Went back after someone highlighted Radiata Stories and got the last one at my store. Some things have stayed in stock though over the past few days, including Castlevania:CoD, WA4, and Indigo. So those late to the deal shouldn't give up on checking out their stores.

Yeah it could be that some games didn't make the list I got that did get marked down to $8.96. I'll update my previous post to reflect that.

What systems are we talking about getting the clearance markdowns, or do you not know that?

I know we can expect Xbox, Gamecube, and GBA, but PSP / DS would be nice.
 
Nothing mentioned in regards of systems. I would assume the three you mentioned first (XBox GBA and GC) would definately be included. I could see a few PSP and even DS titles thrown in.

I'm officially praying for *Custom Robo* to get a markdown. Its been at $39.99 for WAY too long.

Hey, I hope they go all the way and throw out some Mario Party's as well as some Odama's, and they add Drakengard 2 to the list for PS2.

Will PS2 still see new markdowns or is this pretty much it?

I've already spent close to $50 so far... if the other systems have as good of markdowns as these I'll be screwed :lol: I've already got:

From all indications this appears to be it. I'm not going to 100% rule this out for another two weeks however.

Hmm I picked up Gauntlet Seven Sorrows today but it rang up as 29.99! Is this officially off the sale list then or did I just get a weird YMMV? I only sort of wanted it, but now I've been denied, I REALLY want it :)
 
visited two cc for tenkaichi is still 20??? wth i really wanted this game,,, also is wa4 worth the 10$?what about supermonkey ball??? tax in ny is pretty expensive...

Same here, I have 3 purchased games (multiplatform) I will probably return in hope the XB version drops... and I am hoping Stubbs is on the XB drop list...

I love how these annual sales at CC get leaked early... the 5 dollar sale from a couple years ago was the best

After just coming from CC an hour ago I read the post that capcom classics was on sale, so I went out to CC again. Unfortunetly, it rang up at 19.99 for me as well. Atleast I got ssx though.

Can't wait for the Xbox list. Hopefully a lot of the PS2 multiplatform stuff like Gun, Driver, Hulk etc will drop. And just guessing, but these could be some of the Xbox $8.96 titles - Shattered Union (there appear to be at least 10 copies of this at every CC store I go to!), Oddworld stranger's wrath, Sid Meier's Pirates, etc. You know, those middle-range games that have been gathering dust for momths now. Hopefully there'll be some "Wow I can't believe that's so cheap already!" surprises too. And dare we dream of $8.96 Xbox 360 games? LOL. Probably not. But yeah I'm excited...Circuit City raiding has become a 4th of July tradition now!

Shattered Union is one I hope ends up on the CC list, since it looks quite good from what I've seen, plus CC was the only place I've seen it.

Hulk: UD is the other one I'm waiting on, plus a couple more.
 
well, just got back from CC and made my first purchase from a sale on CAG. picked up path of neo, castlevania and legacy of kain for 22.60. I think i'm falling in love with you CAG =P

saw wild arms 3 and 4, getting up, budokai, nightmare before christmas and others. I guess you're right, Jax 3 and rachet and clank went back up to 20 because they rang up 19.99, even the ones without greatest hits boxtops.

Question: does anyone know if you can hook up the eyetoy to your computer? i can't really see myself using it on my playstation but since it's USB i thought you might be able to make that work?? any thoughts?? thanks

Yes, you can. There are a couple versions, but the older black EyeToys appear to just be rebadged DLink cameras (or at least close enough to be able to use the same drivers):

Ah yes, enjoy those early CAG finds. Pretty soon you'll be as addicted as the rest of us, and you'll be staring at that pile of 30 unopened games and be asking yourself "What the fuck am I doing with Mace Griffin Bounty Hunter for the PS2 AND Xbox? Did I really buy Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2005 Adventures? Why didn't my embarrassment factor kick in when I bought Power Rangers Dino Thunder?", and so on. :)

Its worth noting that some of these games are still in that glass cases at my CC's. Both Driver:pL and ME:GU were locked up inside them, so if you guys cant find some games, don't forget to check there.

Please, stop with the deals already!

My wallet hates me... even though these games are priced great, I'm going to have to pass this sale (gasp!). I have so much more that I need to play... my backlog is embarrasing.

Tried Capcom Classics and Tenkaichi for a second time at a different CC and both came up 19.99.
 
So what are the odds on the $8.96 games dropping in price even more before the return period is up so we can get some price adjustment savings?

I have Time Crisis w/Guncon, Castleviana Curse, Gun. I can get a lot of stuff...We Love Katamari, Indigo Prophecy, Matrix Path of Neo, and several others if anyone has something off my wantlist to trade. Keep in mind Parcel Post for one of these Time Crisis/w Gun is probably gonna be around $10...they're pretty heavy.

I did the same thing I scanned the Le edition first also then right as I was checking out I had him price check the regular one and it rang up $8.96.

They're different. The Midnight Club 3 regular UPC is 710425275609, and the Remix UPC is 710425279348.
 
I got a copy of Monster Hunter and Radiata Stories for $8.96 each. Pretty good deal I got. Thanks for the heads up on the CC sale.
 
nvm. looks like i'll have to just ask them to scan the games because the sticker prices on all of these still are the regular prices.

It will be more difficult to find the 2 and 3 dollar games off the list as alot of CC's have pulled those games a while back... luckily I got my hands on alot of them months ago... a more comprehensive list is on the CC June clearance thread in this forum... also includes the 2 and 3 dollar XB, GBA, and GCN games as well... Ive got really good stuff there for 2 bucks like SSX3, DOA2, and more

My CC (won't say which in order to hope no stock has been taken) is very good at keeping the older stuff in stock, now im not SURE theyll have everything ut let me get enough and im ok
