As the resident dumbass, I subscribed to PC Gamer.  This morning, I was bequeathed with a key for the new hotness: Mount & Blade!

Yes.  The original Mount & Blade from 2008.  The one that was just free on GOG.

But wait, there's more!  You also get a Bundlestars voucher for 10% off your next purchase (assuming your next purchase is not a bundle, star deal, or pre-order).

Still, the magazine sub isn't all that bad.  Comes via the google newsstand app and is almost as good as reading the real thing on the crapper.  I'll probably remain subscribed, because it's not like I ever unsubscribe to anything else.

Also, hope Fartality pulls through alright.  One of the most generous CAGs of all time.

On a side note:

I bought ESO Morrowind Updgrade from GMG yesterday.

They sent me TWO codes which both appear to be Morrowind Upgrade + Discovery Pack.  Many people got two codes and it looks so far to be an error on GMG, though I haven't activated the 2nd code yet.

Back when IGN killed the "permanent" Gamersgate discount, I wrote to them and some nice young lady assured me that they were going to be adding something great to IGN membership to make up for it if only I could be patient a little longer.

I guess Mount & Blade was that thing?

In other news, BF1 is adding a female to multiplayer so prepare to get triggered!

I'm not upset because it's women, I am upset because it is not historically accurate. In WWI the women were nurses. If they add a woman nurse medic char who cannot use a weapon and is only useful for nursing things, then I would be fine with it.

"Historical" jokes aside, I guess she's based on actual WWI women battalions in the Russian army and will part of the Eastern Front DLC.

If it ships it will totally make it worthwhile that I was forced inside due to angry wasps.  I mean not really, I got stung twice but it will dilute the suffering somewhat.

 
Now the GameStop site says "Oops! This product is no longer available to purchase" when you attempt to check out.  So I'm back to guessing glitch.

I actually bought one earlier but was idly curious if it would let me pick up at a store.

Wow, had it in my cart and everything, showed up as $40, PayPal didn't work, so I switch to a card and all the sudden my cart is empty and the price is back to $80. Literally missed it by minutes, that's my damn luck.

Wow. Yes that was definitely a glitch. The correct listing should've been a retail price of $139.99 and the $50 off promo taking it down to $89.99. So they goofed up by listing at $89.99 and letting the $50 off promo take it down to $39.99.

I needed a new mic (my old mic is starting to die) so that was perfect timing for a glitch to occur.. now I just hope they don't cancel orders
