I talked to the manager at mine and he said they take ANYTHING. Multiples, sports, anything... except jam packs. I left the wrappers on and even told him they were giving me more than I payed... they don't care.
 
Use some common sense here. I don't know of many stores that are going to take multiple copies of the same game, especially with the wrapper on. Not to mention 20 games being 3 different games. Good luck taking those to FYE, or any store for that matter.

This will be the very rare exception. Most FYE's don't take unopened games and I've never seen them take more than 2 copies of the same game at a time. Taking in a bunch of sealed games with many multiples just gives them a heads up that somethings wrong and makes it harder for other CAG's to trade for profit as well.
 
Yeah, be sure to open them. In a lot of cases they might accuse you of stealing the game.. and nobody wants that kind of trouble do they?

Yep. Happened to me. But I was only trading in 2 copies of one game. It's going to be alot worse when you show up with 20 sealed games and most of them being dupes.

If you really must, go into the store with just a few opened games and just casually ask if you have people trading in sealed games or something along those lines. See if he cares or not.
 
thats weird.. i would think that they would want sealed games... but i guess the theft thing could be brought up... i would be more concerned with people bringing in a ton of multiples all at once.. if all else fails.. just make like 2 trips.. one in the morning then one at night.. that way you could probably hit a different manager/checker and you'll probably get the deal.. but in all honesty they probably won't care as you are agreeing to purchase something from them anyway.

how much credit at FYE are they?

Unless FYE somehow magically raised the trade in prices on those 3-pack games, then no. I took the 3 pack games to FYE the first day the 3-pack was available. They offered me a total of 13.00 for the games. Not worth it IMO.
 
well i did this yesterday, brought in 8 out of my 18 primals and got 80 credit. showed them the reciept so they knew it wasnt stolen. also opened them as well. the manager did say they normally only take 2 copies of the same game but do what KoG recommended me and call ahead to let them know whats going on
 
bring your receipt and just be honest about how you got the stuff. if they are suspicious, show em the receipt. lying is what would make them think theft, so dont lie.
 
Did anyone else notice that Sam Goody is now taking trade-ins? Didn't notice until I went in there yesterday. But they're highly overpriced($18 for Max Payne, come on, that's low).
