Just starting a thread for deals for the Playstation VR.

I picked up the Core bundle off Amazon and I'm looking for a cheap camera and move controllers.

I found that best buy has some cheap playstation 4 cameras on sale for 39.99 with free shipping.

If you all know any good deals for move controllers or launch games, let me know.

Until Dawn: Rush of Blood (PS VR) $15.99 via Amazon (Prime Price). https://www.amazon.c...heapassgam08-20

I've been watching this physical version of The Light Brigade that's $20 and decided to go ahead and use Circle rewards so free for me. Still $5 less than digital and it doesn't go on sale that often.

Figured out how to get PSN credit from free $10 BB certs so the $20 in my account was a perfect fit for Bulletstorm VR going on sale along patch 1.4 (it's been this price before, and on Steam/Quest recently, but we are where we are adapter notwithstanding). The patches have done wonders according to the videos I've watched and I do love the original game/own it a lot.

My favorite sale item this week is Arcade Paradise VR. I meant to get it at launch with the 20% off discount for plus, but dropped the ball. This week it’s 30% off at $14. Jumped right away this time

I’m joining the club, thanks to Sam’s club! Their deal is the same price at $350 for the horizon VR2 bundle and they throw in the charging dock for free. Just ordered it this morning. Here’s a link if it helps anyone:

Phenomenal deal on the headset. A bit jealous of anyone who gets to take advantage. Can’t be mad though. I do feel I’ve got the difference of $250 worth of fun since launch though, so can’t be too mad about it

I ordered this set and did not receive the charging dock. I contacted chat and got a refund of $76

That’s an odd refund amount. How did they come up with that?

I forgot to post here about this ‘deal’. Sams club was purposely scamming people with this listing. They never intended to include the charging dock even though it was advertised clearly in text and a photo. They sent out an automated email offering a $50 e-gift card as an apology.

How so? I have this ordered and am failing to find any game that makes me excited to play it. What have you played that you suggest? And anything physical or all digital?

Google best PSVR2 games. A great youtube channel is PSVR without parole. Reddit has lists of the best PSVR2 games. I highly recommend Gran Turismo 7 and RE Village to start but there are WAYYYY more games. Plenty of physical ones too.

Games that I have really enjoyed on PSVR2:
*physical PS4 + upgrade or PS5 physical

*Resident Evil Village
*Gran Turismo 7
*No Man’s Sky
Horizon Call of the Mountain
*Synth Riders
*Resident Evil 4
*Pistol Whip
Demeo
*Rez
*Tetris Effect
Pixel Ripped 1995
The Last Clockwinder
*The Light Brigade
*Thumper
Arcade Paradise
Ghost Signal : A Stellaris Game
Moss Books 1 & 2
*Red Matter 1
Red Matter 2
*Star Wars Tales From the Galaxy
The Room Dark Marter
Beat Saber

There are also other games that I have been enjoying so far but haven’t played enough of, like Legendary Tales, Hubris, et al. Everything listed above I’ve either beat or played many hours

Welp, even though I'm still unhappy with no backwards compatibility, $350 was low enough to get me to bite and I'm now part of the PSVR2 club. I haven't had a chance to hook it up yet, so that will be part of my day tomorrow. I'll probably try out the Horizon game that came with it first, and then No Man's Sky.

I'd really prefer a PSVR2, but there just isn't enough that can't be played on Quest 3, and there's more on Quest 3 (Batman!). I ended up using credit and my sister's Amazon employee discount to get a Quest 3. Sony...da hell?!

I think I'm going to buy ps vr 2

Does it require room or sitting mode only?

Any must have VR games? Like top 3
You will scan the room during set up. You can stand or sit. The amount of space depends on the game. The room needs to have light too in order for the headset to work.

Now that I have a quest 3, I get the appeal. There are pros and cons to both and I’m happy to have both. I’m currently giving 100% of my VR time to the quest right now because I’m playing Asgards Wrath 2 with my free trial of their monthly subscription. And then back to Batman. But I’ll be picking up all multiplatform games on my PSVR2 for the increased graphics and features. Plus my PSVR doesn’t die after an hour like my quest does playing Batman

Not a great game, but if anyone else is curious about the old Penn & Teller game for PSVR1 it's currently on sale for $2. Hasn't been on sale since 2021 when it was briefly discounted to $6...

I am a big fan of Survivorman and I forgot there is a Survivorman game for PSVR2. It's on sale for $6 right now but it's been as low as $1.99 so I am hoping it hits that price again and I will get it. I do like Penn and Teller too but it's a bummer it's only for PSVR1. I really hate that I have to keep this obsolete headset with all these wires hooked up still.

Got a PSVR2 for Xmas that I might be replacing if I can’t get the “debris” out of the right controller that prevents me from clicking X in Horizon. Ugh.
Anyway, are there any PSVR games that were offered from PS+ with an upgrade path for PSVR2? Thanks!

I found this post on reddit that was updated last spring. I doubt much has changed since then.

Thanks! Looks like I am returning the unit to Costco since I couldn’t get the controller to work for Horizon. Not sure how returning it after using the voucher will go, but it’s not like I can currently play it anyway.
I ordered a new unit since it’s the last day of the sale, so 🤞 on that unit.

Disc upgrade of Creed down to $8.99, if I hadn't torn my labrum recently and dealing with therapy I would think about it.

I'm still on the fence. Pretty much everything worth playing except GT7 and RE Village (which I don't care for) can be played on Quest. I know on a technical level it's not always on par as PSVR2, but it's hard to justify PSVR2 with a Quest 3. Maybe when these get clearance out I'll finally bite on PSVR2.

Tiger Blade is a PS+ sale, I got all excited and see it's $15 on sale for me. I'll get it eventually, not in a place to resub but that's a hell of a deal.

Tiger Blade (PSVR2) has been on my wishlist for a while. Got a notification that it’s 90% off and only $2.50

I got excited seeing it too. $15 isn’t worth it to me, would have bought it for the $2 price.

Didn’t know Tiger Blade existed… for $2.50 I’m in! Pretty sure I can get my money’s worth out of it.
Nice to see some activity in this thread. I recently picked up a “Like New” PSVR2 from Amazon (took 2 tries, the first one had scuffed controllers (which I’d have been ok with), some kind of grease on the lenses (especially the eye tracker), and I’m pretty sure was missing some internals because it felt too light and wouldn’t power on (even after multiple tries to disconnect and reconnect cables). The second one was also clearly used (it was missing the Horizon Download card, and still had induction charge dots plugged into the controller usb slots), but it works, so I’ll call it a win). I had (still have) PSVR(1), and actively use Quest 3, along with still having a Quest 2 and Quest 3S.

So far I have played “My First Gran Turismo” (disappointed that it doesn’t support steering using the VR controllers), Hitman 3 (which thanks to having bought the used PS4 version a while back and the $10 upgrade actually cost me less than the janky Quest version), and Horizon Call of the Mountain. Mostly Horizon to be honest, and wow, it is so visually impressive, sometimes I just stare at the red fibers on the back of my gloves blowing in the wind, or the detail of the fibers on the ropes and vines. And the climbing feels great, though maybe a little too easy, as there is no stamina or anything that would make it a challenge.

I don’t have PS+, so Tiger Blade is $15 for me, I’d have gotten it for $2.50 if I could have.

Sorry for the long-ish post.
