I've never seen sales taxes charged. Is that because I only pay via my PSN credit from my wallet? I had removed my credit card info after the 2011 PSN hack.

I’m assuming its because you live in a state that doesn’t charge tax on PSN...

Yep, once it comes to your billing address it will apply to PSN credit and cash payments.
Nope, I've lived in 6 different states since 2011, all of which charge sales tax on digital goods (at least according to this page: https://blog.taxjar.com/sales-tax-digital-products), and have updated my billing addressing accordingly each time. Maybe I've moved into states and out before they implemented taxes on digital goods?

Beyond assuming there's either loopholes or it's not forced on everything equally it does seem hit and miss what it's enforced on. For example here Nintendo and MS charge sales tax but PSN doesn't (so far). So whenever that service is forced to, or chooses to, start charging sales tax at the billing address it will apply regardless of payment method.

Where sales tax is charged may differ as well. I'm not charged tax on in-store currency purchases (e.g. PSN card), but am through the PSN store even when using credit.

Wow, I'm really impressed with Batman: The Enemy Within. Usually in Telltale games, the differences between playthroughs are minimal, but depending on your choice at the end of Episode 4, the final episode will be COMPLETELY different from beginning to end. I highly recommend playing the entire game again doing opposite actions because it feels like a unique (and sometimes devastating) experience.

It also bears mentioning that the decision at the end of Episode 5 was so heavy that I had to pause the game and literally walk away for 20 minutes while I weighed the pros and cons in my head (that was part of my decision to replay the whole thing).

Definitely my favorite Telltale series next to The Walking Dead. So good.

Same here, season 1 wasn't too bad but Enemy Within has to be one of Telltale's best. The choices and outcomes aren't super obvious like their other games and I'm seriously considering playing the whole season again to see how it different it can play out.

That happens to me a lot with major choices in games, mostly with matters of the heart. But I tend to get emotionally invested in such games. At the first major decision in Doki Doki Literature Club, I had to think about it overnight. And when it came time to romance the female leads in Persona 4, I was so struck with indecision that I straight up stopped playing for several months. >.>

You really sold me on it with this. I love Batman and I absolutely hated season 1. It's my least favorite TellTale game beside Jurassic Park (Tales from the Borderlands and Wolf Among Us are best, imo). I am totally going to buy Enemy Within though.

Thanks for the heads up that Episode 5 is out. Waited for them all to be out so I can remote play them on the TV in the living room. My wife likes to watch me play most of the teletale games.

I only got through the first episode, but I liked what I played. Tales from the borderlands is still my favorite, but I deffinitly gotta check the rest of this out.

Screwed up again. Watched the videos for both MLB and Far Cry and got the codes. I didn't claim them on the site though. Went to grab the codes today and they're both gone. Did that a few months ago and keep forgetting that I need to claim them or they disappear. Kind of stupid since it acknowledged that I earned them, but it can still be taken away
I assume you mean you never generated the codes vs you generated them and forgot to write them down?

If the later (you generated codes but lost the paper) you can still get them. Maybe helps someone else. I saved them somewhere electronically but can't find it.

If you goto https://live.playstation.com and log into your account and then click on your screen name in the upper right and then click on the rewards tab they are still listed there. You have to click on the 20% off quest to reveal the code.

Probably doesn't help you but maybe someone else.

Steer clear of Gurardians of the Galaxy. Hands down the worst writing and voice acting (from Star-lord) in a modern TT game.

First Batman was putting me to sleep. Still need to check borderlands though.

No way....I thought GOTG was one of the best.
You're entitled to your opinion, but I have no idea how anyone can have a positive one at all. Episode 4 literally could have been cut out and it wouldn’t have made any difference. The writing was so bad.

Drax’s daughter kind of ruined the mystique and mystery of his civilization’s backstory. That whole storyline is unforgivable.

For those who haven’t played but are familiar with the property, Drax takes all language literally and can’t detect sarcasm or nuance of any sort. Well in GotG, the game, you meet his daughter that was killed (pre-game and movies) and find out she’s just a normal child, like any American child. Meaning, Drax’s traits aren’t unique to his race and civilization, he’s just a buff autistic guy. Just completely fumbled that storyline.

I stand by it when I say that GotG was the worst modern TT game. And it sucks because I play them for the story and characters because obviously, I’m not playing for the busted engine, gameplay, and mechanics.

I mean, that's Drax's backstory in the comics as well. He was a human until Thanos messed him up. Sorry you didn't like it but they were true to the property.

I also enjoyed Guardians of the Galaxy and there was a scene/plot twist in the game that had me pretty upset regarding a choice with Drax in fact. I have the 1st Batman but have yet to start it.

Yes for the former. I never generated the code. I leave it untouched so it says "claim your code." That way i remember that I didn't use it. I know about the rewards tab, but when it's there, I can't remember which ones I've used. They go several years back so there many codes listed. I've been doing them all from the beginning. My fault. It's too bad because I wanted to use the code to get Batman Enemy within. Now I feel like I really missed out. But I'll wait. Didn't finish the most recent Walking Dead

You are unfortunately too late on that for me. I preordered and beat it as it came out. I agree. It was pretty bad. I can count on one hand the actual moments I liked in that game. Just all around a disappointment.

Drax is an American human.

In the comics yeah, but the Guardians in the TellTale game is based on the movie Guardians and James Gunn changed it so that Drax is actually an alien race, so you're treated to a whole scene in the game where it fleshes out his backstory. It's not that great.
Was not aware, thanks!

Yeah, the first season was a little soft, but I don't think Enemy Within would be nearly as powerful without all that setup. I agree on Wolf Among Us and Borderlands being among the strongest though.

I really enjoyed GotG (especially Star-Lord's "Rad" mix) at the time, but you're right, it does feel like one of the more unmemorable entries. Still pretty good by other games' standards.

This might be controversial, but my least favorite Telltale game might be Game of Thrones. I mean, I liked it a lot, but I feel like the choices didn't mean jack squat and everything was rigged to play out in the most absolute tragic way possible. I guess it's true to its source material, but it remains one of the only Telltale titles I never replayed.

No same.

This trailer has both names in it. Watch at your own risk.

Might have game spoilers.

No, they're different seasons of the same series. "The Telltale Series" is what they add to the title/logo of all of their games to make sure people don't confuse them with other games, movies, etc, though they don't always have it in the title of their games if they're already long enough as is.

Yeah I misread his post. I thought he was asking if The Telltale season 2 Batman was different than Batman the enemy within.

I found their naming on these two games to be vague or at least confusing. Guess others did too
