Does anyone have one they can lend me? I want to unlock all the NES games in Animal Crossing. I don't really want to pop down $30 for this just do this. I would obviously pay for you to send it to me along with something for your troubles. Thanks.

They make a disc you can buy just for animal crossing, it unlocks everything and it only 9.99.

Its made by action replay

Hrm, might need to look into this...

I'm not positive on this, but I believe that that disc only opens up Zelda, SMB, Punch-Out, and Ice Climber--but not the original Mario Bros.

I have AR but not that Animal Crossing disc that AR put out but I'm pretty sure they're the same. Even with the AR codes I couldn't unlock Punch-Out. I remember unlockin it by using this particular name and town. It sucks that my lil bro erased my AC game save.

I was hooked on Animal Crossing for about a year, and had nearly every NES game. Then, I kinda lost interest. I can't wait for Animal Crossing DS though; that will get me hooked once again! By the way, one of my friends made a HUGE (like a crapload of pages) of "universal codes" which work in anyones town to unlock almost everything you can think of. I still have the packet of them somewhere. If there is something specific you want now, I can see if it is on the list...

Yea, that' s what I did. You either have to tell the codes to Tom Nook ("Say Code" under "Other Things" I believe) or type them in a letter and send it to one of the animals in town. Some of the codes can be found at GameFaqs. There is a site out there (and I forgot the URL!!) that is just dedicated to the codes and has a huge nice list. I'll post it if I can find it again.

EDIT: Found it, it's http://www.animalcrossingsociety.com/uc.html

Yeah. He made a website like that too. He also used to sell the codes on ebay and yahoo, and made a pretty good profit off of them...

2 related questions:

1) Do they make a device that will allow you to copy your Animal Crossing data from one card to another (create a duplicate) just in case?
*Currently it won't let you do it on the 'Cube*

2) Anybody know if the Animal Crossing DS will have unlockable NES games like the 'Cube version?

I already unlocked most of the games. I would at this point just like to unlock Super Mario Bros. and Zelda. I unlocked Punch-Out using that specific username and specific town. I think if I can find the animal crossing ultimate codes in store I will go that route. It comes to like $16.50 off the AR website after shipping. As for Animal Crossing on the DS I hope so.

Action replay does open punch-out. I think the only games I dont have through it are Super Mario Bros and Baseball.

Wow, sweet. I might be picking up an Animal Crossing Action Replay. I wanted to unlock Punchout and Zelda.

Why were these games originally put in if the codes to release them were never going to be released?

Hey how do you unlock the nes system and games. I bought this game for my sister and she wanted to know the same thing and how do you also read your secert message. Sorry if this is a dumb question but I never played this game yet.

You have to start a game and then run all the errands for Tom Nook. Once you stop working for him you can tell him codes. There are a bunch for the nes system and a lot of the nes games. I found most of them from a google search.

Are you talking about the two that you get with the memory card?
After a day or two check your mailbox, you should get something from NES. Open the message and move the presents to your inventory. Open the presents to reveal which games they are. Then you have to drop them on your floor to play them.

If you have other gamecube games it might be worth it to paid the full amount for an AR that can be use for all games. There are some neat things you can do in SMBM and Wind Waker with AR. In SMMB you can control characters like the hand or get trophies that are removed from the US version. For Zelda you can visit the developer's room.

I think they are 15 of them.
