Anybody played any Crysis Trilogy lately? It’s on sale for $10 on ps4. But I was trying to look up if it runs better on one platform over another and the reviews weren’t kind for PS or Xbox. But the last update I found was from digital foundry in 2021. The price is right, but if they don’t run well then I might as well pass and focus on my backlog

I’ve been playing it on my Ps5 and haven’t noticed anything. Seems to run fine, but I’ve never played it on any other platform . For $3.33 per game, I’d say it’s worth the leap.
 
Bender - I'm gonna make my own Gran turismo with black jack and hookers.

As for BMX xxx I never heard of it. That's quite a crazy release. Especially mirroring the last few years where Sony is more censorship than Nintendo leaning.

It was definitely of its era. Times were simpler back then… Spike TV was on everyone’s tvs, Maxim proudly graced all the newstands, booth babes were living the high life, and there were grey, identical first person shooters as far as the eye could see. Also, back then Kratos was a badass chad instead of a sad sack divorced dad believe it or not!

I was interested until it turned out to be a soulless F2P gacha game.

Why can't just get games that don't treat us like a bucket of money with hands?
 
Not sure if this is where I should post this. Haven't found an answer on Playstation trophy sites so hoping someone can help me here:

I noticed the Freddi the Fish games each have their own Trophy list but also that there's a separate list for 5 trophys for The Freddi Fish Collection

My question is this: if I buy the games individually will I also get access to that 5 trophy list? Or is that only for getting the bundle?

There were some wild games back then. There was a Playboy game that was a management sim, The Guy Game which was basically just Girls Gone Wild but with trivia (and eventually had to be pulled off shelves because one of the girls was under 18), Leisure Suit Larry made it to consoles.

And you’ve still got a whole genre of booby games today but they’re buried on Steam, not displayed prominently on store shelves. And the mostly animated graphics of today are an “artistic” choice whereas back then it was graphics limitations (didn’t stop Guy Game though!)

They get pulled if reported, so that's why you'll rarely see active listings. There some controversy regarding whether that game is legal to sell or something, due to the one girl in there.

I have a set of Maxwell's for Xbox (will work on PS5 and PC as well) that I am possibly looking to sell. I sold my Xbox and already have a set for PS4/5. If you are interested, hit me up. They are new open box and will come with a set of Wicked Cushions as well.

Have you seen physical copy for that price somewhere? Interested in grabbing but been waiting for $20 or less. Think $30 was lowest bf/cm for physical. Believe digital was $20 but that’s now over.

GameStop & Target had the PS4 physical for $19.99 for BF. That sale is over though. Target & Walmart still have the PS4 physical for 24.99 now.

deluxe edition is $20-- till the 17th- twilightsparkle covered the physical prices well!
 
You are supposed to be able to share your ps+ online benefits with a secondary account on your primary PS5. But when I try to have my girlfriend start a multiplayer round in Walkabout, nothing happens. Everything would be so simple if she’d just wear the quest 3, but she hated it immediately and insisted she use the PSVR2. So now I’m trying to get her set up to play online on the ps5. I don’t want to have to connect her discord to my profile (and disconnect and reconnect all the time).

Suggestions?

It's real simple for me now. I'm not starting any new gacha games. I'm also trying my hardest to not get into any service games either. absolutely weary of F2P games too.

They exist only to gouge us. One never gets friendlier; they only get worse over time. There are so many great games out there, why support the bad ones?
 
Anyone play Squirrel with a Gun or Phasmophobia? They’re half off with your PS Stars coins (2500), which seems like a pretty heavy discount for new games. Not sure if you earn any coins to make it a better deal.
 
There are currently 74 free games available on prime gaming. I’ve been redeeming these things for years, and haven‘t played a one. Probably have 400+. I have 250 GOG games, all free. Maybe 300 on epic games store. The majority of these are full legit games. I’ve gotten more free games in the past few years than I could complete in 3 lifetimes. And I have a huge backlog of physical games I’ve actually bought, but still 90% of the time for great prices. Boggles my mind how gatcha free to play are still a thing, in this environment. The “free” part is meaningless, only people playing those anymore just must be addicts that actually like being preyed upon.
 
Some free to play games you can get by without spending any money and have serviceable stories and gameplay. Some of them also have friend aspects and such. Additionally they are usually portable on phones and such while unless you have a steam deck those are not.

I do wonder how many gachas and such have retired people and other players whales that fund them basically.

also Google play at least you can earn free currency points once a week to redeem for games paid content from what I understand.

Also curious about Squirrel with a Gun. Was going to get Phasmophobia, until I found out it’s not coming out on quest 3. Without that I have no one to play it with

The reviews atate its fun to start but "shallow and repetitive"..shocker. I am sure its brainless fun, it's not meant to be a Dark Squirrels or Mass Acorns type game.

It was just on sale on PSN for $14. I would hibernate on it for a bit and snap it up to crack it open at a later date.
