@GreyFox787 Hello. I reset my Quest (Just bought and activated 2 days ago). I clicked on the referral link, and reset my Quest 3, but I still have nothing in my wallet. How do you know if the referral works?

Make sure you go into your menu (I do it via the app on my phone). Next to the search bar is a menu (note the three bars), and from there you want to select 'Referrals' (has a diamond icon next to it). Once there, you should see an option to 'Redeem' the $60 credit.

@GreyFox787 Yes. I have reset my device over a dozen times. The only thing available to me on the referral page is the option to send out referrals, but nothing to claim. Also, when I try to click your (or anyone else's referral link now, I get an error message, so I guess it claimed it. I don't know why the hell it won't work. This is frustrating as hell.

@GreyFox787 Well, I reset everything AGAIN and managed to get the referral link to work again. It takes me to a screen to purchase a quest. What do I do now?

@GreyFox787 Ok, I finally got it to work. I had to completely uninstall the Meta Horizon app so that it asked me to download it again and log in during set up. It would never work if the app was already installed. If anyone else has the same issue I had, please keep this in mind as a solution. I have the $60 credit now, so hopefully you received yours, as well. Thank you!

I'm sorry - I don't get alerts or anything for this thread, and I had been busy gaming on the Quest the last few hours. I'm glad it worked! And I did see a $60 credit come my way as well - much appreciated!

I've been playing Beat Saber, Tetris Effect and Linelight mostly so far...Linelight was one of my favorite indies last gen, so being able to experience it all over again in VR is awesome.

Trying to decide whether or not to dive into Batman or Behemoth next. Bummed Aliens got delayed...looking forward to that a lot.
 
That's ok. I'm just glad I got it figured out. I will probably use your link here and buy Beat Saber. I have been playing a lot of mini golf. That's the game my friends forced me to play to try out VR and I love it. I have the 3 free months of Quest plus, so I can't buy it until my trial runs out, but I havent tried out Beat Saber yet. I've seen enough people play it to know I'm prob going to want it. 😃
 
I also picked up Half Life Alyx, and man, that game is incredible. I get a bit of motion sickness playing that one, so I have to play it in small batches until I get a better feel for the VR.

Hoping to try it out soon, but I need to play the others first - never played Half Life at all.
 
I followed the instructions on the top and set up my meta q3. I uninstalled and reinstalled the meta app, and I still haven’t seen the $60 credit. Is this an instant process?

Please see a few posts up - once you accept the referral and activate the device, you then need to navigate to Referrals in the menus and Redeem the credit. If that doesn't work, see the instructions from the other user.
