Black Friday / Cyber Monday 2024

So far it's looking like the only deals I'll be taking advantage of are Star Ocean The Second Story R for $19.99 at Amazon and a new Dualsense controller for $54.99 at Target since I just recently started having drift issues with mine.

Take the controller to a shop that fixes cellphones; they typically do controllers, too. A stick swap is pretty quick for them.

All the games I had monitored for sales are first party Nintendo games and none of the ones I've monitored have been on sale anywhere. Oh well.

Besides gaming products, are there any other things people are looking to get for Black Friday? I am looking at those Roborock vaccum and floor cleaners with my amazon gift cards.

I personally did not like the game at all so I'd say no. I found it super tedious and just not very fun. It's a shame because with a few tweaks it could've been pretty solid. The stealth sections are abysmal. the combat isn't very good, I think the reputation system sucks. The best part about it is the worlds feel cool, but I find them tedious to traverse.

But the patches may have tweaked some of the gameplay by the time I dropped the game.

If anyone picks up a ps5 bundle and doesn’t want their Fortnite code, please reach out to me. I need 2 for my kids.

I have over 100 feedback on my main account that I lost access too. Dahk was the name but I don’t have the old email address.

Astro bot is on my list but I dunno if I should hold out(it's 49.99 now) or just get it now? Also looking at Space Marines 2 and blops6 hoping for a deal on those aswell.

Wooh, Stellar Blade's finally on sale. Time to get a physical copy.
Also picked up This Way Lies Madness for a couple bucks on PSN.

Also considering Last Epoch, but I may hold off for a better deal.

me too! And game pass ultimate
Amazon had 10% off PSN and Xbox cards last week. Woot had GP Ultimate 3 months for $30 last week too.
Dollar General is having their annual 20% off physical PSN and Xbox cards Nov. 28-30 in store. Haven't seen anything about Nintendo, but can always try the monthly slickdeals threads.

YMMV for those with Amex cards. Some people have Amex offers for $50 off $250 or $100 off $500 purchases at Dell.com.
Dell has the PS5 disc Fortnite bundle up for 424.99. You can get it for 374.99 + taxes if you have the $50 offer.
If you have the $100 offer you can add a dualsense for $54.99. Amex considers total after taxes so as long as $424.99 + 54.99 + taxes goes over $500, you’d get the $100 off.

There's also a $25 back for spending $250 at BestBuy offer. An offer I got just after spending $250 at BestBuy of course...

Still no 20% off PSN or eShop or Xbox cards.

**Edit** just found out they will be at Dollar general in store only 28th through 30th. No eShop though.

ya I snagged some GPU from woot when it was on sale

any deals on SH2 for PS5?
This is what I'm waiting for. I saw a picture from a Walmart display for BF videogames on sale and that's on there but no prices are on it. I'm going to hope for $40.

I can tell just from looking at it that most of that stuff is going to be $29.99 and $39.99.

Or in Walmart's case possibly $35 and $45 cuz they be like that with BF.

But that is def the "grab n go" premium box thing they always like to trick people with, whom get caught up in a BF buying frenzy. It's there for people to grab, and very likely won't be any deal at all. Those boxes always sit there full, and 15% stolen, at my stores when they have them. Bc it's full-priced games. Name brand, dead stock stuff for forty bucks. The least of anything that's interesting this time of year. They usually have a good ~$40 deal on those 4K HDR Rokus though!

The one deal I'm looking for more than anything right now is an annual subscription discount on the Hulu / ESPN+ / Disney+ 'ad free' trio bundle.

In many years past they have offered ad-tier Hulu for either $.99 or $1.99/mo. for a year. There's never been some sweeping discount on the $25/month bundle trio, and it also went up in price this month to $28. Hope they offer something or another.
My wife and I split subs, but she has Hulu/Disney bundled for some grandfathered price that sounds similar to what you described. No matter how often we try to cancel that deal though because Disney has just been ass for years now, we wind up keeping it since Hulu by itself is basically the same price and we watch it for shows aplenty. The day they try to muscle us out of that deal though, canceling immediately.

Are there even notable sales on digital games outside in-house storefronts? Specifically on Xbox I wouldn't even know where to look because most retailers don't carry digital codes, or simply don't discount them like ever. My best bet most years was to get 20-30% off a GC and use that during a sale. Game Pass has me pretty out of the loop but I do have a few games on my list I'm trying to pick up for cheap.

was this a sale that was already live in the walmart? or something an employee snapped in the back?

Since Tears, odyssey, fifa, 2k, madden, college football, bluey, hogwarts switch and Spiderman 2 are going to be $30, it's possible the rest might hit $30

So no spread sheets any where on the net. Just confiem with guys, FF16 $25 is the lowest and unicorn overlord $30 is the lowest right. Also its just games that released this year and last half last year right cause I dont see anything on wo long.
