For those who don't understand why they are popping up, Club Nintendo members who became Platinum Members last CN year got FOUR codes!

If you became a Platinum Member between 7/1/2013 and 6/30/2014, you will be getting an email shortly so be patient!

If you don't get an email, don't worry, the demo hits eShop after 9/17 (which is when the demo codes expire)

Beta code are initially demos..so the same should apply to the Smash Bros codes, don't sell them, give them away!

was plat last year never got them. Emailed nintendo and was told they only went out to certain people.

i hope i get the 4 so i can myself a demo house and then complain when it only has one door :)

Just go to this thread and ask for a code, there are people constantly giving them away, there isn't a purpose to sell a DEMO that comes out NEXT WEEK!

Betas are the exactly same thing as demos but one stage earlier, that's it, there is no need to sell a freebie that come out in a week

Well, there MIGHT be a purpose -- still doesn't mean it should be sold for a ton though! ;)

"Qualifying Club Nintendo members will automatically receive four download codes via email. Nintendo encourages recipients to share their codes, as up to three other friends who also own Nintendo 3DS or 2DS systems can play multiplayer together through local wireless even if those three friends aren’t Club Nintendo members. The Club Nintendo demo of the game allows for unlimited play, and features the Smash mode with five playable characters (Mario, Villager, Link, Pikachu and Mega Man), one stage (Battlefield) and the ability to compete in local multiplayer matches with fellow Nintendo 3DS and 2DS owners who have downloaded the demo to their systems.

On 19th September, a demo version of the game will also launch on Nintendo eShop. This demo features the same content and features as the demo that select Club Nintendo members will receive one week earlier, however it can be played a maximum of 30 times."
