If the market goes to absolute garbage, then the Xbox will likely be the most affordable system. And given people are sticker shocked with high MSRP games, the GamePass sub seems more appetizing. I could see it being a real underdog in a recession.

Well, this sucks. PS5 price to rise in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Europe PS5 Digital Edition – €499.99 (€449.99 before) (No pricing changes for the standard PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive)  UK PS5 Digital Edition – £429.99 (£389.99 before) (No pricing changes for the standard...

I suppose reading comprehension isn't your strong suit. Perhaps you've missed where I said there's external and internal factors working against Nintendo right now. The only one being knee jerk yourself as you're obviously not understanding the economic circumstances the system is being...

Not gonna buy from Target and Amazon is sold out. Guess I'll see if Amazon gets more.

I think Terminator was bundled and RoboCop has too. They'll be in cheaper bundles sometime this year. I doubt Cyberpunk ever gets bundled in a reasonable value anytime soon. So obviously buy them all now and play the same game you've booted up for the past four years. As is tradition.

Everywhere but the largest market and we haven't seen the ramifications of massive tariffs. Most consoles sell out at launch. Even the Wii U did. Didnt change the aftermath. It's like I take a large consideration of the macro and micro versus typical knee jerk gaming reactions. I know, odd.

Rule of Civ: Always buy the version that's one behind the current release and get the "complete edition" for a relative song in comparison. Less headaches, bugs, and they'll feel like a full Civ release versus the start of one.

Personal taste (anecdotal evidence) may not align with trends. While the social media sphere is obviously disconnected from the greater purchasing reality (though didn't Veilguard not do so hot?), you also have to filter out the chaff from the wheat. The commentary on the Switch 2 being a flop...

You're a cool person (no sarcasm), and enjoyed your posts about refining your collection, but your take here is very borderline "I am very smart" meme worthy. If you deem calling out corporations making the customer experience worse and worse endless bitching, then yeah, I guess we are. I...

*Assembled. All the carts, to my knowledge, come from Japan, which will be subject to the 10% global tariff and may be subject to an additional up to 24% in July. So yah, the meme is still funny, but there's no game publisher, big or small, that's gonna make it out clean from this turd pile.

Eh, I think that's complacency with Nintendo doing stuff Nintendo doesn't need to do and only does because they can get away with it. I own a Switch (two, in fact) and have BotW and all the content and can still readily call charging over MSRP for an eight year old Wii U title and not...

Zelda BotW on Switch 2 is not complete on cart. You still have to buy the DLC separately. https://www.ign.com/articles/the-legend-of-zelda-breath-of-the-wilds-nintendo-switch-2-edition-wont-include-the-dlc Christ on a cracker, that's certainly a bold move. No tariff excuse there! More so...

I feel like that bundle would have hit differently in the good ol' days where we were all +1 fiends and those games would have been $0.25 per game, maximum. None of those really moves the needle for $2.50 per and there isn't enough quality there to warrant getting to $1.50 per game.

Tellin' y'all, be real careful putting down money on something you *really* want at a GameStop. Can you imagine walking into one of those stores last week to pre-order a Switch 2 (assuming it had happened) and then roll up a week or so later and find it shuttered?
