I'm pretty happy with my latest deal...

"2 Full boxes of Video Game Items" - $30
Sure, I'll check it out... I wonder what could be in them for $30? I can't wait to open my mystery boxes. So I get to the lady's house and without even looking in the boxes, I give her a 20 and two 5's. I drive 6 miles back home anxiously waiting to see what's inside the boxes! And to my surprise, here is what I got:

1 Dreamcast Console
1 Dreamcast Power Cord
1 Dreamcast A/V Hookup
1 Dreamcast RF Hookup
1 Dreamcast Controller by Performance
2 VMUs
1 Virtual Tennis (Disc Only)
2 Sega Game Gears (No battery covers)
1 Game Gear Big Hurt
3 Genesi (Genesises?)
4 Genesis Power Adapter
4 Genesis Controllers
1 World Series '95

Playstation Items:
3 PSX Consoles (no hookups)
1 NBA Live '99 (Disc Only)

Nintendo Items:
1 NES
1 SNES
2 NES RF
1 NES Advantage Joystick
1 NES GUN
2 SNES Controllers
1 NES Power Adapter
1 Nintendo 64
1 Nintendo 64 Power Pack
1 Nintendo 64 A/V cable
1 N64 Pokemon Snap
1 N64 Pokemon Stadium
1 N6 Castlevania
1 N64 NFL Blitz
1 N64 Madden '99
1 SNES Mouse

Microsoft Items:
1 Xbox Controller by Interact Powerpad Pro (no breakaway cable)
1 XBOX Controller by MadCatz Microcon (no breakaway cable)

So I was pretty happy with my hidden treasure discovery. Once again, I am the King of Awesome Deals,

Holy scheiBe, how much did those boxes weigh? Do they all work and whatnot? That woman is either really generous, or really naive.

In any case, nice! Not a bad investment for $30.

But, yea everything works. Craig's List is tha sh!t. I check it daily, you never know when you're going to come accross something like this. The good thing about Tampa's Craig's List is that not many gamers, let alone people, know about it.

since no one else is gonna say it, I guess I have to.

"A BOAT'S A BOAT, but the mystery box could be anything. IT COULD EVEN BE A BOAT. You know how much we wanted one of those."

A great episode...the line is awesome, and then they go to that comedy club...priceless.

Holy crap, The only mystery box i've opened unleased all this evil on the world... from that day on I swore NEVER to open another one. But after seeing this...

You remember that time I was supposed to get that boat? A BOAT'S A BOAT, but the mystery box could be anything. IT COULD EVEN BE A BOAT. You know how much we wanted one of those.

Peter, that happened ten minutes ago.

Or you could choose the mystery box."

"Who knows what could be inside the mystery box?
Maybe even a ski boat!"

...That is a great haul.
That lady was real, real generous.

EDIT: Didn't read the second page, I knew someone would have said the quote by now

HOLY SHIT!
I looked at the picture and for only $30, that is THE best mystery box yet!
All different kind of stuff there.
Of course, the NES is probably the best, with the Advantage and the joystick.

:shutters: the horrors I've seen in that Best Buy. People climbing shelves for sale merchandise... and the tramplings... the tramplings! I stay away from Brandon Best Buy, unless it's a REALLY good sale.

Wow, I bet you feel like a big man now.

Man, you guys are so defensive of the geeks. I kick geeks all the time too. I like to punch the ones who surf message boards. I saw this asian geek looking at deals on CAG in the library once - but I didn't punch him because it was a public place, depsite how much I hate that website. Man, CheapAssGamer is a bad website.

True story, btw.
