of you creating digital libraries might want to buy it digitally before it gets removed.

Yeah I screwed around for about 20 mins this morning in the stock Manx what a dog. Couldn't even get much of a drift going in the snow. Thanks for the tips I will give these a try.

 
Beaten to the punch on the Remedy tweet about Alan Wake's delisting. I'm surprised the game didn't go on sale this week since it's going offline from stores (plural) this coming Monday. Oh well, you here doesn't own Alan Wake digitally already?  :whistle2:
