unless you get him for extremely cheap, don't waste a roster spot. instead pick up cecil shorts!

@miami_13: i would start mike williams.

I agree - start Mike Williams. I picked him up to back up my semi-injured WRs.

Lots of players on Bye weeks for me. Who should I start?:

Tony Romo @ ATL
or Jay Cutler @ TEN

Also, who should I start at my flex position?

Fred Jackson @ HOU
Jonathan Dwyer @ NYG
Santana Moss @ CAR
DeSean Jackson @ NO

need to drop one in order to pick up a RB for this week:

Anquan Boldin
Greg Jennings (his injury is at least 3 weeks...right)
Ben Tate
Darrius Heyward-Bey

I think I would go Cutler at QB due to matchup although neither of your choices can be trusted and Dwyer at flex.

Who do I start at QB this week:
Romo @ ATL
Vick @ NO
Freeman @ OAK

I'm thinking it's a two man race between Vick and Freeman. Vick has the better matchup and has to prove something to avoid getting the bench. Freeman has been on a roll in the past few weeks however.

Vick is probably the safer play (never thought I'd say that) even though Freeman has had a hot hand. I just cant see him maintaining his level of play, and with Vick against the Saints I expect a lot of throws.

I would drop Heyward-Bey. I know Tate is injured now, but if he's healthy and Houston clinches early, he could be a monster play for the fantasy playoffs.
Flacco vs. Browns or Romo vs. Falcons.
Bowe - SD
James Jones - Arizona
or Titus Young - Jaguars
Flacco for qb...
Jones or young for wr. KC QBs are horrible

He's still Bowe though. Somebody has to catch the ball

Yeah, that's the way I'm leaning. Plus I figure if there was ever a week for him to blow up this would be the best chance against the worst defense in the NFL.

Im thinking of going with SD defense at the Chargers tonight...thoughts? What about starting Floyd over DeSean Jackson since Floyd is at home....

I was thinking the same thing but then I found out someone already owned the Chargers D. The Chiefs are probably good for at least 2 turnovers and several sacks. I'd say that's a good play unless you've got a better option.

Not sure about Floyd just because I don't trust rivers. Although DJAX has Vick throwing to him so it's also a crap shoot although the Saints are rancid.

As back up TE, should I keep Bennett with Giants or Keller with the Jets? Should I drop Pitt D for Denver's D? Should I just drop Greg Jennings or keep him on the off chance he makes it back this year? Thx for any help.

Floyd did well but holy crap did SD's D tear it up!!! 20+ pts which means pretty much any team that plays KC from now on should be a start

I'd keep Keller he's not doing to shabby. I'd hang onto Jennings for a few more weeks

I thought that too when Quinn was named the starter and grabbed the Raiders D last week. Unfortunately, someone else in my league had the same idea and grabbed the Chargers D off waivers. They play the Steelers next but that D is already taken in my league. Next chance is week 11 when they play the Bengals.

Actually, thinking about it now, it wasn't last week but week 6. I took the Buccaneers D because I think Cassel got hurt around this time; not that he was lighting it up anyways.

J. Gordon or R. Jennings? It looks like J. Nelson can't go this week either.

I traded Sproles for Mike Williams Wednesday. The trade will go thru tomorrow. I just saw Sproles is out indefinitely with a broken hand. Can they cancel the trade due to this?

A few choices here:

a). At QB: Matt Schaub (BUF) or Eli Manning (PIT)?
b). At Def: Minn DEF (@Sea) or Was DEF (CAR)
c). Flex option: Kenny Britt (CHI) or Donald Brown (MIA)?
d). TE?: Dennis Pitta (CLE) or Anthony Fasano (INDY)?

Crap! All of my backs are dropping like flies! My original plan was to start Foster, Sproles, and possibly Dwyer at flex. Now both guys are out. I guess I'll be going with the law firm and Alex Green. Only other option is Hartline.

I know the feeling.

I'm thinking of starting:
Daniel Thomas vs Ind
or
Redman vs NYG
or
Jackson vs Hou

Thomas has the most favorable matchup.
Redman has his ankle problem.
Jackson has a brutal match up!

What do you think?

I would probably go Redman just because he will be the main guy and most likely involved in the passing game. In fact I was hoping Redman was still available as a FA but someone has been sitting on him all season.

Here's my roster, probable starters listed first:

QB: Vick, Freeman, Romo
RB: Foster, BJGE, Alex Green, Sproles, Tate, Dwyer
WR: D.Thomas, Fitz, Welker, Hartline
FLEX: Green, Hartline
TE: Witten
K: Bryant
D: SEA, AZ

I guess my main question is who to start at the flex spot. Alex Green or take a chance with Hartline? I've been scouring the FA pool to see if there's anyone else out there worth a gamble. I'm got to hope Vick blows up against the Saints and that D.Thomas and Foster can carry my team. Not expecting much out of Green, Fitz, or BJGE.

With Sproles sidelined for possibly a few weeks and Benson long gone, I'm down to starting BJGE and Donald Brown every week. Yikes.

I was offered this trade yesterday:

I get:

Vernon Davis
Jamaal Charles

He gets:

Alfred Morris

Thoughts? I'm leaning no since Morris has been such a stud this year

Can somebody explain to me why everybody is dropping the Vikings defense? I don't see Seattle being an offensive threat at all and the Vikings have been consistent pretty much all year. I feel like they have a better chance than the Giants D against Pittsburgh.

More importantly though do I start RB Michael Turner or RB Donald Brown (Indy running back who recently got healthy, played well last week)?

I would not do that trade. You're giving up a reliable producer for two former studs. Each has only really had one big game this season.

I would go with Turner. I think he's got the better chance of scoring more points.

need advice on my trade.
im getting chris johnson / roddy white for ray rice / garcon
what do you guys think? also who should i start in my flex
cj spiller or james jones

Pick one from the following. Standard scoring league.
Fred Jackson vs Houston (I'm leaning this way but Houston has a tough D and he split carries with Spiller)
A. Brown vs NYG (hasn't really done much yet this year)
Titus young vs Jacksonville (recently on a hot streak but haven't seen any of it)

Thanks!

Not a great crop to choose from but if it were me I'd roll with Titus Young.

The position I'm asking about is my RB/WR flex spot and with Dez Bryant iffy I might have to use Young at my #2 WR spot. If Dez seems safe to go I'm debating between Jackson and Young. Hmmmmmm.
Megatron may not play...

Titus Young, Moore, or Moss?

What about Cecil shorts?
Titus Young might have the best chance for some good points. Of your choices I'd go with Young.

Terrible. Deny.

Already did. Morris has been great and I have a solid TE group as is, makes no sense to add Vernon Davis to it.
