From reading news articles, they didn't "explode", but the tops of the washers could come apart from the rest of the unit which could result in injury and I suppose cause property damage, etc.

Samsung has had some bad luck especially with the Galaxy Fold. Nice concept, but not practical.
 
1 Up Arcade Machines are 50% off. Really tempted to get the Street Fighter one then look into modding it to play more games.

Edit: False Alarm. There was a 50% off sign where it didn't belong. Only 30% off.

The cereal has been that price for a month now and they still haven't gone down to at least 50%.

No, it's not an explosion. The machines could shake too much and the top could detach and get thrown off. If you wore a hat and shook your head so violently that the hat flew off, would you say there was an explosion?

 
I picked up Attack on Titan 2 for the Switch for $17.99, noticed that Metro Exodus was on sale for $19.99.  Went to the register and they said that Exodus was much more, but I told them there was a $19.99 banner on front.  I believe they said there was a mistake with Metro (maybe it was Redux that was supposed to be $19.99?), not sure but there was some mistake, they said they will honor the $19.99, so I was able to get it for $19.99.

Wow, I'm surprised your Target still had a copy of Attack on Titan 2 for $17.98 considering people were reporting it for $17.98 a couple months ago and Target clearance items tend to go fast.

Rare, but sometimes on brickseek shows oos, but the store has it. Found a xbox one pubg controller while shopping and recall reading it here.
 
I think Target's lack of clearance killed the thread lol, nice find on Persona Q I'm totally jealous, I suspect there's a Target around me somewhere that probably has it still but brickseek is showing nothing and I'm not about to go hunting blind for it for a $20 game that's been rotting on shelves for 5 years already

speaking of Persona Q rotting, on gamefaqs many of us PQ2 players that went back to check out our copies of PQ noticed that the game doesn't work anymore. Apparently there was a manufacturing error on first run copies. Just a FYI

yeah I read about that. You can send it back to atlus and they will give you a digital copy as a replacement.

Just contact Atlus' technical support via email and explain your situation (defective product seeking replacement) and hopefully they will send you an RMA# and provide all necessary info on the return process. Good luck!

Just now getting a chance to post this, so it might be too late, and perhaps YMMV, but ...

My Target was doing 90% off original price on patio furniture, outdoor rugs, etc yesterday in preparation for a new seasonal display.

The items had clearance stickers that showed far more than the actual discounted price, and the cashiers had to override the POS, so that leads me to believe this may be a one-off sitch.

Still wouldn't hurt to look though. I got a five-piece patio set and then four other patio chairs for $105.

Definitely a no go at my store. Everything is still full price. That's a sick deal you got though man, I'd be all over a patio furniture sale.
 
That's insane, I worked for Target a long time ago but I don't ever remember patio stuff ever going down to 90%. We picked up a couple cheaper chairs and a table a few weeks back, but would definitely be all over that.
