I bought some .49 bundle trash (honestly, most of what I bought was .49 bundle trash) because I missed the bundle it was in and I figure it was easier to just pay the .49 rather than wait for another bundle and spend $1+ on it or try to find a split or trade. Convenience tax I guess.

Here's my haul so far:

Jackbox Party Pack 3 - I seem to buy these around Christmas because family is over and they want to play something and this is always fun. Bought it for Tee K.O. but Fakin' It turned out to be the best game. Unfortunately, Fakin' It requires people to be in the same room so it's a no go for bro night.

Dead Drop - This was apparently in an IG bundle I missed, but I bought it because of the local MP and it is a blast if you are looking for a game to play with someone locally. Simple premise. One person is the sniper, the other is the spy. There are like 50 people on screen who all look very similar and the spy first has to figure out who he is and then has to blend in with the other decoys to complete objectives before the timer runs out. The main objectives involve touching 4 suit cases on screen. Of course, the sniper receives a delayed notification when a suitcase is touched so they can focus on that area to try to see if they can spot the spy by their movement. Sniper only gets 3 shots. Spy gets one power up to use. It's really fun and well worth the $1.19 I paid for it.

8Bit Fiesta - This is a 4 player party game like the wario games or Move or Die, but way better than move or die. I assume this is headed to bundles at some point, but it's a ton of fun as well. Controls are really floaty, but that adds to the game so that it isn't just about skill. There are so many frustrating mini-games, but it's a blast. Again, worth the $1.99 I paid for it.

HAUNTED: Halloween '86 (The Curse Of Possum Hollow) - NES Game - $1.99
HAUNTED: Halloween '85 - $0.79

These two just looked neat and I figured were cheap enough for what they are.

All You Can Eat - $0.49
Mastema: Out of Hell - $0.49
Shadows 2: Perfidia - $0.49
Blood Feed - $0.10
Dinosaur Hunt First Blood - $0.10
Red Wake Carnage - $0.20
Sense of The Devil - $0.10
Bloody Glimpse - $0.10

Bundle trash I missed that had positive reviews. I only wanted Blood Feed, but it was .49 and it was .60 to get those 5 additional games so I said why not.

My last purchase of the sale is going to be Hidden Folks. It's a really neat looking HOG and very well reviewed. Just trying to sell more cards to pay for it (halfway there!).

Was really interested in They Are Billions, but saw one of Sasquat4's friends stream it yesterday and while it look neat, still needs a lot of work so I can wait.

Does anyone have any TD games that are must plays? Have an itch for those lately, but I might be better off looking for those on mobile.
Dead Drop sounds fun but without online MP it just sounds like a less-impressive version of Spy Party.

Anyone know why gamestop doesn't sell digital steam wallet cards on their website anymore? It had to have changed over the last month because they definitely did over black fri week

Can't go wrong w/ the Unreal series.

That's probably the way to go for most people.

Problem for me is, I've got a shitload of steam wallet funds. So it's hard for me to pull the trigger on a non-bundle purchase outside of steam. I mean, I'm paying more through steam, but I'm using quasi-money to pay for it.

I have the exact same issue with the FF stuff. I want it but 50% off kinda sucks for absolutely ancient games. Also have about $500 in wallet so actually buying something from a non-steam source sucks. First world problems I guess.

Since Fallout 4 GOTY is out, does anyone think the DLC's will go any cheaper in the future than what it is now?  I'm missing the Vault-Tec Workshop and Nuka World, ($16 while on sale now).

the GOTY is $30, so clearly its cheaper to buy the last 2 DLC, but for $16?  Not sure if its worth it :(

While I know the AMD chips apparently don't have the flaw it will be interesting to see if the Microsoft patch effects them as well. I would bet it does.
It might at first, quick and dirty to make sure the exploit is "fixed".

No one will know for sure until MS patch is released.

From what I read, for security reasons the linux patch will initially affect every cpu (even ARM released a patch to isolate the kernel), but an AMD guy has already submitted a patch to exclude AMD cpus.

So, wait - it sounds like this is a 30% hit on all x86-64 CPU's.

So, does this happen on all Intel CPU's basically from Bloomfield to Coffee Lake?
Those names mean nothing to me.

I read it's basically every intel CPU for the past 10 years.

Bloomfield would be something like I have - in the higher-end 900 series.

I have a i7 950.

Coffee Lake would be something in the 8000 series - like say i5 8400, i7 8700, etc.

Do you have all the other dlc? If not the season pass can usually be had for about 1/2 off.

That said you're better off just not buying either piece of dlc you mentioned. Vault tec workshop is just a settlement dlc iirc, and Nuka World is quite possibly the single most disappointing dlc I've ever played. It looked like it could be really awesome prior to release but it's probably the laziest and worst quest design I've ever seen from Bethesda. It's basically just "kill everything in the theme park" and that's it. It's not worth more than 5 bucks tops imo.

Whew. Here's my haul. It's the biggest one I've had in forever, and I didn't spend a dime!

I basically did a thing to get a ton of holiday cards, sold them early, then decided that since Steam was gonna keep being a dick and they wouldn't let me gift stuff to people anymore despite me paying US prices, I would switch to the Mexican store region. Which gave me much cheaper prices, but also locked me out of some complete the set bundles (Double Fine, Hitman).

Pre-sale wallet:         $ 0.21
Event card profits:      $39.85
Event item purchases:   -$ 0.95
Total laundered wallet:  $39.11
After conversion to MXN: 760.18 MXN

+60 MXN Gift Card:  820.18 MXN

Yay, bundle sacrifice!

Early on they sell for more.  I didn't do any pre-sale crafting and I still sold some for 12 cents each or so on the first day.  Foils can go for a lot early on too and if you craft a ton of cards you will have a few of those.

Yeah, I had a foil drop early this sale... Like day 3 I think. I actually got 27 cents for it.

I'm amazed at the number of great prices I keep seeing on decent games. Many with lower prices than the last Christmas sale AFAIK, after years of rubbish sales or no change in base price.

So far they're all games I already own. :oldman:

There's two exploits actually. Spectre affects everyone (Intel, AMD and ARM) and another is Meltdown proven on Intel, but may affect AMD too.

Spectre is the more serious issue, which can't be fixed with software, requires new hardware.

Those Final Fantasy games are never gonna drop below 50% off, are they?
Why you miss Square Soft Store PC download "sale" on Nov. 23, 2016 on digital PC games?

I got FF 3,5,6,7,8,9 altogether for $28.20.

Also, still wondering when FF Humble Bundle is incoming.
