On Mixer on console, you are logged in with your Xbox account (obviously). I imagine there will be a button on the interface to highlight, select and "claim" your free stuff. Probably then just will show up in your Ready to Install list.

I had no interest until I saw the art cards were of Motorhead for the expansion. Quote loudwire: "...take on new bosses like the Corrupted War Pig, Orgasmatron and the Queen of the Damned and follow a storyline based on war, religion and greed."

Any game that wants me to duke it out with Orgasmatron while that songs plays in the background can have all my money.


I assumed based on console launch prices, and it being touted as a premium product, that the Scorpio would easily be $599 with no pack ins. I'm on the fence about picking up a new TV and Scorpio this year. I love xbox and for as much as I spend on games, it makes sense to invest in the hardware as well. Plus I'm getting really sick of trying to read small type on a 40" screen like some kind of primitive ape-man.


Speaking of which; as for Trump tweeting during Comey's testimoney, you should have known he'd have to wait for Fox & Friends to summarize it for him. Not that he said much outside of what was in his opening address. Mostly a lot of "I can't answer that during an open session, wait til we shut off the cameras."

IF that was real, I could see it being something like ODST, a spin off (just this time being made by a different studio), with a Halo 6 beta being thrown in to entice people.

As for actually being Halo 6, I highly doubt it's true. I can't remember where I read it, but they have said Halo 6 will not be at E3, mainly because they want to avoid the Halo 5's teaser trailer style.

Yeah, RiME and Little Nightmares are really good. Actually have Victor Vran on PC from some bundle a while ago and it did seem like a decent Diablo-esque game.

Hardly ever play games on my PC though so might pick it up on X1 some day but will wait for a price drop.

It's doomed, at this point I feel like they're going to somehow make Borderlands 3 flop. I don't get why Epic isn't self-publishing, they must have given that up under the new ownership. Maybe they'll see the red flags of the recent Battleborn "free trial" and back out.

Just looked around, Gearbox is only publishing/distributing the retail version. I don't think they can really taint it much in that way. The vast majority of people that play this game will try it for free and simply upgrade digitally. It may actually hurt Gearbox as I don't think these F2P game discs usually sell all that well. It does look alright but it's once again a game that has card based microtransaction economy. I'm getting pretty sick of these damn cards.

So trying to play Burnout Paradise after playing a lot of Forza Horizon 3 is kind of frustrating.  The crash mechanic is cool the first few times but gets old very fast.

Anyone else have a bunch of games from the EA Vault suddenly becoming available for download even if you don't own ea access?

I was able to download Mass Effect 1-3, Mirrors Edge Catalyst, Need for Speed Rivals, and many others. 

The say they are free with gold but I have to buy them to keep them forever.

Forza Horizon 3 has four new weekend challenges up. There's also a big update to download.

For the European Sports Car Challenge, check the achievement tracker after a race to see if your car counted. After trying MANY cars, the Lotus Elise 111S finally worked for me.

If anyone doesn't know what a J-turn is: drive in reverse at least 50 mph, then release gas and let car spin around 180 degrees, then speed off in the opposite direction. 

I found a huge co-op time saver by accident! Join a random co-op game (the usual that never starts), then find a Speed Zone (other PR stunts might work, but I did this one). Complete it and set a score, then challenge should pop.

Funny I was going to ask if anyone else had the co-op thing pop for a speed zone. My battery was all but dead on my phone this morning so I put it on the charger and went to play the Forzathon. Couldn't remember exactly what a J-turn was but seemed to recall it was going backwards and spinning around. Some that I did only counted as a u-turn. Still not 100% sure exactly what the difference (think I was doing 50 or more most of the time) is but was able to get that one pretty easy. Blueprinted a custom championship picked 3 routes I never did a championship at (working on that other achievement little by little). I used an 2015 Audi TT for 3 races.

Bought some car for 200K or so credits. Thought it was maybe a car I didn't already have. But I did.

Then was like well time to try and grind out the stupid co-op one. Joined a session. I was 8 miles or so from the group destination. Got about a mile away and saw a speed zone I hadn't 3 starred. Tried to get 3 stars. Only was fast enough for 2 (car was too slow to get 3 anyway). Then that stupid co-op thing popped. For shits and giggles I drove to the group destination (one of the Festival sites). No one was there. Dropped back to single player.

Wonder if it was always like that or if they patched it in or something. Co-op is so broken in this game I dread firing it up for these Forzathons.

I have bad feeling about BL3 too. Gearbox seems to be a one trick pony and been living off the success of BL2. I hope I am wrong but I am probably going to wait and see how the reviews are for BL3 instead of picking it up day one like I originally planned. I know nothing has been shown or anything but man they release a lot of crap.

Hopefully the new name will make Mixer actually work. Not sure whatever the last live stream I tried to watch with Beam but it was trash. Lag city. Switched to Twitch pretty quickly. Hopefully I can open it up on my XBox One and watch the Twitch stream on my TV and still get the free swag.

My understanding is it is that is takes place in the same Universe as the Saints Row games but is not a true sequel. Like I said I think there is not too much info out there right now and this game is 2 months away. I am hoping we get to really see this game at E3.

They have been doing hour+ long streams on Twitch and uploading to Youtube for the past few weeks. I think Deep Silver has just been cheap with the advertising budget for some reason. They're probably waiting for E3 hype to die down at this point. I've only watched one stream so I can go in fresh whenever I do get to the game, but it seems decent. Gameplay looks pretty similar to Saints Rows' with more empashis on combat, and none of the super power stuff from 4.

I was still up when the Forzathon started, so I figured I knock out a couple of them. Was in the auto show ready to buy something as close to the start as possible, was curious if a rare pop could show 0.00% completion. It popped for me 3-4 seconds after the start, still showed 0.01%.

I had some trouble with the J-turns registering. I thought I was going fast enough in reverse when the car shifted, but it wasn't consistently registering. It did seem to be more consistent when I was over 50 mph.

Wish I had known the PR stunts worked, I would've tried to pop that one before turning in last night.

The update was available a few days ago, probably for the Mountain Dew car pack.

In the car panes in the Auto Show, there's a little icon that looks like a garage in the upper right that indicates whether you already own a car.

The recompression of the game's files in the big Horde update would cause a crash if someone doing a clean install tried to start the game after getting the ready to play notification.
